بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
бисмиль-лəhир-рōhмəəнир-рōhиим
In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful. -
9:94
يَعْتَذِرُونَ إِلَيْكُمْ إِذَا رَجَعْتُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ ۚ قُل لَّا تَعْتَذِرُوا لَن نُّؤْمِنَ لَكُمْ قَدْ نَبَّأَنَا اللَّهُ مِنْ أَخْبَارِكُمْ ۚ وَسَيَرَى اللَّهُ عَمَلَكُمْ وَرَسُولُهُ ثُمَّ تُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ عَالِمِ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَйə'тəз̃ируунə илəйкум из̃əə рōджə'тум илəйhим, ќуль-лəə тə'тəз̃ируу лəн-ну`минə лəкум ќōд нəббə`əнəл-лаhу мин əхбəəрикум, вəсəйəрōōл-лаhу 'əмəлəкум вəрōсуулюhу c̃уммə турōддуунə илəə 'əəлимиль-ґōйби вəш-шəhəəдəти фəйунəбби`укумм-бимəə куŋŋтум тə'мəлююн
They will offer you excuses when you return to them. Say, ‘Do not make excuses; we will never believe you. Allah has informed us of your state of affairs. Allah and His Apostle will observe your conduct, then you will be returned to the Knower of the sensible and the Unseen, and He will inform you concerning what you used to do.’ -
9:95
سَيَحْلِفُونَ بِاللَّهِ لَكُمْ إِذَا انقَلَبْتُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ لِتُعْرِضُوا عَنْهُمْ ۖ فَأَعْرِضُوا عَنْهُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ رِجْسٌ ۖ وَمَأْوَاهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ جَزَاءً بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَсəйəhлифуунə биль-лəhи лəкум из̃əə-ŋŋќōлəбтум илəйhим литу'ридуу 'əнhум, фə`ə'ридуу 'əнhум, иннəhум риджс, вəмə`вəəhум джəhəннəму джəзəə`əмм-бимəə кəəнуу йəксибуун
They will swear to you by Allah when you return to them, that you may leave them alone. So leave them alone. They are indeed filth, and their refuge shall be hell, a requital for what they used to earn. -
9:96
يَحْلِفُونَ لَكُمْ لِتَرْضَوْا عَنْهُمْ ۖ فَإِن تَرْضَوْا عَنْهُمْ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَرْضَىٰ عَنِ الْقَوْمِ الْفَاسِقِينَйəhлифуунə лəкум литəрдōу 'əнhум, фə`иŋŋ-тəрдōу 'əнhум фə`иннəл-лаhə лəə йəрдōō 'əниль-ќōумиль-фəəсиќиин
They swear to you that you may be reconciled to them. But even if you are reconciled to them, Allah shall not be reconciled to the transgressing lot. -
9:97
الْأَعْرَابُ أَشَدُّ كُفْرًا وَنِفَاقًا وَأَجْدَرُ أَلَّا يَعْلَمُوا حُدُودَ مَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌəль`ə'рōōбу əшəдду куфрōу-вəнифəəќōу-вə`əдждəру əльлəə йə'лəмуу hудуудə мəə əŋŋзəлəл-лаhу 'əлəə рōсуулиh, вəл-лаhу 'əлиимун həкиим
The Bedouins are more obdurate in unfaith and hypocrisy, and more apt to be ignorant of the precepts that Allah has sent down to His Apostle, and Allah is all-knowing, all-wise. -
9:98
وَمِنَ الْأَعْرَابِ مَن يَتَّخِذُ مَا يُنفِقُ مَغْرَمًا وَيَتَرَبَّصُ بِكُمُ الدَّوَائِرَ ۚ عَلَيْهِمْ دَائِرَةُ السَّوْءِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌвəминəль-ə'рōōби мəй-йəттəхыз̃у мəə йуŋŋфиќу мəґрōмəу-вəйəтəрōббəсу бикумуд-дəвəə`ир, 'əлэйhим дəə`ирōтус-сəу, вəл-лаhу сəмии'ун 'əлиим
Among the Bedouins are those who regard what they spend as a loss, and they watch for a reversal of your fortunes. Theirs shall be an adverse turn of fortune, and Allah is all-hearing, all-knowing. -
9:99
