16:102
قُلْ نَزَّلَهُ رُوحُ الْقُدُسِ مِن رَّبِّكَ بِالْحَقِّ لِيُثَبِّتَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَهُدًى وَبُشْرَىٰ لِلْمُسْلِمِينَќуль нəззəлəhу рууhуль-ќудуси мир-рōббикə би-ль-həќќи лийуc̃əббитəль-лəз̃иинə əəмəнуу вəhудəу-вəбушрōō ли-ль-муслимиин
Say, the Holy Spirit has brought it down duly from your Lord to fortify those who have faith and as guidance and good news for the Muslims. -
16:103
وَلَقَدْ نَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُمْ يَقُولُونَ إِنَّمَا يُعَلِّمُهُ بَشَرٌ ۗ لِّسَانُ الَّذِي يُلْحِدُونَ إِلَيْهِ أَعْجَمِيٌّ وَهَـٰذَا لِسَانٌ عَرَبِيٌّ مُّبِينٌвəлəќōд нə'лəму əннəhум йəќуулююнə иннəмəə йу'əллимуhу бəшəр, лисəəнуль-лəз̃ии йульhидуунə илəйhи ə'джəмиййуу-вəhəəз̃əə лисəəнун 'əрōбиййумм-мубиин
We certainly know that they say, ‘It is only a human that instructs him.’ The language of him to whom they refer is non-Arabic, while this is a clear Arabic language. -
16:104
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ لَا يَهْدِيهِمُ اللَّهُ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌиннəль-лəз̃иинə лəə йу`минуунə би`əəйəəтиль-лəhи лəə йəhдииhимул-лаhу вəлəhум 'əз̃əəбун əлиим
Indeed those who do not believe in the signs of Allah—Allah shall not guide them and there is a painful punishment for them. -
16:105
إِنَّمَا يَفْتَرِي الْكَذِبَ الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ ۖ وَأُولَـٰئِكَ هُمُ الْكَاذِبُونَиннəмəə йəфтəрииль-кəз̃ибəль-лəз̃иинə лəə йу`минуунə би`əəйəəтиль-лəh, вə`уулəə`икə hумуль-кəəз̃ибуун
Only those fabricate lies who do not believe in the signs of Allah, and it is they who are the liars. -
16:106
مَن كَفَرَ بِاللَّهِ مِن بَعْدِ إِيمَانِهِ إِلَّا مَنْ أُكْرِهَ وَقَلْبُهُ مُطْمَئِنٌّ بِالْإِيمَانِ وَلَـٰكِن مَّن شَرَحَ بِالْكُفْرِ صَدْرًا فَعَلَيْهِمْ غَضَبٌ مِّنَ اللَّهِ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌмəŋŋ-кəфəрō биль-лəhи мимм-бə'ди иимəəниhи ильлəə мəн укриhə вəќōльбуhу мутмə`иннумм-би-ль-иимəəни вəлəəкимм-мəŋŋ-шəрōhə би-ль-куфри сōдрōн фə'əлэйhим ґōдōбумм-минəл-лаhи вəлəhум 'əз̃əəбун 'əз̃ыым
Excepting someone who is compelled [to recant his faith] while his heart is at rest in it, those who disbelieve in Allah after [affirming] their faith and open up their breasts to unfaith, Allah’s wrath shall be upon them and there is a great punishment for them. -
16:107
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمُ اسْتَحَبُّوا الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا عَلَى الْآخِرَةِ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْكَافِرِينَз̃əəликə би`əннəhуму-стəhəббууль-həйəəтəд-дунйəə 'əлəəль-əəхырōти вə`əннəл-лаhə лəə йəhдииль-ќōумəль-кəəфириин
That, because they preferred the life of the world to the Hereafter and that Allah does not guide the faithless lot. -
16:108
أُولَـٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ طَبَعَ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ وَسَمْعِهِمْ وَأَبْصَارِهِمْ ۖ وَأُولَـٰئِكَ هُمُ الْغَافِلُونَуулəə`икəль-лəз̃иинə тōбə'əл-лаhу 'əлəə ќулююбиhим вəсəм'иhим вə`əбсōōриhим, вə`уулəə`икə hумуль-ґōōфилююн
They are the ones Allah has set a seal on their hearts, their hearing and their sight, and it is they who are the heedless. -
16:110
ثُمَّ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لِلَّذِينَ هَاجَرُوا مِن بَعْدِ مَا فُتِنُوا ثُمَّ جَاهَدُوا وَصَبَرُوا إِنَّ رَبَّكَ مِن بَعْدِهَا لَغَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌc̃уммə иннə рōббəкə лильлəз̃иинə həəджəруу мимм-бə'ди мəə футинуу c̃уммə джəəhəдуу вəсōбəруу иннə рōббəкə мимм-бə'диhəə лəґōфуурур-рōhиим
Thereafter your Lord will indeed be forgiving and merciful to those who migrated after they were persecuted, waged jihad and remained steadfast. -
16:111
۞ يَوْمَ تَأْتِي كُلُّ نَفْسٍ تُجَادِلُ عَن نَّفْسِهَا وَتُوَفَّىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا عَمِلَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَйəумə тə`тии куллю нəфсин туджəəдилю 'əн-нəфсиhəə вəтувəффəə куллю нəфсимм-мəə 'əмилəт вəhум лəə йуз̃лəмуун
