3:133
۞ وَسَارِعُوا إِلَىٰ مَغْفِرَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَجَنَّةٍ عَرْضُهَا السَّمَاوَاتُ وَالْأَرْضُ أُعِدَّتْ لِلْمُتَّقِينَвəсəəри'уу илəə мəґфирōтимм-мир-рōббикум вəджəннəтин 'əрдуhəəс-сəмəəвəəту вəəль`əрду у'иддəт ли-ль-муттəќиин
Hasten towards your Lord’s forgiveness and a paradise as vast as the heavens and the earth, prepared for the Godwary -
3:134
الَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ فِي السَّرَّاءِ وَالضَّرَّاءِ وَالْكَاظِمِينَ الْغَيْظَ وَالْعَافِينَ عَنِ النَّاسِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَəльлəз̃иинə йуŋŋфиќуунə фиис-сəррōō`и вəд-дōррōō`и вəəлькəəз̃ымиинəль-ґōйз̃ō вəəль'əəфиинə 'əнин-нəəс, вəл-лаhу йуhиббуль-муhсиниин
—those who spend in ease and adversity, and suppress their anger, and excuse [the faults of] the people, and Allah loves the virtuous; -
3:135
وَالَّذِينَ إِذَا فَعَلُوا فَاحِشَةً أَوْ ظَلَمُوا أَنفُسَهُمْ ذَكَرُوا اللَّهَ فَاسْتَغْفَرُوا لِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَمَن يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَلَمْ يُصِرُّوا عَلَىٰ مَا فَعَلُوا وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَвəəльлəз̃иинə из̃əə фə'əлюю фəəhишəтəн əу з̃ōлəмуу əŋŋфусəhум з̃əкəруул-лаhə фəəстəґфəруу лиз̃унуубиhим вəмəй-йəґфируз̃-з̃унуубə ильлəл-лаhу вəлəм йусырруу 'əлəə мəə фə'əлюю вəhум йə'лəмуун
and those who, when they commit an indecent act or wrong themselves, remember Allah, and plead [to Allah seeking His] forgiveness for their sins—and who forgives sins except Allah?—and who knowingly do not persist in what [sins] they have committed. -
3:136
أُولَـٰئِكَ جَزَاؤُهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ وَجَنَّاتٌ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ وَنِعْمَ أَجْرُ الْعَامِلِينَуулəə`икə джəзəə`уhум-мəґфирōтумм-мир-рōббиhим вəджəннəəтун тəджрии миŋŋ-тəhтиhəəль-əнhəəру хōōлидиинə фииhəə, вəни'мə əджруль-'əəмилиин
Their reward is forgiveness from their Lord, and gardens with streams running in them, to remain in them [forever]. How excellent is the reward of the workers! -
3:137
قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ سُنَنٌ فَسِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَانظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُكَذِّبِينَќōд хōлəт миŋŋ-ќōбликум сунəнун фəсиируу фииль-əрды фəəŋŋз̃уруу кəйфə кəəнə 'əəќибəтуль-мукəз̃з̃ибиин
Certain [Divine] precedents have passed before you. So travel through the land and observe how was the fate of the deniers. -
3:140
إِن يَمْسَسْكُمْ قَرْحٌ فَقَدْ مَسَّ الْقَوْمَ قَرْحٌ مِّثْلُهُ ۚ وَتِلْكَ الْأَيَّامُ نُدَاوِلُهَا بَيْنَ النَّاسِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَيَتَّخِذَ مِنكُمْ شُهَدَاءَ ۗ وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الظَّالِمِينَий-йəмсəскум ќōрhун фəќōд мəссəль-ќōумə ќōрhумм-миc̃люh, вəтилькəль-əййəəму нудəəвилюhəə бэйнəн-нəəси вəлийə'лəмəл-лаhуль-лəз̃иинə əəмəнуу вəйəттəхыз̃ə миŋŋкум шуhəдəə, вəл-лаhу лəə йуhиббуз̃-з̃ōōлимиин
