41:12
فَقَضَاهُنَّ سَبْعَ سَمَاوَاتٍ فِي يَوْمَيْنِ وَأَوْحَىٰ فِي كُلِّ سَمَاءٍ أَمْرَهَا ۚ وَزَيَّنَّا السَّمَاءَ الدُّنْيَا بِمَصَابِيحَ وَحِفْظًا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ الْعَزِيزِ الْعَلِيمِфəќōдōōhуннə сəб'ə сəмəəвəəтин фии йəумəйни вə`əуhəə фии кулли сəмəə`ин əмрōhəə, вəзəййəннəəс-сəмəə`əд-дунйəə бимəсōōбииhə вəhифз̃ō, з̃əəликə тəќдиируль-'əзиизиль-'əлиим
Then He set them up as seven heavens in two days, and revealed [to the angels] in each heaven its ordinance. We have adorned the lowest heaven with lamps, and guarded them. That is the ordaining of the All-mighty, the All-knowing. -
41:14
إِذْ جَاءَتْهُمُ الرُّسُلُ مِن بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ أَلَّا تَعْبُدُوا إِلَّا اللَّهَ ۖ قَالُوا لَوْ شَاءَ رَبُّنَا لَأَنزَلَ مَلَائِكَةً فَإِنَّا بِمَا أُرْسِلْتُم بِهِ كَافِرُونَиз̃ джəə`əтhумур-русулю мимм-бэйни əйдииhим вəмин хōльфиhим əльлəə тə'будуу ильлəл-лаh, ќōōлюю лəу шəə`ə рōббунəə лə`əŋŋзəлə мəлəə`икəтəн фə`иннəə бимəə урсильтумм-биhи кəəфируун
When the apostles came to them, before them and in their own time, saying, ‘Worship no one except Allah!’ They said, ‘Had our Lord wished, He would have sent down angels [to us]. We indeed disbelieve in what you have been sent with.’ -
41:15
فَأَمَّا عَادٌ فَاسْتَكْبَرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ وَقَالُوا مَنْ أَشَدُّ مِنَّا قُوَّةً ۖ أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّ اللَّهَ الَّذِي خَلَقَهُمْ هُوَ أَشَدُّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةً ۖ وَكَانُوا بِآيَاتِنَا يَجْحَدُونَфə`əммəə 'əəдун фəəстəкбəруу фииль-əрды биґōйриль-həќќи вəќōōлюю мəн əшəдду миннəə ќуувəh, əвəлəм йəрōу əннəл-лаhəль-лəз̃ии хōлəќōhум hувə əшəдду минhум ќуувəh, вəкəəнуу би`əəйəəтинəə йəджhəдуун
As for [the people of] ‘Ad, they acted arrogantly in the earth unduly, and they said, ‘Who is more powerful than us?’ Did they not see that Allah, who created them, is more powerful than them? They used to impugn Our signs; -
41:16
فَأَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيحًا صَرْصَرًا فِي أَيَّامٍ نَّحِسَاتٍ لِّنُذِيقَهُمْ عَذَابَ الْخِزْيِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۖ وَلَعَذَابُ الْآخِرَةِ أَخْزَىٰ ۖ وَهُمْ لَا يُنصَرُونَфə`əрсəльнəə 'əлэйhим рииhəн сōрсōрōн фии əййəəмин-ннəhисəəтил-линуз̃ииќōhум 'əз̃əəбəль-хызйи фииль-həйəəтид-дунйəə, вəлə'əз̃əəбуль-əəхырōти əхзəə, вəhум лəə йуŋŋсōруун
so We unleashed upon them an icy gale during ill-fated days, in order that We might make them taste a humiliating punishment in the life of the world. Yet the punishment of the Hereafter will be surely more disgraceful, and they will not be helped. -
41:17
وَأَمَّا ثَمُودُ فَهَدَيْنَاهُمْ فَاسْتَحَبُّوا الْعَمَىٰ عَلَى الْهُدَىٰ فَأَخَذَتْهُمْ صَاعِقَةُ الْعَذَابِ الْهُونِ بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَвə`əммəə c̃əмууду фəhəдəйнəəhум фəəстəhəббууль-'əмəə 'əлəəль-hудəə фə`əхōз̃əтhум сōō'иќōтуль-'əз̃əəбиль-hууни бимəə кəəнуу йəксибуун
As for [the people of] Thamud, We guided them, but they preferred blindness to guidance. So the bolt of a humiliating punishment seized them because of what they used to earn. -
41:20
حَتَّىٰ إِذَا مَا جَاءُوهَا شَهِدَ عَلَيْهِمْ سَمْعُهُمْ وَأَبْصَارُهُمْ وَجُلُودُهُم بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَhəттəə из̃əə мəə джəə`ууhəə шəhидə 'əлэйhим сəм'уhум вə`əбсōōруhум вəджулююдуhумм-бимəə кəəнуу йə'мəлююн
when they come to it, their hearing, their eyes and their skins will bear witness against them concerning what they used to do. -
41:21
وَقَالُوا لِجُلُودِهِمْ لِمَ شَهِدتُّمْ عَلَيْنَا ۖ قَالُوا أَنطَقَنَا اللَّهُ الَّذِي أَنطَقَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ وَهُوَ خَلَقَكُمْ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَвəќōōлюю лиджулююдиhим лимə шəhиттум 'əлэйнəə, ќōōлюю əŋŋтōќōнəл-лаhуль-лəз̃ии əŋŋтōќō кульлə шэй`иу-вəhувə хōлəќōкум əувəлə мəррōтиу-вə`илəйhи турджə'уун
They will say to their skins, ‘Why did you bear witness against us?’ They will say, ‘We were given speech by Allah, who gave speech to all things. He created you the first time, and you are being brought back to Him. -
41:22
وَمَا كُنتُمْ تَسْتَتِرُونَ أَن يَشْهَدَ عَلَيْكُمْ سَمْعُكُمْ وَلَا أَبْصَارُكُمْ وَلَا جُلُودُكُمْ وَلَـٰكِن ظَنَنتُمْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَعْلَمُ كَثِيرًا مِّمَّا تَعْمَلُونَвəмəə куŋŋтум тəстəтируунə əй-йəшhəдə 'əлэйкум сəм'укум вəлəə əбсōōрукум вəлəə джулююдукум вəлəəкиŋŋ-з̃ōнəŋŋтум əннəл-лаhə лəə йə'лəму кəc̃иирōмм-миммəə тə'мəлююн
