3:173
الَّذِينَ قَالَ لَهُمُ النَّاسُ إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ جَمَعُوا لَكُمْ فَاخْشَوْهُمْ فَزَادَهُمْ إِيمَانًا وَقَالُوا حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُəльлəз̃иинə ќōōлə лəhумун-нəəсу иннəн-нəəсə ќōд джəмə'уу лəкум фəəхшəуhум фəзəəдəhум иимəəнəу-вəќōōлюю həсбунəл-лаhу вəни'мəль-вəкииль
—Those to whom the people said, ‘All the people have gathered against you, so fear them.’ That only increased them in faith, and they said, ‘Allah is sufficient for us, and He is an excellent trustee.’ -
3:174
فَانقَلَبُوا بِنِعْمَةٍ مِّنَ اللَّهِ وَفَضْلٍ لَّمْ يَمْسَسْهُمْ سُوءٌ وَاتَّبَعُوا رِضْوَانَ اللَّهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ ذُو فَضْلٍ عَظِيمٍфəəŋŋќōлəбуу бини'мəтимм-минəл-лаhи вəфəдлиль-лəм йəмсəсhум суу`уу-вəəттəбə'уу ридвəəнəл-лаh, вəл-лаhу з̃уу фəдлин 'əз̃ыым
So they returned with Allah’s blessing and grace, untouched by any harm. They pursued the pleasure of Allah, and Allah is dispenser of a great grace. -
3:175
إِنَّمَا ذَٰلِكُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ يُخَوِّفُ أَوْلِيَاءَهُ فَلَا تَخَافُوهُمْ وَخَافُونِ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَиннəмəə з̃əəликумуш-шэйтōōну йухōувифу əулийəə`əhу фəлəə тəхōōфууhум вəхōōфууни иŋŋ-куŋŋтум-му`миниин
That is only Satan frightening [you] of his followers! So fear them not, and fear Me, should you be faithful. -
3:176
وَلَا يَحْزُنكَ الَّذِينَ يُسَارِعُونَ فِي الْكُفْرِ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ لَن يَضُرُّوا اللَّهَ شَيْئًا ۗ يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ أَلَّا يَجْعَلَ لَهُمْ حَظًّا فِي الْآخِرَةِ ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌвəлəə йəhзуŋŋкəль-лəз̃иинə йусəəри'уунə фииль-куфр, иннəhум лэй-йəдурруул-лаhə шэй`ə, йуриидул-лаhу əльлəə йəдж'əлə лəhум həз̃з̃ōн фииль-əəхырōh, вəлəhум 'əз̃əəбун 'əз̃ыым
Do not grieve for those who are active in unfaith; they will not hurt Allah in the least: Allah desires to give them no share in the Hereafter, and there is a great punishment for them. -
3:177
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ اشْتَرَوُا الْكُفْرَ بِالْإِيمَانِ لَن يَضُرُّوا اللَّهَ شَيْئًا وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌиннəль-лəз̃иинə-штəрōвуль-куфрō би-ль-иимəəни лэй-йəдурруул-лаhə шэй`əу-вəлəhум 'əз̃əəбун əлиим
Those who have bought unfaith for faith will not hurt Allah in the least, and there is a painful punishment for them. -
3:178
وَلَا يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَنَّمَا نُمْلِي لَهُمْ خَيْرٌ لِّأَنفُسِهِمْ ۚ إِنَّمَا نُمْلِي لَهُمْ لِيَزْدَادُوا إِثْمًا ۚ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌвəлəə йəhсəбəннəль-лəз̃иинə кəфəруу əннəмəə нумлии лəhум хōйрул-ли`əŋŋфусиhим, иннəмəə нумлии лəhум лийəздəəдуу иc̃мə, вəлəhум 'əз̃əəбумм-муhиин
Let the faithless not suppose that the respite that We grant them is good for their souls: We give them respite only that they may increase in sin, and there is a humiliating punishment for them. -
3:179
مَّا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيَذَرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلَىٰ مَا أَنتُمْ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّىٰ يَمِيزَ الْخَبِيثَ مِنَ الطَّيِّبِ ۗ وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيُطْلِعَكُمْ عَلَى الْغَيْبِ وَلَـٰكِنَّ اللَّهَ يَجْتَبِي مِن رُّسُلِهِ مَن يَشَاءُ ۖ فَآمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ ۚ وَإِن تُؤْمِنُوا وَتَتَّقُوا فَلَكُمْ أَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌмəə кəəнəл-лаhу лийəз̃əрōль-му`миниинə 'əлəə мəə əŋŋтум 'əлэйhи həттəə йəмиизəль-хōбииc̃ə минəт-тōййиб, вəмəə кəəнəл-лаhу лийутли'əкум 'əлəəль-ґōйби вəлəəкиннəл-лаhə йəджтəбии мир-русулиhи мəй-йəшəə, фə`əəминуу биль-лəhи вəрусулиh, вə`иŋŋ-ту`минуу вəтəттəќуу фəлəкум əджрун 'əз̃ыым
