  • 3:27

    تُولِجُ اللَّيْلَ فِي النَّهَارِ وَتُولِجُ النَّهَارَ فِي اللَّيْلِ  ۖ وَتُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ وَتُخْرِجُ الْمَيِّتَ مِنَ الْحَيِّ  ۖ وَتَرْزُقُ مَن تَشَاءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ

    туулиджуль-лэйлə фиин-нəhəəри вəтуулиджун-нəhəəрō фииль-лэйль, вəтухриджуль-həййə минəль-мəййити вəтухриджуль-мəййитə минəль-həйй, вəтəрзуќу мəŋŋ-тəшəə`у биґōйри hисəəб

    ‘You make the night pass into the day and You make the day pass into the night. You bring forth the living from the dead and You bring forth the dead from the living, and You provide for whomever You wish without any reckoning.’
  • 3:28

    لَّا يَتَّخِذِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الْكَافِرِينَ أَوْلِيَاءَ مِن دُونِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ  ۖ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَ‌ٰلِكَ فَلَيْسَ مِنَ اللَّهِ فِي شَيْءٍ إِلَّا أَن تَتَّقُوا مِنْهُمْ تُقَاةً  ۗ وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ اللَّهُ نَفْسَهُ  ۗ وَإِلَى اللَّهِ الْمَصِيرُ

    лəə йəттəхыз̃иль-му`минуунəль-кəəфириинə əулийəə`ə миŋŋ-дууниль-му`миниин, вəмəй-йəф'əль з̃əəликə фəлэйсə минəл-лаhи фии шэй`ин ильлəə əŋŋ-тəттəќуу минhум туќōōh, вəйуhəз̃з̃ирукумул-лаhу нəфсəh, вə`илəл-лаhиль-мəсыыр

    The faithful should not take the faithless for allies instead of the faithful, and Allah will have nothing to do with those who do that, except when you are wary of them, out of caution. Allah warns you to beware of [disobeying] Him, and toward Allah is the return.
  • 3:29

    قُلْ إِن تُخْفُوا مَا فِي صُدُورِكُمْ أَوْ تُبْدُوهُ يَعْلَمْهُ اللَّهُ  ۗ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ  ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

    ќуль иŋŋ-тухфуу мəə фии судуурикум əу тубдууhу йə'лəмhул-лаh, вəйə'лəму мəə фиис-сəмəəвəəти вəмəə фииль-əрд, вəл-лаhу 'əлəə кулли шэй`ин ќōдиир

    Say, ‘Whether you hide what is in your hearts or disclose it, Allah knows it, and He knows whatever there is in the heavens and whatever there is in the earth; and Allah has power over all things.’
  • 3:30

    يَوْمَ تَجِدُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا عَمِلَتْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ مُّحْضَرًا وَمَا عَمِلَتْ مِن سُوءٍ تَوَدُّ لَوْ أَنَّ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَهُ أَمَدًا بَعِيدًا  ۗ وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ اللَّهُ نَفْسَهُ  ۗ وَاللَّهُ رَءُوفٌ بِالْعِبَادِ

    йəумə тəджиду куллю нəфсимм-мəə 'əмилəт мин хōйримм-муhдōрōу-вəмəə 'əмилəт миŋŋ-суу`ин тəвəдду лəу əннə бэйнəhəə вəбэйнəhу əмəдəмм-бə'иидə, вəйуhəз̃з̃ирукумул-лаhу нəфсəh, вəл-лаhу рō`ууфумм-би-ль-'ибəəд

    The day when every soul will find present whatever good it has done; and as for the evil, it has done, it will wish there were a far distance between it and itself. Allah warns you to beware of [disobeying] Him, and Allah is most kind to [His] servants.
  • 3:31

    قُلْ إِن كُنتُمْ تُحِبُّونَ اللَّهَ فَاتَّبِعُونِي يُحْبِبْكُمُ اللَّهُ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ  ۗ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ

    ќуль иŋŋ-куŋŋтум туhиббуунəл-лаhə фəəттəби'уунии йуhбибкумул-лаhу вəйəґфир лəкум з̃унуубəкум, вəл-лаhу ґōфуурур-рōhиим

    Say, ‘If you love Allah, then follow me; Allah will love you and forgive you your sins, and Allah is all-forgiving, all-merciful.’
  • 3:32

    قُلْ أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَالرَّسُولَ  ۖ فَإِن تَوَلَّوْا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْكَافِرِينَ

    ќуль əтыы'уул-лаhə вəр-рōсууль, фə`иŋŋ-тəвəльлəу фə`иннəл-лаhə лəə йуhиббуль-кəəфириин

    Say, ‘Obey Allah and the Apostle.’ But if they turn away, indeed Allah does not like the faithless.
  • 3:33

     ۞ إِنَّ اللَّهَ اصْطَفَىٰ آدَمَ وَنُوحًا وَآلَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَآلَ عِمْرَانَ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ

    иннəл-лаhə-стōфəə əəдəмə вəнууhəу-вə`əəлə ибрōōhиимə вə`əəлə 'имрōōнə 'əлəəль-'əəлəмиин