وَمِنَ الْأَعْرَابِ مَن يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَيَتَّخِذُ مَا يُنفِقُ قُرُبَاتٍ عِندَ اللَّهِ وَصَلَوَاتِ الرَّسُولِ ۚ أَلَا إِنَّهَا قُرْبَةٌ لَّهُمْ ۚ سَيُدْخِلُهُمُ اللَّهُ فِي رَحْمَتِهِ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌвəминəль-ə'рōōби мəй-йу`мину биль-лəhи вəəльйəумиль-əəхыри вəйəттəхыз̃у мəə йуŋŋфиќу ќурубəəтин 'иŋŋдəл-лаhи вəсōлəвəəтир-рōсууль, əлəə иннəhəə ќурбəтуль-лəhум, сəйудхылюhумул-лаhу фии рōhмəтиh, иннəл-лаhə ґōфуурур-рōhиим
Yet among the Bedouins are [also] those who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and regard what they spend as [a means of attaining] nearness to Allah and the blessings of the Apostle. Now, it shall indeed bring them nearness, and Allah will admit them into His mercy. Indeed Allah is all-forgiving, all-merciful. -
9:100
وَالسَّابِقُونَ الْأَوَّلُونَ مِنَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَالْأَنصَارِ وَالَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوهُم بِإِحْسَانٍ رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا عَنْهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي تَحْتَهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُвəс-сəəбиќуунəль-əувəлююнə минəль-муhəəджириинə вəəль`əŋŋсōōри вəəльлəз̃иинə-ттəбə'ууhумм-би`иhсəəнир-рōдыйəл-лаhу 'əнhум вəрōдуу 'əнhу вə`ə'əддə лəhум джəннəəтин тəджрии тəhтəhəəль-əнhəəру хōōлидиинə фииhəə əбəдə, з̃əəликəль-фəузуль-'əз̃ыым
The early vanguard of the Emigrants and the Helpers and those who followed them in virtue—Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him, and He has prepared for them gardens with streams running in them, to remain in them forever. That is the great success. -
9:101
وَمِمَّنْ حَوْلَكُم مِّنَ الْأَعْرَابِ مُنَافِقُونَ ۖ وَمِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ۖ مَرَدُوا عَلَى النِّفَاقِ لَا تَعْلَمُهُمْ ۖ نَحْنُ نَعْلَمُهُمْ ۚ سَنُعَذِّبُهُم مَّرَّتَيْنِ ثُمَّ يُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ عَذَابٍ عَظِيمٍвəмиммəн həулəкум-минəль-ə'рōōби мунəəфиќуун, вəмин əhлиль-мəдиинəh, мəрōдуу 'əлəəн-нифəəќи лəə тə'лəмуhум, нəhну нə'лəмуhум, сəну'əз̃з̃ибуhум-мəррōтəйни c̃уммə йурōддуунə илəə 'əз̃əəбин 'əз̃ыым
There are hypocrites among the Bedouins around you and among the townspeople of Madinah, steeped in hypocrisy. You do not know them; We know them, and We will punish them twice, then they shall be consigned to a great punishment. -
9:102
وَآخَرُونَ اعْتَرَفُوا بِذُنُوبِهِمْ خَلَطُوا عَمَلًا صَالِحًا وَآخَرَ سَيِّئًا عَسَى اللَّهُ أَن يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌвə`əəхōруунə-'тəрōфуу биз̃унуубиhим хōлəтуу 'əмəлəн сōōлиhəу-вə`əəхōрō сəййи`əн 'əсəл-лаhу əй-йəтуубə 'əлэйhим, иннəл-лаhə ґōфуурур-рōhиим
[There are] others who have confessed to their sins, having mixed up righteous conduct with other that was evil. Maybe Allah will accept their repentance. Indeed Allah is all-forgiving, all-merciful. -
9:103
خُذْ مِنْ أَمْوَالِهِمْ صَدَقَةً تُطَهِّرُهُمْ وَتُزَكِّيهِم بِهَا وَصَلِّ عَلَيْهِمْ ۖ إِنَّ صَلَاتَكَ سَكَنٌ لَّهُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌхуз̃ мин əмвəəлиhим сōдəќōтəн тутōhhируhум вəтузəккииhимм-биhəə вəсōлли 'əлэйhим, иннə сōлəəтəкə сəкəнуль-лəhум, вəл-лаhу сəмии'ун 'əлиим
Take charity from their possessions to cleanse them and purify them thereby, and bless them. Indeed your blessing is a comfort to them, and Allah is all-hearing, all-knowing. -
9:104
