  • 15:81
    وَآتَيْنَاهُمْ آيَاتِنَا فَكَانُوا عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ

    вə`əəтəйнəəhум əəйəəтинəə фəкəəнуу 'əнhəə му'ридыын

    We had given them Our signs but they disregarded them.

    وَكَانُوا يَنْحِتُونَ مِنَ الْجِبَالِ بُيُوتًا آمِنِينَ

    вəкəəнуу йəнhитуунə минəль-джибəəли буйуутəн əəминиин

    They used to hew out dwellings from mountains feeling secure.

    فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّيْحَةُ مُصْبِحِينَ

    фə`əхōз̃əтhумус-сōйhəту мусбиhиин

    So the Cry seized them at dawn,

    فَمَا أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ

    and what they used to earn did not avail them.

    وَمَا خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ  ۗ وَإِنَّ السَّاعَةَ لَآتِيَةٌ  ۖ فَاصْفَحِ الصَّفْحَ الْجَمِيلَ

    вəмəə хōлəќнəəс-сəмəəвəəти вəəль`əрдō вəмəə бэйнəhумəə ильлəə би-ль-həќќ, вə`иннəс-сəə'əтə лə`əəтийəh, фəəсфəhис-сōфhəль-джəмииль

    We did not create the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them except with consummate wisdom, and indeed the Hour is bound to come. So forbear with a graceful forbearance.

    إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ الْخَلَّاقُ الْعَلِيمُ

    иннə рōббəкə hувəль-хōльлəəќуль-'əлиим

    Indeed your Lord is the All-creator, the All-knowing.

    وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَاكَ سَبْعًا مِّنَ الْمَثَانِي وَالْقُرْآنَ الْعَظِيمَ

    вəлəќōд əəтəйнəəкə сəб'əмм-минəль-мəc̃əəнии вəəльќур`əəнəль-'əз̃ыым

    Certainly We have given you [the surah of] the seven oft-repeated verses and the great Quran.

    لَا تَمُدَّنَّ عَيْنَيْكَ إِلَىٰ مَا مَتَّعْنَا بِهِ أَزْوَاجًا مِّنْهُمْ وَلَا تَحْزَنْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَاخْفِضْ جَنَاحَكَ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

    лəə тəмуддəннə 'əйнəйкə илəə мəə мəттə'нəə биhи əзвəəджəмм-минhум вəлəə тəhзəн 'əлэйhим вəəхфид джəнəəhəкə ли-ль-му`миниин

    Do not extend your glance toward what We have provided to certain groups of them, and do not grieve for them, and lower your wing to the faithful,

    وَقُلْ إِنِّي أَنَا النَّذِيرُ الْمُبِينُ

    вəќуль иннии əнəəн-нəз̃иируль-мубиин

    and say, ‘I am indeed a manifest warner [of punishment from God],’

    كَمَا أَنزَلْنَا عَلَى الْمُقْتَسِمِينَ

    кəмəə əŋŋзəльнəə 'əлəəль-муќтəсимиин

    like that We sent down upon those who split into bands,

    الَّذِينَ جَعَلُوا الْقُرْآنَ عِضِينَ

    əльлəз̃иинə джə'əлююль-ќур`əəнə 'идыын

    who represented the Quran as magic.

    فَوَرَبِّكَ لَنَسْأَلَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

    фəвəрōббикə лəнəс`əлəннəhум əджмə'иин

    By your Lord, We will question them all

    عَمَّا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ

    'əммəə кəəнуу йə'мəлююн

    concerning what they used to do.

    فَاصْدَعْ بِمَا تُؤْمَرُ وَأَعْرِضْ عَنِ الْمُشْرِكِينَ

    фəəсдə' бимəə ту`мəру вə`ə'рид 'əниль-мушрикиин

    So proclaim what you have been commanded, and turn away from the polytheists.

    إِنَّا كَفَيْنَاكَ الْمُسْتَهْزِئِينَ

    иннəə кəфəйнəəкəль-мустəhзи`иин

    Indeed We will suffice you against the deriders

  • 15:96
    الَّذِينَ يَجْعَلُونَ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَـٰهًا آخَرَ  ۚ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ

    əльлəз̃иинə йəдж'əлююнə мə'əл-лаhи илəəhəн əəхōр, фəсəуфə йə'лəмуун

    —those who set up another deity besides Allah. Soon they will know!

    وَلَقَدْ نَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ يَضِيقُ صَدْرُكَ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ

    вəлəќōд нə'лəму əннəкə йəдыыќу сōдрукə бимəə йəќуулююн

    Certainly We know that you become upset because of what they say.

    فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ وَكُن مِّنَ السَّاجِدِينَ

    фəсəббиh биhəмди рōббикə вəкумм-минəс-сəəджидиин

    So celebrate the praise of your Lord and be among those who prostrate,

  • 15:99
    وَاعْبُدْ رَبَّكَ حَتَّىٰ يَأْتِيَكَ الْيَقِينُ

    вəə'буд рōббəкə həттəə йə`тийəкəль-йəќиин

    and worship your Lord until certainty comes to you.

  • 16:1
    أَتَىٰ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ فَلَا تَسْتَعْجِلُوهُ  ۚ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ

    əтəə əмрул-лаhи фəлəə тəстə'джилююhу субhəəнəhу вəтə'əəлəə 'əммəə йушрикуун

    Allah’s edict is coming! So do not seek to hasten it. Immaculate is He and exalted above [having] any partners that they ascribe [to Him].