Allah will not leave the faithful in your present state, until He has separated the bad ones from the good. Allah will not acquaint you with the Unseen, but Allah chooses whomever He wishes from His apostles. So have faith in Allah and His apostles; and if you are faithful and Godwary, there shall be a great reward for you. -
3:180
وَلَا يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ يَبْخَلُونَ بِمَا آتَاهُمُ اللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ هُوَ خَيْرًا لَّهُم ۖ بَلْ هُوَ شَرٌّ لَّهُمْ ۖ سَيُطَوَّقُونَ مَا بَخِلُوا بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۗ وَلِلَّهِ مِيرَاثُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌвəлəə йəhсəбəннəль-лəз̃иинə йəбхōлююнə бимəə əəтəəhумул-лаhу миŋŋ-фəдлиhи hувə хōйрōль-лəhум, бəль hувə шəрруль-лəhум, сəйутōувəќуунə мəə бəхылюю биhи йəумəль-ќийəəмəh, вəлильлəhи миирōōc̃ус-сəмəəвəəти вəəль`əрд, вəл-лаhу бимəə тə'мəлююнə хōбиир
Let the stingy not suppose that [their grudging] what Allah has given them out of His bounty is good for them; no, it is bad for them. They will be collared with what they grudge on the Day of Resurrection. To Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is well aware of what you do. -
3:181
لَّقَدْ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ قَوْلَ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ فَقِيرٌ وَنَحْنُ أَغْنِيَاءُ ۘ سَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَالُوا وَقَتْلَهُمُ الْأَنبِيَاءَ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ وَنَقُولُ ذُوقُوا عَذَابَ الْحَرِيقِлəќōд сəми'əл-лаhу ќōулəль-лəз̃иинə ќōōлюю иннəл-лаhə фəќиируу-вəнəhну əґнийəə`у сəнəктубу мəə ќōōлюю вəќōтлəhумуль-əмм-бийəə`ə биґōйри həќќиу-вəнəќуулю з̃ууќуу 'əз̃əəбəль-həрииќ
Allah has certainly heard the remark of those who said, ‘Allah is poor and we are rich.’ We will record what they have said, and their killing of the prophets unjustly, and We shall say, ‘Taste the punishment of the burning. -
3:183
الَّذِينَ قَالُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَهِدَ إِلَيْنَا أَلَّا نُؤْمِنَ لِرَسُولٍ حَتَّىٰ يَأْتِيَنَا بِقُرْبَانٍ تَأْكُلُهُ النَّارُ ۗ قُلْ قَدْ جَاءَكُمْ رُسُلٌ مِّن قَبْلِي بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ وَبِالَّذِي قُلْتُمْ فَلِمَ قَتَلْتُمُوهُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَəльлəз̃иинə ќōōлюю иннəл-лаhə 'əhидə илəйнəə əльлəə ну`минə лирōсуулин həттəə йə`тийəнəə биќурбəəнин тə`кулюhун-нəəр, ќуль ќōд джəə`əкум русулюмм-миŋŋ-ќōблии би-ль-бэййинəəти вəбильлəз̃ии ќультум фəлимə ќōтəльтумууhум иŋŋ-куŋŋтум сōōдиќиин
Tell those who say, ‘Allah has pledged us not to believe in any apostle unless he brings us an offering consumed by fire,’ ‘Apostles before me certainly did bring you manifest signs and what you speak of. Then why did you kill them, if you are truthful?’ -
3:184
فَإِن كَذَّبُوكَ فَقَدْ كُذِّبَ رُسُلٌ مِّن قَبْلِكَ جَاءُوا بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ وَالزُّبُرِ وَالْكِتَابِ الْمُنِيرِфə`иŋŋ-кəз̃з̃əбуукə фəќōд куз̃з̃ибə русулюмм-миŋŋ-ќōбликə джəə`уу би-ль-бэййинəəти вəз-зубури вəəлькитəəбиль-муниир
But if they deny you, [other] apostles have been denied before you, who came with manifest signs, holy writs, and an illuminating scripture. -
3:185
كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَائِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ ۗ وَإِنَّمَا تُوَفَّوْنَ أُجُورَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۖ فَمَن زُحْزِحَ عَنِ النَّارِ وَأُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ فَقَدْ فَازَ ۗ وَمَا الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا مَتَاعُ الْغُرُورِкуллю нəфсин з̃əə`иќōтуль-мəут, вə`иннəмəə тувəффəунə уджуурōкум йəумəль-ќийəəмəh, фəмəŋŋ-зуhзиhə 'əнин-нəəри вə`удхылəль-джəннəтə фəќōд фəəз, вəмəəль-həйəəтуд-дунйəə ильлəə мəтəə'уль-ґуруур
