35:24
إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ بِالْحَقِّ بَشِيرًا وَنَذِيرًا ۚ وَإِن مِّنْ أُمَّةٍ إِلَّا خَلَا فِيهَا نَذِيرٌиннəə əрсəльнəəкə би-ль-həќќи бəшиирōу-вəнəз̃иирō, вə`имм-мин уммəтин ильлəə хōлəə фииhəə нəз̃иир
Indeed We have sent you with the truth as a bearer of good news and as a warner; and there is not a nation but a warner has passed in it. -
35:25
وَإِن يُكَذِّبُوكَ فَقَدْ كَذَّبَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ جَاءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ وَبِالزُّبُرِ وَبِالْكِتَابِ الْمُنِيرِвə`ий-йукəз̃з̃ибуукə фəќōд кəз̃з̃əбəль-лəз̃иинə миŋŋ-ќōблиhим джəə`əтhум русулюhумм-би-ль-бэййинəəти вəбиз-зубури вəби-ль-китəəбиль-муниир
If they impugn you, those before them have impugned [likewise]: their apostles brought them manifest proofs, [holy] writs, and illuminating scriptures. -
35:27
أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ أَنزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَخْرَجْنَا بِهِ ثَمَرَاتٍ مُّخْتَلِفًا أَلْوَانُهَا ۚ وَمِنَ الْجِبَالِ جُدَدٌ بِيضٌ وَحُمْرٌ مُّخْتَلِفٌ أَلْوَانُهَا وَغَرَابِيبُ سُودٌəлəм тəрō əннəл-лаhə əŋŋзəлə минəс-сəмəə`и мəə`əн фə`əхрōджнəə биhи c̃əмəрōōтимм-мухтəлифəн əльвəəнуhəə, вəминəль-джибəəли джудəдумм-биидуу-вəhумрумм-мухтəлифун əльвəəнуhəə вəґōрōōбиибу сууд
Have you not regarded that Allah sends down water from the sky, with which We produce fruits of diverse hues. And in the mountains are stripes, white and red, of diverse hues, and [others] pitch black? -
35:28
وَمِنَ النَّاسِ وَالدَّوَابِّ وَالْأَنْعَامِ مُخْتَلِفٌ أَلْوَانُهُ كَذَٰلِكَ ۗ إِنَّمَا يَخْشَى اللَّهَ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ الْعُلَمَاءُ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ غَفُورٌвəминəн-нəəси вəд-дəвəəбби вəəль`əн'əəми мухтəлифун əльвəəнуhу кəз̃əəлик, иннəмəə йəхшəл-лаhə мин 'ибəəдиhиль-'улəмəə, иннəл-лаhə 'əзиизун ґōфуур
And of humans and beasts and cattle there are likewise diverse hues. Only those of Allah’s servants having knowledge fear Him. Indeed Allah is all-mighty, all-forgiving. -
35:29
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَتْلُونَ كِتَابَ اللَّهِ وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَأَنفَقُوا مِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ سِرًّا وَعَلَانِيَةً يَرْجُونَ تِجَارَةً لَّن تَبُورَиннəль-лəз̃иинə йəтлююнə китəəбəл-лаhи вə`əќōōмуус-сōлəəтə вə`əŋŋфəќуу миммəə рōзəќнəəhум сиррōу-вə'əлəəнийəтəй-йəрджуунə тиджəəрōтəль-лəŋŋ-тəбуур
Indeed those who recite the Book of Allah and maintain the prayer, and spend secretly and openly out of what We have provided them, expect a commerce that will never go bankrupt, -
35:31
وَالَّذِي أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ هُوَ الْحَقُّ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بِعِبَادِهِ لَخَبِيرٌ بَصِيرٌвəəльлəз̃ии əуhəйнəə илəйкə минəль-китəəби hувəль-həќќу мусōддиќōл-лимəə бэйнə йəдəйh, иннəл-лаhə би'ибəəдиhи лəхōбиирумм-бəсыыр
That which We have revealed to you of the Book is the truth, confirming what was [revealed] before it. Indeed Allah is all-aware, all-seeing about His servants. -
35:32
ثُمَّ أَوْرَثْنَا الْكِتَابَ الَّذِينَ اصْطَفَيْنَا مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ۖ فَمِنْهُمْ ظَالِمٌ لِّنَفْسِهِ وَمِنْهُم مُّقْتَصِدٌ وَمِنْهُمْ سَابِقٌ بِالْخَيْرَاتِ بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَضْلُ الْكَبِيرُc̃уммə əурōc̃нəəль-китəəбəль-лəз̃иинə-стōфəйнəə мин 'ибəəдинəə, фəминhум з̃ōōлимул-линəфсиhи вəминhум-муќтəсыдуу-вəминhум сəəбиќумм-би-ль-хōйрōōти би`из̃ниль-лəh, з̃əəликə hувəль-фəдлюль-кəбиир