أَلَمْ يَعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ يَقْبَلُ التَّوْبَةَ عَنْ عِبَادِهِ وَيَأْخُذُ الصَّدَقَاتِ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُəлəм йə'лəмуу əннəл-лаhə hувə йəќбəлют-тəубəтə 'əн 'ибəəдиhи вəйə`хуз̃ус-сōдəќōōти вə`əннəл-лаhə hувəт-тəувəəбур-рōhиим
Do they not know that it is Allah who accepts the repentance of His servants and receives the charities, and that it is Allah who is the All-clement, the All-merciful? -
9:105
وَقُلِ اعْمَلُوا فَسَيَرَى اللَّهُ عَمَلَكُمْ وَرَسُولُهُ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ ۖ وَسَتُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ عَالِمِ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَвəќули-'мəлюю фəсəйəрōōл-лаhу 'əмəлəкум вəрōсуулюhу вəəльму`минуун, вəсəтурōддуунə илəə 'əəлимиль-ґōйби вəш-шəhəəдəти фəйунəбби`укумм-бимəə куŋŋтум тə'мəлююн
And say, ‘Go on working: Allah will see your conduct, and His Apostle and the faithful [as well], and you will be returned to the Knower of the sensible and the Unseen, and He will inform you concerning what you used to do. -
9:106
وَآخَرُونَ مُرْجَوْنَ لِأَمْرِ اللَّهِ إِمَّا يُعَذِّبُهُمْ وَإِمَّا يَتُوبُ عَلَيْهِمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌвə`əəхōруунə мурджəунə ли`əмриль-лəhи иммəə йу'əз̃з̃ибуhум вə`иммəə йəтуубу 'əлэйhим, вəл-лаhу 'əлиимун həкиим
[There are] others waiting Allah’s edict: either He shall punish them, or turn to them clemently, and Allah is all-knowing, all-wise. -
9:107
وَالَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا مَسْجِدًا ضِرَارًا وَكُفْرًا وَتَفْرِيقًا بَيْنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَإِرْصَادًا لِّمَنْ حَارَبَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ مِن قَبْلُ ۚ وَلَيَحْلِفُنَّ إِنْ أَرَدْنَا إِلَّا الْحُسْنَىٰ ۖ وَاللَّهُ يَشْهَدُ إِنَّهُمْ لَكَاذِبُونَвəəльлəз̃иинə-ттəхōз̃уу мəсджидəн дырōōрōу-вəкуфрōу-вəтəфрииќōмм-бэйнəль-му`миниинə вə`ирсōōдəл-лимəн həəрōбəл-лаhə вəрōсуулəhу миŋŋ-ќōбль, вəлəйəhлифуннə ин əрōднəə ильлəəль-hуснəə, вəл-лаhу йəшhəду иннəhум лəкəəз̃ибуун
As for those who took to a mosque for sabotage and for defiance, and to cause division among the faithful, and for the purpose of ambush [used] by those who have fought Allah and His Apostle before—they will surely swear, ‘We desired nothing but good,’ and Allah bears witness that they are indeed liars. -
9:108
لَا تَقُمْ فِيهِ أَبَدًا ۚ لَّمَسْجِدٌ أُسِّسَ عَلَى التَّقْوَىٰ مِنْ أَوَّلِ يَوْمٍ أَحَقُّ أَن تَقُومَ فِيهِ ۚ فِيهِ رِجَالٌ يُحِبُّونَ أَن يَتَطَهَّرُوا ۚ وَاللَّهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُطَّهِّرِينَлəə тəќум фииhи əбəдə, лəмəсджидун уссисə 'əлəəт-тəќвəə мин əувəли йəумин əhəќќу əŋŋ-тəќуумə фииh, фииhи риджəəлюй-йуhиббуунə əй-йəтəтōhhəруу, вəл-лаhу йуhиббуль-муттōhhириин
Do not stand in it ever! A mosque founded on Godwariness from the [very] first day is worthier that you stand in it [for prayer]. Therein are men who love to keep pure, and Allah loves those who keep pure. -
9:109
أَفَمَنْ أَسَّسَ بُنْيَانَهُ عَلَىٰ تَقْوَىٰ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَرِضْوَانٍ خَيْرٌ أَم مَّنْ أَسَّسَ بُنْيَانَهُ عَلَىٰ شَفَا جُرُفٍ هَارٍ فَانْهَارَ بِهِ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ ۗ وَاللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَəфəмəн əссəсə бунйəəнəhу 'əлəə тəќвəə минəл-лаhи вəридвəəнин хōйрун əм-мəн əссəсə бунйəəнəhу 'əлəə шəфəə джуруфин həəрин фəəнhəəрō биhи фии нəəри джəhəннəм, вəл-лаhу лəə йəhдииль-ќōумəз̃-з̃ōōлимиин