If wounds afflict you, like wounds have already afflicted those people; and We make such vicissitudes rotate among mankind, so that Allah may ascertain those who have faith, and that He may take martyrs from among you, and Allah does not like the wrongdoers. -
3:142
أَمْ حَسِبْتُمْ أَن تَدْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ وَلَمَّا يَعْلَمِ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ جَاهَدُوا مِنكُمْ وَيَعْلَمَ الصَّابِرِينَəм həсибтум əŋŋ-тəдхулююль-джəннəтə вəлəммəə йə'лəмиль-лəhуль-лəз̃иинə джəəhəдуу миŋŋкум вəйə'лəмəс-сōōбириин
Do you suppose that you would enter paradise, while Allah has not yet ascertained those of you who have waged jihad and He has not ascertained the steadfast? -
3:143
وَلَقَدْ كُنتُمْ تَمَنَّوْنَ الْمَوْتَ مِن قَبْلِ أَن تَلْقَوْهُ فَقَدْ رَأَيْتُمُوهُ وَأَنتُمْ تَنظُرُونَвəлəќōд куŋŋтум тəмəннəунəль-мəутə миŋŋ-ќōбли əŋŋ-тəльќōуhу фəќōд рō`əйтумууhу вə`əŋŋтум тəŋŋз̃уруун
Certainly you were longing for death before you had encountered it. Then certainly, you saw it, as you were looking on. -
3:144
وَمَا مُحَمَّدٌ إِلَّا رَسُولٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِهِ الرُّسُلُ ۚ أَفَإِن مَّاتَ أَوْ قُتِلَ انقَلَبْتُمْ عَلَىٰ أَعْقَابِكُمْ ۚ وَمَن يَنقَلِبْ عَلَىٰ عَقِبَيْهِ فَلَن يَضُرَّ اللَّهَ شَيْئًا ۗ وَسَيَجْزِي اللَّهُ الشَّاكِرِينَвəмəə муhəммəдун ильлəə рōсуулюн ќōд хōлəт миŋŋ-ќōблиhир-русуль, əфə`имм-мəəтə əу ќутилə-ŋŋќōлəбтум 'əлəə ə'ќōōбикум, вəмəй-йəŋŋќōлиб 'əлəə 'əќибəйhи фəлэй-йəдуррōл-лаhə шэй`ə, вəсəйəджзиил-лаhуш-шəəкириин
Muhammad is but an apostle; [other] apostles have passed before him. If he dies or is slain, will you turn back on your heels? Anyone who turns back on his heels, will not harm Allah in the least, and soon Allah will reward the grateful. -
3:145
وَمَا كَانَ لِنَفْسٍ أَن تَمُوتَ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ كِتَابًا مُّؤَجَّلًا ۗ وَمَن يُرِدْ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا نُؤْتِهِ مِنْهَا وَمَن يُرِدْ ثَوَابَ الْآخِرَةِ نُؤْتِهِ مِنْهَا ۚ وَسَنَجْزِي الشَّاكِرِينَвəмəə кəəнə линəфсин əŋŋ-тəмуутə ильлəə би`из̃ниль-лəhи китəəбəмм-му`əджджəлə, вəмəй-йурид c̃əвəəбəд-дунйəə ну`тиhи минhəə вəмəй-йурид c̃əвəəбəль-əəхырōти ну`тиhи минhəə, вəсəнəджзииш-шəəкириин
No soul may die except by Allah’s leave, at an appointed time. Whoever desires the reward of this world, We will give him of it; and whoever desires the reward of the Hereafter, We will give him of it; and soon We will reward the grateful. -
3:146
وَكَأَيِّن مِّن نَّبِيٍّ قَاتَلَ مَعَهُ رِبِّيُّونَ كَثِيرٌ فَمَا وَهَنُوا لِمَا أَصَابَهُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَمَا ضَعُفُوا وَمَا اسْتَكَانُوا ۗ وَاللَّهُ يُحِبُّ الصَّابِرِينَвəкə`əййимм-мин-нəбиййин ќōōтəлə мə'əhу риббиййуунə кəc̃иирун фəмəə вəhəнуу лимəə əсōōбəhум фии сəбиилиль-лəhи вəмəə дō'уфуу вəмəə-стəкəəнуу, вəл-лаhу йуhиббус-сōōбириин
How many a prophet there has been with whom a multitude of godly men fought. They did not falter for what befell them in the way of Allah, neither did they weaken, nor did they abase themselves; and Allah loves the steadfast. -
3:147