Every soul shall taste death, and you will indeed be paid your full rewards on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever is delivered from the Fire and admitted to paradise has certainly succeeded. The life of this world is nothing but the wares of delusion. -
3:186
۞ لَتُبْلَوُنَّ فِي أَمْوَالِكُمْ وَأَنفُسِكُمْ وَلَتَسْمَعُنَّ مِنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ وَمِنَ الَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا أَذًى كَثِيرًا ۚ وَإِن تَصْبِرُوا وَتَتَّقُوا فَإِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ مِنْ عَزْمِ الْأُمُورِлəтублəвуннə фии əмвəəликум вə`əŋŋфусикум вəлəтəсмə'уннə минəль-лəз̃иинə уутууль-китəəбə миŋŋ-ќōбликум вəминəль-лəз̃иинə əшрōкуу əз̃əн кəc̃иирō, вə`иŋŋ-тəсбируу вəтəттəќуу фə`иннə з̃əəликə мин 'əзмиль-умуур
You will surely be tested in your possessions and your souls, and you will surely hear much affront from those who were given the Book before you and from the polytheists; but if you are patient and Godwary, that is indeed the steadiest of courses. -
3:187
وَإِذْ أَخَذَ اللَّهُ مِيثَاقَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ لَتُبَيِّنُنَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ وَلَا تَكْتُمُونَهُ فَنَبَذُوهُ وَرَاءَ ظُهُورِهِمْ وَاشْتَرَوْا بِهِ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا ۖ فَبِئْسَ مَا يَشْتَرُونَвə`из̃ əхōз̃əл-лаhу мииc̃əəќōль-лəз̃иинə уутууль-китəəбə лəтубəййинуннəhу лин-нəəси вəлəə тəктумуунəhу фəнəбəз̃ууhу вəрōō`ə з̃уhууриhим вəəштəрōу биhи c̃əмəнəн ќōлиилə, фəби`сə мəə йəштəруун
When Allah made a covenant with those who were given the Book: ‘You shall explain it for the people, and you shall not conceal it,’ they cast it behind their backs and sold it for a paltry gain. How evil is what they buy! -
3:188
لَا تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ يَفْرَحُونَ بِمَا أَتَوا وَّيُحِبُّونَ أَن يُحْمَدُوا بِمَا لَمْ يَفْعَلُوا فَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّهُم بِمَفَازَةٍ مِّنَ الْعَذَابِ ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌлəə тəhсəбəннəль-лəз̃иинə йəфрōhуунə бимəə əтəу-вəйуhиббуунə əй-йуhмəдуу бимəə лəм йəф'əлюю фəлəə тəhсəбəннəhумм-бимəфəəзəтимм-минəль-'əз̃əəб, вəлəhум 'əз̃əəбун əлиим
Do not suppose those who brag about what they have done, and love to be praised for what they have not done—do not suppose them saved from punishment and there is a painful punishment for them. -
3:190
إِنَّ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَاخْتِلَافِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ لَآيَاتٍ لِّأُولِي الْأَلْبَابِиннə фии хōльќис-сəмəəвəəти вəəль`əрды вəəхтилəəфиль-лэйли вəн-нəhəəри лə`əəйəəтил-ли`уулииль-əльбəəб
Indeed in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of night and day, there are signs for those who possess intellect. -
3:191
الَّذِينَ يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ قِيَامًا وَقُعُودًا وَعَلَىٰ جُنُوبِهِمْ وَيَتَفَكَّرُونَ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هَـٰذَا بَاطِلًا سُبْحَانَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِəльлəз̃иинə йəз̃куруунəл-лаhə ќийəəмəу-вəќу'уудəу-вə'əлəə джунуубиhим вəйəтəфəккəруунə фии хōльќис-сəмəəвəəти вəəль`əрды рōббəнəə мəə хōлəќтə həəз̃əə бəəтылəн субhəəнəкə фəќинəə 'əз̃əəбəн-нəəр
Those who remember Allah standing, sitting, and lying on their sides, and reflect on the creation of the heavens and the earth [and say], ‘Our Lord, You have not created this in vain! Immaculate are You! Save us from the punishment of the Fire. -
3:192
رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ مَن تُدْخِلِ النَّارَ فَقَدْ أَخْزَيْتَهُ ۖ وَمَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ مِنْ أَنصَارٍрōббəнəə иннəкə мəŋŋ-тудхылин-нəəрō фəќōд əхзəйтəh, вəмəə лиз̃-з̃ōōлимиинə мин əŋŋсōōр
Our Lord, whoever that You make enter the Fire will surely have been disgraced by You, and the wrongdoers will have no helpers.