The day [will come] when every soul will come pleading for itself and every soul will be recompensed fully for what it has done, and they will not be wronged. -
16:112
وَضَرَبَ اللَّهُ مَثَلًا قَرْيَةً كَانَتْ آمِنَةً مُّطْمَئِنَّةً يَأْتِيهَا رِزْقُهَا رَغَدًا مِّن كُلِّ مَكَانٍ فَكَفَرَتْ بِأَنْعُمِ اللَّهِ فَأَذَاقَهَا اللَّهُ لِبَاسَ الْجُوعِ وَالْخَوْفِ بِمَا كَانُوا يَصْنَعُونَвəдōрōбəл-лаhу мəc̃əлəн ќōрйəтəн кəəнəт əəминəтəмм-мутмə`иннəтəй-йə`тииhəə ризќуhəə рōґōдəмм-миŋŋ-кулли мəкəəнин фəкəфəрōт би`əн'умиль-лəhи фə`əз̃əəќōhəл-лаhу либəəсəль-джуу'и вəəльхōуфи бимəə кəəнуу йəснə'уун
Allah draws a parable: There was a town secure and peaceful, its provision coming abundantly from every place. But it was ungrateful toward Allah’s blessings. So Allah made it taste hunger and fear because of what they used to do. -
16:113
وَلَقَدْ جَاءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ مِّنْهُمْ فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَخَذَهُمُ الْعَذَابُ وَهُمْ ظَالِمُونَвəлəќōд джəə`əhум рōсуулюмм-минhум фəкəз̃з̃əбууhу фə`əхōз̃əhумуль-'əз̃əəбу вəhум з̃ōōлимуун
Certainly there had come to them an apostle from among themselves, but they impugned him. So the punishment seized them while they were doing wrong. -
16:114
فَكُلُوا مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ اللَّهُ حَلَالًا طَيِّبًا وَاشْكُرُوا نِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ إِن كُنتُمْ إِيَّاهُ تَعْبُدُونَфəкулюю миммəə рōзəќōкумул-лаhу həлəəлəн тōййибəу-вəəшкуруу ни'мəтəл-лаhи иŋŋ-куŋŋтум иййəəhу тə'будуун
So eat out of what Allah has provided you as lawful and good, and give thanks for Allah’s blessing, if it is Him that you worship. -
16:115
إِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَيْتَةَ وَالدَّمَ وَلَحْمَ الْخِنزِيرِ وَمَا أُهِلَّ لِغَيْرِ اللَّهِ بِهِ ۖ فَمَنِ اضْطُرَّ غَيْرَ بَاغٍ وَلَا عَادٍ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌиннəмəə həррōмə 'əлэйкумуль-мəйтəтə вəд-дəмə вəлəhмəль-хыŋŋзиири вəмəə уhильлə лиґōйриль-лəhи биh, фəмəни-дтуррō ґōйрō бəəґиу-вəлəə 'əəдин фə`иннəл-лаhə ґōфуурур-рōhиим
He has forbidden you only carrion, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been offered to other than Allah. But if someone is compelled [to eat any of that], without being rebellious or aggressive, indeed Allah is all-forgiving, all-merciful. -
16:116
وَلَا تَقُولُوا لِمَا تَصِفُ أَلْسِنَتُكُمُ الْكَذِبَ هَـٰذَا حَلَالٌ وَهَـٰذَا حَرَامٌ لِّتَفْتَرُوا عَلَى اللَّهِ الْكَذِبَ ۚ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَى اللَّهِ الْكَذِبَ لَا يُفْلِحُونَвəлəə тəќуулюю лимəə тəсыфу əльсинəтукумуль-кəз̃ибə həəз̃əə həлəəлюу-вəhəəз̃əə həрōōмул-литəфтəруу 'əлəл-лаhиль-кəз̃иб, иннəль-лəз̃иинə йəфтəруунə 'əлəл-лаhиль-кəз̃ибə лəə йуфлиhуун
Do not say, asserting falsely with your tongues, ‘This is lawful, and that is unlawful,’ attributing lies to Allah. Indeed those who attribute lies to Allah will not be felicitous. -
16:118
وَعَلَى الَّذِينَ هَادُوا حَرَّمْنَا مَا قَصَصْنَا عَلَيْكَ مِن قَبْلُ ۖ وَمَا ظَلَمْنَاهُمْ وَلَـٰكِن كَانُوا أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَвə'əлəəль-лəз̃иинə həəдуу həррōмнəə мəə ќōсōснəə 'əлэйкə миŋŋ-ќōбль, вəмəə з̃ōлəмнəəhум вəлəəкиŋŋ-кəəнуу əŋŋфусəhум йəз̃лимуун
We forbade to the Jews what We have recounted to you earlier, and We did not wrong them, but they used to wrong themselves. -
16:119
ثُمَّ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لِلَّذِينَ عَمِلُوا السُّوءَ بِجَهَالَةٍ ثُمَّ تَابُوا مِن بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ وَأَصْلَحُوا إِنَّ رَبَّكَ مِن بَعْدِهَا لَغَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌc̃уммə иннə рōббəкə лильлəз̃иинə 'əмилююс-суу`ə биджəhəəлəтин c̃уммə тəəбуу мимм-бə'ди з̃əəликə вə`əслəhуу иннə рōббəкə мимм-бə'диhəə лəґōфуурур-рōhиим
Moreover, your Lord will indeed be forgiving and merciful to those who repent after they having committed evil out of ignorance and reform themselves.