وَمَا كَانَ قَوْلَهُمْ إِلَّا أَن قَالُوا رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَإِسْرَافَنَا فِي أَمْرِنَا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَвəмəə кəəнə ќōулəhум ильлəə əŋŋ-ќōōлюю рōббəнəə-ґфир лəнəə з̃унуубəнəə вə`исрōōфəнəə фии əмринəə вəc̃əббит əќдəəмəнəə вəəŋŋсурнəə 'əлəəль-ќōумиль-кəəфириин
All that they said was, ‘Our Lord, forgive us our sins and our excesses in our affairs, make our feet steady, and help us against the faithless lot.’ -
3:148
فَآتَاهُمُ اللَّهُ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا وَحُسْنَ ثَوَابِ الْآخِرَةِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَфə`əəтəəhумул-лаhу c̃əвəəбəд-дунйəə вəhуснə c̃əвəəбиль-əəхырōh, вəл-лаhу йуhиббуль-муhсиниин
So Allah gave them the reward of this world and the fair reward of the Hereafter; and Allah loves the virtuous. -
3:149
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِن تُطِيعُوا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يَرُدُّوكُمْ عَلَىٰ أَعْقَابِكُمْ فَتَنقَلِبُوا خَاسِرِينَйəə əййуhəəль-лəз̃иинə əəмəнуу иŋŋ-тутыы'ууль-лəз̃иинə кəфəруу йəруддуукум 'əлəə ə'ќōōбикум фəтəŋŋќōлибуу хōōсириин
O you who have faith! If you obey the faithless, they will turn you back on your heels, and you will become losers. -
3:151
سَنُلْقِي فِي قُلُوبِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا الرُّعْبَ بِمَا أَشْرَكُوا بِاللَّهِ مَا لَمْ يُنَزِّلْ بِهِ سُلْطَانًا ۖ وَمَأْوَاهُمُ النَّارُ ۚ وَبِئْسَ مَثْوَى الظَّالِمِينَсəнульќии фии ќулююбиль-лəз̃иинə кəфəруур-ру'бə бимəə əшрōкуу биль-лəhи мəə лəм йунəззиль биhи сультōōнə, вəмə`вəəhумун-нəəр, вəби`сə мəc̃вəəз̃-з̃ōōлимиин
We shall cast terror into the hearts of the faithless because of their ascribing partners to Allah, for which He has not sent down any authority, and their refuge shall be the Fire, and evil is the [final] abode of the wrongdoers. -
3:152
وَلَقَدْ صَدَقَكُمُ اللَّهُ وَعْدَهُ إِذْ تَحُسُّونَهُم بِإِذْنِهِ ۖ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا فَشِلْتُمْ وَتَنَازَعْتُمْ فِي الْأَمْرِ وَعَصَيْتُم مِّن بَعْدِ مَا أَرَاكُم مَّا تُحِبُّونَ ۚ مِنكُم مَّن يُرِيدُ الدُّنْيَا وَمِنكُم مَّن يُرِيدُ الْآخِرَةَ ۚ ثُمَّ صَرَفَكُمْ عَنْهُمْ لِيَبْتَلِيَكُمْ ۖ وَلَقَدْ عَفَا عَنكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ ذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَвəлəќōд сōдəќōкумул-лаhу вə'дəhу из̃ тəhуссуунəhумм-би`из̃ниh, həттəə из̃əə фəшильтум вəтəнəəзə'тум фииль-əмри вə'əсōйтум-мимм-бə'ди мəə əрōōкум-мəə туhиббуун, миŋŋкум-мəй-йуриидуд-дунйəə вəмиŋŋкум-мəй-йуриидуль-əəхырōh, c̃уммə сōрōфəкум 'əнhум лийəбтəлийəкум, вəлəќōд 'əфəə 'əŋŋкум, вəл-лаhу з̃уу фəдлин 'əлəəль-му`миниин
Allah certainly fulfilled His promise to you when you were slaying them with His leave, until you lost courage, disputed about the matter, and disobeyed after He showed you what you loved. Some among you desire this world, and some among you desire the Hereafter. Then He turned you away from them so that He might test you. Certainly He has excused you, for Allah is gracious to the faithful.