Is he who founds his building on Godwariness and [the pursuit of Allah’s] pleasure better-off or he who founds his building on the brink of a collapsing bank which collapses with him into the fire of hell? Allah does not guide the wrongdoing lot. -
9:110
لَا يَزَالُ بُنْيَانُهُمُ الَّذِي بَنَوْا رِيبَةً فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ إِلَّا أَن تَقَطَّعَ قُلُوبُهُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌлəə йəзəəлю бунйəəнуhумуль-лəз̃ии бəнəу риибəтəн фии ќулююбиhим ильлəə əŋŋ-тəќōттō'ə ќулююбуhум, вəл-лаhу 'əлиимун həкиим
The building they have built will never cease to be [a source of] disquiet in their hearts until their hearts are cut into pieces, and Allah is all-knowing, all-wise. -
9:111
۞ إِنَّ اللَّهَ اشْتَرَىٰ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَأَمْوَالَهُم بِأَنَّ لَهُمُ الْجَنَّةَ ۚ يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَيَقْتُلُونَ وَيُقْتَلُونَ ۖ وَعْدًا عَلَيْهِ حَقًّا فِي التَّوْرَاةِ وَالْإِنجِيلِ وَالْقُرْآنِ ۚ وَمَنْ أَوْفَىٰ بِعَهْدِهِ مِنَ اللَّهِ ۚ فَاسْتَبْشِرُوا بِبَيْعِكُمُ الَّذِي بَايَعْتُم بِهِ ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُиннəл-лаhə-штəрōō минəль-му`миниинə əŋŋфусəhум вə`əмвəəлəhумм-би`əннə лəhумуль-джəннəh, йуќōōтилююнə фии сəбиилиль-лəhи фəйəќтулююнə вəйуќтəлююн, вə'дəн 'əлэйhи həќќōн фиит-тəурōōти вəəль`иŋŋджиили вəəльќур`əəн, вəмəн əуфəə би'əhдиhи минəл-лаh, фəəстəбшируу бибəй'икумуль-лəз̃ии бəəйə'тумм-биh, вəз̃əəликə hувəль-фəузуль-'əз̃ыым
Indeed Allah has bought from the faithful their souls and their possessions for paradise to be theirs: they fight in the way of Allah, kill, and are killed. A promise binding upon Him in the Torah and the Evangel and the Quran. And who is truer to his promise than Allah? So rejoice in the bargain you have made with Him, and that is the great success. -
9:112
التَّائِبُونَ الْعَابِدُونَ الْحَامِدُونَ السَّائِحُونَ الرَّاكِعُونَ السَّاجِدُونَ الْآمِرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَالنَّاهُونَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَالْحَافِظُونَ لِحُدُودِ اللَّهِ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَəттəə`ибуунəль-'əəбидуунəль-həəмидуунəс-сəə`иhуунəр-рōōки'уунəс-сəəджидуунəль-əəмируунə би-ль-мə'рууфи вəн-нəəhуунə 'əниль-муŋŋкəри вəəльhəəфиз̃уунə лиhудуудиль-лəh, вəбəшшириль-му`миниин
[The faithful are] penitent, devout, celebrators of Allah’s praise, wayfarers, who bow [and] prostrate [in prayer], bid what is right and forbid what is wrong, and keep Allah’s bounds—and give good news to the faithful. -
9:113
مَا كَانَ لِلنَّبِيِّ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَن يَسْتَغْفِرُوا لِلْمُشْرِكِينَ وَلَوْ كَانُوا أُولِي قُرْبَىٰ مِن بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمْ أَنَّهُمْ أَصْحَابُ الْجَحِيمِмəə кəəнə лин-нəбиййи вəəльлəз̃иинə əəмəнуу əй-йəстəґфируу ли-ль-мушрикиинə вəлəу кəəнуу уулии ќурбəə мимм-бə'ди мəə тəбэййəнə лəhум əннəhум əсhəəбуль-джəhиим
The Prophet and the faithful may not plead for the forgiveness of the polytheists, even if they should be [their] relatives, after it has become clear to them that they will be the inmates of hell.