    Indeed Allah chose Adam and Noah, and the progeny of Abraham and the progeny of Imran above all the nations;
  • 3:34

    ذُرِّيَّةً بَعْضُهَا مِن بَعْضٍ  ۗ وَاللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ

    з̃урриййəтəмм-бə'дуhəə мимм-бə'д, вəл-лаhу сəмии'ун 'əлиим

    some of them are descendants of the others, and Allah is all-hearing, all-knowing.
  • 3:35

    إِذْ قَالَتِ امْرَأَتُ عِمْرَانَ رَبِّ إِنِّي نَذَرْتُ لَكَ مَا فِي بَطْنِي مُحَرَّرًا فَتَقَبَّلْ مِنِّي  ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ

    из̃ ќōōлəти-мрō`əту 'имрōōнə рōбби иннии нəз̃əрту лəкə мəə фии бəтнии муhəррōрōн фəтəќōббəль минний, иннəкə əŋŋтəс-сəмии'уль-'əлиим

    When the wife of Imran said, ‘My Lord, I dedicate to You in consecration what is in my belly. Accept it from me; indeed You are the All-hearing, the All-knowing.’
  • 3:36

    فَلَمَّا وَضَعَتْهَا قَالَتْ رَبِّ إِنِّي وَضَعْتُهَا أُنثَىٰ وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا وَضَعَتْ وَلَيْسَ الذَّكَرُ كَالْأُنثَىٰ  ۖ وَإِنِّي سَمَّيْتُهَا مَرْيَمَ وَإِنِّي أُعِيذُهَا بِكَ وَذُرِّيَّتَهَا مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ

    фəлəммəə вəдō'əтhəə ќōōлəт рōбби иннии вəдō'туhəə уŋŋc̃əə вəл-лаhу ə'лəму бимəə вəдō'əт вəлэйсəз̃-з̃əкəру кəəль`уŋŋc̃əə, вə`иннии сəммəйтуhəə мəрйəмə вə`иннии у'ииз̃уhəə бикə вəз̃урриййəтəhəə минəш-шэйтōōнир-рōджиим

    When she bore her, she said, ‘My Lord, I have borne a female [child]’—and Allah knew better what she had borne, and the male [child she expected] was no match for the female [child she had borne] —‘and I have named her Mary, and I commend her and her offspring to Your care against [the evil of] the outcast Satan.’
  • 3:37

    فَتَقَبَّلَهَا رَبُّهَا بِقَبُولٍ حَسَنٍ وَأَنبَتَهَا نَبَاتًا حَسَنًا وَكَفَّلَهَا زَكَرِيَّا  ۖ كُلَّمَا دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا زَكَرِيَّا الْمِحْرَابَ وَجَدَ عِندَهَا رِزْقًا  ۖ قَالَ يَا مَرْيَمُ أَنَّىٰ لَكِ هَـٰذَا  ۖ قَالَتْ هُوَ مِنْ عِندِ اللَّهِ  ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَرْزُقُ مَن يَشَاءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ

    фəтəќōббəлəhəə рōббуhəə биќōбуулин həсəниу-вə`əмм-бəтəhəə нəбəəтəн həсəнəу-вəкəффəлəhəə зəкəриййəə, кульлəмəə дəхōлə 'əлэйhəə зəкəриййəəль-миhрōōбə вəджəдə 'иŋŋдəhəə ризќō, ќōōлə йəə мəрйəму əннəə лəки həəз̃əə, ќōōлəт hувə мин 'иŋŋдиль-лəh, иннəл-лаhə йəрзуќу мəй-йəшəə`у биґōйри hисəəб

    Thereupon her Lord accepted her with a gracious acceptance, and made her grow up in a worthy fashion, and He charged Zechariah with her care. Whenever Zechariah visited her in the sanctuary, he would find provisions with her. He said, ‘O Mary, from where does this come for you?’ She said, ‘It comes from Allah. Allah provides whomever He wishes without any reckoning.’
  • 3:38

    هُنَالِكَ دَعَا زَكَرِيَّا رَبَّهُ  ۖ قَالَ رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِن لَّدُنكَ ذُرِّيَّةً طَيِّبَةً  ۖ إِنَّكَ سَمِيعُ الدُّعَاءِ

    hунəəликə дə'əə зəкəриййəə рōббəh, ќōōлə рōбби həб лии миль-лəдуŋŋкə з̃урриййəтəн тōййибəh, иннəкə сəмии'уд-ду'əə

    Thereat Zechariah supplicated his Lord. He said, ‘My Lord! Grant me a good offspring from You! Indeed You hear all supplications.’
  • 3:39

    فَنَادَتْهُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ يُصَلِّي فِي الْمِحْرَابِ أَنَّ اللَّهَ يُبَشِّرُكَ بِيَحْيَىٰ مُصَدِّقًا بِكَلِمَةٍ مِّنَ اللَّهِ وَسَيِّدًا وَحَصُورًا وَنَبِيًّا مِّنَ الصَّالِحِينَ