You did not use to conceal yourselves [while perpetrating sinful acts] lest your hearing, your eyes, or your skins should bear witness against you, but you thought that Allah did not know most of what you did. -
41:24
فَإِن يَصْبِرُوا فَالنَّارُ مَثْوًى لَّهُمْ ۖ وَإِن يَسْتَعْتِبُوا فَمَا هُم مِّنَ الْمُعْتَبِينَфə`ий-йəсбируу фəн-нəəру мəc̃вəль-лəhум, вə`ий-йəстə'тибуу фəмəə hум-минəль-му'тəбиин
Should they be patient, the Fire is their abode; and should they seek to propitiate [Allah], they will not be redeemed. -
41:25
۞ وَقَيَّضْنَا لَهُمْ قُرَنَاءَ فَزَيَّنُوا لَهُم مَّا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَحَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقَوْلُ فِي أُمَمٍ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنسِ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا خَاسِرِينَвəќōййəднəə лəhум ќурōнəə`ə фəзəййəнуу лəhум-мəə бэйнə əйдииhим вəмəə хōльфəhум вəhəќќō 'əлэйhимуль-ќōулю фии умəмин ќōд хōлəт миŋŋ-ќōблиhим-минəль-джинни вəəль`иŋŋс, иннəhум кəəнуу хōōсириин
We have assigned them companions who make their present [conduct] and future [state] seem decorous to them, and the word became due against them along with the nations of jinn and humans that passed away before them. They were indeed losers. -
41:26
وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَا تَسْمَعُوا لِهَـٰذَا الْقُرْآنِ وَالْغَوْا فِيهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَغْلِبُونَвəќōōлəль-лəз̃иинə кəфəруу лəə тəсмə'уу лиhəəз̃əəль-ќур`əəни вəəльґōу фииhи лə'əльлəкум тəґлибуун
The faithless say, ‘Do not listen to this Quran and hoot it down so that you may prevail [over the Apostle].’ -
41:27
فَلَنُذِيقَنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ أَسْوَأَ الَّذِي كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَфəлəнуз̃ииќōннəль-лəз̃иинə кəфəруу 'əз̃əəбəн шəдиидəу-вəлəнəджзийəннəhум əсвə`əль-лəз̃ии кəəнуу йə'мəлююн
We will surely make the faithless taste a severe punishment, and We will surely requite them by the worst of what they used to do. -
41:28
ذَٰلِكَ جَزَاءُ أَعْدَاءِ اللَّهِ النَّارُ ۖ لَهُمْ فِيهَا دَارُ الْخُلْدِ ۖ جَزَاءً بِمَا كَانُوا بِآيَاتِنَا يَجْحَدُونَз̃əəликə джəзəə`у ə'дəə`иль-лəhин-нəəр, лəhум фииhəə дəəруль-хульд, джəзəə`əмм-бимəə кəəнуу би`əəйəəтинəə йəджhəдуун
That is the requital of the enemies of Allah—the Fire! In it, they will have an everlasting abode, as a requital for their impugning Our signs. -
41:29
وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا رَبَّنَا أَرِنَا اللَّذَيْنِ أَضَلَّانَا مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنسِ نَجْعَلْهُمَا تَحْتَ أَقْدَامِنَا لِيَكُونَا مِنَ الْأَسْفَلِينَвəќōōлəль-лəз̃иинə кəфəруу рōббəнəə əринəəль-лəз̃əйни əдōльлəəнəə минəль-джинни вəəль`иŋŋси нəдж'əльhумəə тəhтə əќдəəминəə лийəкуунəə минəль-əсфəлиин
The faithless will say, ‘Our Lord! Show us those who led us astray from among jinn and humans so that we may trample them under our feet, so that they may be among the lowermost!’ -
41:30
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ اسْتَقَامُوا تَتَنَزَّلُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ أَلَّا تَخَافُوا وَلَا تَحْزَنُوا وَأَبْشِرُوا بِالْجَنَّةِ الَّتِي كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَиннəль-лəз̃иинə ќōōлюю рōббунəл-лаhу c̃уммə-стəќōōмуу тəтəнəззəлю 'əлэйhимуль-мəлəə`икəту əльлəə тəхōōфуу вəлəə тəhзəнуу вə`əбшируу би-ль-джəннəтиль-лəтии куŋŋтум туу'əдуун
Indeed those who say, ‘Our Lord is Allah!’ and then remain steadfast, the angels descend upon them, [saying,] ‘Do not fear, nor be grieved! Receive the good news of the paradise, which you have been promised. -
41:31
نَحْنُ أَوْلِيَاؤُكُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ ۖ وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا مَا تَشْتَهِي أَنفُسُكُمْ وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا مَا تَدَّعُونَнəhну əулийəə`укум фииль-həйəəтид-дунйəə вəфииль-əəхырōh, вəлəкум фииhəə мəə тəштəhии əŋŋфусукум вəлəкум фииhəə мəə тəддə'уун
We are your friends in the life of this world and in the Hereafter, and you will have in it whatever your souls desire, and you will have in it whatever you ask for,