Then We made those whom We chose from Our servants heirs to the Book. Yet some of them are those who wrong themselves, and some of them are average, and some of them are those who take the lead in all the good works by Allah’s will. That is the greatest grace [of Allah]! -
35:33
جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ يَدْخُلُونَهَا يُحَلَّوْنَ فِيهَا مِنْ أَسَاوِرَ مِن ذَهَبٍ وَلُؤْلُؤًا ۖ وَلِبَاسُهُمْ فِيهَا حَرِيرٌджəннəəту 'əдний-йəдхулююнəhəə йуhəльлəунə фииhəə мин əсəəвирō миŋŋ-з̃əhəбиу-вəлю`лю`ə, вəлибəəсуhум фииhəə həриир
Gardens of Eden, which they will enter, adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearl, and their garments therein will be of silk. -
35:34
وَقَالُوا الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَذْهَبَ عَنَّا الْحَزَنَ ۖ إِنَّ رَبَّنَا لَغَفُورٌ شَكُورٌвəќōōлююль-həмду лильлəhиль-лəз̃ии əз̃həбə 'əннəəль-həзəн, иннə рōббəнəə лəґōфуурун шəкуур
They will say, ‘All praise belongs to Allah, who has removed all grief from us. Indeed Our Lord is all-forgiving, all-appreciative, -
35:35
الَّذِي أَحَلَّنَا دَارَ الْمُقَامَةِ مِن فَضْلِهِ لَا يَمَسُّنَا فِيهَا نَصَبٌ وَلَا يَمَسُّنَا فِيهَا لُغُوبٌəльлəз̃ии əhəльлəнəə дəəрōль-муќōōмəти миŋŋ-фəдлиhи лəə йəмəссунəə фииhəə нəсōбуу-вəлəə йəмəссунəə фииhəə люґууб
who has settled us in the everlasting abode by His grace. In it we are untouched by toil, and untouched by fatigue.’ -
35:36
وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَهُمْ نَارُ جَهَنَّمَ لَا يُقْضَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ فَيَمُوتُوا وَلَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُم مِّنْ عَذَابِهَا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي كُلَّ كَفُورٍвəəльлəз̃иинə кəфəруу лəhум нəəру джəhəннəмə лəə йуќдōō 'əлэйhим фəйəмуутуу вəлəə йухōффəфу 'əнhум-мин 'əз̃əəбиhəə, кəз̃əəликə нəджзии кульлə кəфуур
As for the faithless, there is for them the fire of hell: they will neither be done away with so that they may die, nor shall its punishment be lightened for them. Thus do We requite every ingrate. -
35:37
وَهُمْ يَصْطَرِخُونَ فِيهَا رَبَّنَا أَخْرِجْنَا نَعْمَلْ صَالِحًا غَيْرَ الَّذِي كُنَّا نَعْمَلُ ۚ أَوَلَمْ نُعَمِّرْكُم مَّا يَتَذَكَّرُ فِيهِ مَن تَذَكَّرَ وَجَاءَكُمُ النَّذِيرُ ۖ فَذُوقُوا فَمَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ مِن نَّصِيرٍвəhум йəстōрихуунə фииhəə рōббəнəə əхриджнəə нə'мəль сōōлиhəн ґōйрōль-лəз̃ии куннəə нə'мəль, əвəлəм ну'əммиркум-мəə йəтəз̃əккəру фииhи мəŋŋ-тəз̃əккəрō вəджəə`əкумун-нəз̃иир, фəз̃ууќуу фəмəə лиз̃-з̃ōōлимиинə мин-нəсыыр
They shall cry therein for help: ‘Our Lord! Bring us out, so that we may act righteously—differently from what we used to do!’ ‘Did We not give you a lifelong enough that one who is heedful might take admonition? And [moreover] the warner had [also] come to you. Now taste [the consequence of your deeds], for the wrongdoers have no helper.’ -
35:38
إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَالِمُ غَيْبِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ إِنَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِиннəл-лаhə 'əəлиму ґōйбис-сəмəəвəəти вəəль`əрд, иннəhу 'əлиимумм-биз̃əəтис-судуур
Indeed Allah is the knower of the Unseen of the heavens and the earth. Indeed, He knows well what is in the breasts. -
35:39
هُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَكُمْ خَلَائِفَ فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ فَمَن كَفَرَ فَعَلَيْهِ كُفْرُهُ ۖ وَلَا يَزِيدُ الْكَافِرِينَ كُفْرُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَّا مَقْتًا ۖ وَلَا يَزِيدُ الْكَافِرِينَ كُفْرُهُمْ إِلَّا خَسَارًاhувəль-лəз̃ии джə'əлəкум хōлəə`ифə фииль-əрд, фəмəŋŋ-кəфəрō фə'əлэйhи куфруh, вəлəə йəзиидуль-кəəфириинə куфруhум 'иŋŋдə рōббиhим ильлəə мəќтə, вəлəə йəзиидуль-кəəфириинə куфруhум ильлəə хōсəəрō