    фəнəəдəтhуль-мəлəə`икəту вəhувə ќōō`имуй-йусōллии фииль-миhрōōби əннəл-лаhə йубəшширукə бийəhйəə мусōддиќōмм-бикəлимəтимм-минəл-лаhи вəсəййидəу-вəhəсуурōу-вəнəбиййəмм-минəс-сōōлиhиин

    Then, as he stood praying in the sanctuary the angels called out to him: ‘Allah gives you the good news of John, as a confirmer of a Word of Allah, eminent and chaste, a prophet, and one of the righteous.’
  • 3:40

    قَالَ رَبِّ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لِي غُلَامٌ وَقَدْ بَلَغَنِيَ الْكِبَرُ وَامْرَأَتِي عَاقِرٌ  ۖ قَالَ كَذَ‌ٰلِكَ اللَّهُ يَفْعَلُ مَا يَشَاءُ

    ќōōлə рōбби əннəə йəкууну лии ґулəəмуу-вəќōд бəлəґōнийəль-кибəру вəəмрō`əтии 'əəќир, ќōōлə кəз̃əəликəл-лаhу йəф'əлю мəə йəшəə

    He said, ‘My Lord, how shall I have a son while old age has overtaken me and my wife is barren?’ Said He, ‘So it is that Allah does whatever He wishes.’
  • 3:41

    قَالَ رَبِّ اجْعَل لِّي آيَةً  ۖ قَالَ آيَتُكَ أَلَّا تُكَلِّمَ النَّاسَ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ إِلَّا رَمْزًا  ۗ وَاذْكُر رَّبَّكَ كَثِيرًا وَسَبِّحْ بِالْعَشِيِّ وَالْإِبْكَارِ

    ќōōлə рōбби-дж'əл-лии əəйəh, ќōōлə əəйəтукə əльлəə тукəллимəн-нəəсə c̃əлəəc̃əтə əййəəмин ильлəə рōмзə, вəəз̃кур-рōббəкə кəc̃иирōу-вəсəббиh би-ль-'əшиййи вəəль`ибкəəр

    He said, ‘My Lord, grant me a sign.’ Said He, ‘Your sign is that you will not speak to people for three days except in gestures. Remember Your Lord much, and glorify Him morning and evening.’
  • 3:42

    وَإِذْ قَالَتِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ يَا مَرْيَمُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ اصْطَفَاكِ وَطَهَّرَكِ وَاصْطَفَاكِ عَلَىٰ نِسَاءِ الْعَالَمِينَ

    вə`из̃ ќōōлəтиль-мəлəə`икəту йəə мəрйəму иннəл-лаhə-стōфəəки вəтōhhəрōки вəəстōфəəки 'əлəə нисəə`иль-'əəлəмиин

    And when the angels said, ‘O Mary, Allah has chosen you and purified you, and He has chosen you above the world’s women.
  • 3:43

    يَا مَرْيَمُ اقْنُتِي لِرَبِّكِ وَاسْجُدِي وَارْكَعِي مَعَ الرَّاكِعِينَ

    йəə мəрйəму-ќнутии лирōббики вəəсджудии вəəркə'ии мə'əр-рōōки'иин

    O Mary, be obedient to your Lord and prostrate and bow down with those who bow [in worship].’
  • 3:44

    ذَ‌ٰلِكَ مِنْ أَنبَاءِ الْغَيْبِ نُوحِيهِ إِلَيْكَ  ۚ وَمَا كُنتَ لَدَيْهِمْ إِذْ يُلْقُونَ أَقْلَامَهُمْ أَيُّهُمْ يَكْفُلُ مَرْيَمَ وَمَا كُنتَ لَدَيْهِمْ إِذْ يَخْتَصِمُونَ

    з̃əəликə мин əмм-бəə`иль-ґōйби нууhииhи илəйк, вəмəə куŋŋтə лəдəйhим из̃ йульќуунə əќлəəмəhум əййуhум йəкфулю мəрйəмə вəмəə куŋŋтə лəдəйhим из̃ йəхтəсымуун

    These accounts are from the Unseen, which We reveal to you, and you were not with them when they were casting lots [to see] which of them would take charge of Mary’s care, nor were you with them when they were contending.
  • 3:45

    إِذْ قَالَتِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ يَا مَرْيَمُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُبَشِّرُكِ بِكَلِمَةٍ مِّنْهُ اسْمُهُ الْمَسِيحُ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ وَجِيهًا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَمِنَ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ

    из̃ ќōōлəтиль-мəлəə`икəту йəə мəрйəму иннəл-лаhə йубəшшируки бикəлимəтимм-минhу-смуhуль-мəсииhу 'иисəə-бну мəрйəмə вəджииhəн фиид-дунйəə вəəль`əəхырōти вəминəль-муќōррōбиин

    When the angels said, ‘O Mary, Allah gives you the good news of a Word from Him whose name is Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, distinguished in the world and the Hereafter and one of those brought near [to Allah].
  • 3:46

    وَيُكَلِّمُ النَّاسَ فِي الْمَهْدِ وَكَهْلًا وَمِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ

    вəйукəллимун-нəəсə фииль-мəhди вəкəhлəу-вəминəс-сōōлиhиин

    He will speak to the people in the cradle and in adulthood, and will be one of the righteous.’