It is He who made you successors on the earth. So whoever is faithless, his unfaith is to his own detriment. The unfaith of the faithless does not increase them with their Lord [in anything] except disfavour, and their unfaith increases the faithless in nothing except loss. -
35:40
قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ شُرَكَاءَكُمُ الَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ أَرُونِي مَاذَا خَلَقُوا مِنَ الْأَرْضِ أَمْ لَهُمْ شِرْكٌ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ أَمْ آتَيْنَاهُمْ كِتَابًا فَهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَتٍ مِّنْهُ ۚ بَلْ إِن يَعِدُ الظَّالِمُونَ بَعْضُهُم بَعْضًا إِلَّا غُرُورًاќуль əрō`əйтум шурōкəə`əкумуль-лəз̃иинə тəд'уунə миŋŋ-дууниль-лəhи əруунии мəəз̃əə хōлəќуу минəль-əрды əм лəhум ширкун фиис-сəмəəвəəти əм əəтəйнəəhум китəəбəн фəhум 'əлəə бэййинəтимм-минh, бəль ий-йə'идуз̃-з̃ōōлимуунə бə'дуhумм-бə'дōн ильлəə ґуруурō
Say, ‘Tell me about your ‘partners’ whom you invoke besides Allah? Show me what [part] of the earth have they created. Have they any share in the heavens?’ Have We given them a scripture so that they stand on a manifest proof from it? No, the wrongdoers do not promise one another [anything] except delusion. -
35:41
۞ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُمْسِكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ أَن تَزُولَا ۚ وَلَئِن زَالَتَا إِنْ أَمْسَكَهُمَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ مِّن بَعْدِهِ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ حَلِيمًا غَفُورًاиннəл-лаhə йумсикус-сəмəəвəəти вəəль`əрдō əŋŋ-тəзуулəə, вəлə`иŋŋ-зəəлəтəə ин əмсəкəhумəə мин əhəдимм-мимм-бə'диh, иннəhу кəəнə həлиимəн ґōфуурō
Indeed Allah sustains the heavens and the earth lest they should fall apart, and if they were to fall apart, there is none who can sustain them except Him. Indeed He is all-forbearing, all-forgiving. -
35:42
وَأَقْسَمُوا بِاللَّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَانِهِمْ لَئِن جَاءَهُمْ نَذِيرٌ لَّيَكُونُنَّ أَهْدَىٰ مِنْ إِحْدَى الْأُمَمِ ۖ فَلَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ نَذِيرٌ مَّا زَادَهُمْ إِلَّا نُفُورًاвə`əќсəмуу биль-лəhи джəhдə əймəəниhим лə`иŋŋ-джəə`əhум нəз̃иируль-лəйəкуунуннə əhдəə мин иhдəəль-умəм, фəлəммəə джəə`əhум нəз̃иирумм-мəə зəəдəhум ильлəə нуфуурō
They had sworn by Allah with solemn oaths that if a warner were to come to them, they would be better guided than any of the nations. But when a warner came to them, it only increased their distance [from the truth], -
35:43
اسْتِكْبَارًا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَكْرَ السَّيِّئِ ۚ وَلَا يَحِيقُ الْمَكْرُ السَّيِّئُ إِلَّا بِأَهْلِهِ ۚ فَهَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا سُنَّتَ الْأَوَّلِينَ ۚ فَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ اللَّهِ تَبْدِيلًا ۖ وَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ اللَّهِ تَحْوِيلًاистикбəəрōн фииль-əрды вəмəкрōс-сəййи, вəлəə йəhииќуль-мəкрус-сəййи`у ильлəə би`əhлиh, фəhəль йəŋŋз̃уруунə ильлəə суннəтəль-əувəлиин, фəлəŋŋ-тəджидə лисуннəтиль-лəhи тəбдиилə, вəлəŋŋ-тəджидə лисуннəтиль-лəhи тəhвиилə
due to their domineering [conduct] in the land and their devising of evil schemes; and evil schemes beset only their authors. So do they await anything except the precedent of the ancients? Yet you will never find any change in Allah’s precedent, and you will never find any revision in Allah’s precedent.
