  • 43:80
    أَمْ يَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّا لَا نَسْمَعُ سِرَّهُمْ وَنَجْوَاهُم  ۚ بَلَىٰ وَرُسُلُنَا لَدَيْهِمْ يَكْتُبُونَ

    əм йəhсəбуунə əннəə лəə нəсмə'у сиррōhум вəнəджвəəhум, бəлəə вəрусулюнəə лəдəйhим йəктубуун

    Do they suppose that We do not hear their secret thoughts and their secret talks? Yes indeed [We do]! And with them are Our messengers, writing down [everything].

    قُلْ إِن كَانَ لِلرَّحْمَـٰنِ وَلَدٌ فَأَنَا أَوَّلُ الْعَابِدِينَ

    ќуль иŋŋ-кəəнə лир-рōhмəəни вəлəдун фə`əнəə əувəлюль-'əəбидиин

    Say, ‘If the All-beneficent had offspring, I would have been the first to worship [him].’

  • 43:82
    سُبْحَانَ رَبِّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ رَبِّ الْعَرْشِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ

    субhəəнə рōббис-сəмəəвəəти вəəль`əрды рōббиль-'əрши 'əммəə йəсыфуун

    Clear is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne, of whatever they allege [concerning Him]!

  • 43:83
    فَذَرْهُمْ يَخُوضُوا وَيَلْعَبُوا حَتَّىٰ يُلَاقُوا يَوْمَهُمُ الَّذِي يُوعَدُونَ

    фəз̃əрhум йəхуудуу вəйəль'əбуу həттəə йулəəќуу йəумəhумуль-лəз̃ии йуу'əдуун

    So leave them to gossip and play until they encounter the day they are promised.

    وَهُوَ الَّذِي فِي السَّمَاءِ إِلَـٰهٌ وَفِي الْأَرْضِ إِلَـٰهٌ  ۚ وَهُوَ الْحَكِيمُ الْعَلِيمُ

    вəhувəль-лəз̃ии фиис-сəмəə`и илəəhуу-вəфииль-əрды илəəh, вəhувəль-həкиимуль-'əлиим

    It is He who is God in the sky, and God on the earth, and He is the All-Wise, the All-Knowing.

    وَتَبَارَكَ الَّذِي لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَعِندَهُ عِلْمُ السَّاعَةِ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ

    вəтəбəəрōкəль-лəз̃ии лəhу мулькус-сəмəəвəəти вəəль`əрды вəмəə бэйнəhумəə вə'иŋŋдəhу 'ильмус-сəə'əти вə`илəйhи турджə'уун

    Blessed is He to whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, and with Him is the knowledge of the Hour, and to Him you will be brought back.

    وَلَا يَمْلِكُ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِ الشَّفَاعَةَ إِلَّا مَن شَهِدَ بِالْحَقِّ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ

    вəлəə йəмликуль-лəз̃иинə йəд'уунə миŋŋ-дууниhиш-шəфəə'əтə ильлəə мəŋŋ-шəhидə би-ль-həќќи вəhум йə'лəмуун

    Those whom they invoke besides Him have no power of intercession, except those who are witness to the truth and who know [for whom to intercede].

    وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُم مَّنْ خَلَقَهُمْ لَيَقُولُنَّ اللَّهُ  ۖ فَأَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ

    вəлə`иŋŋ-сə`əльтəhум-мəн хōлəќōhум лəйəќуулюннəл-лаh, фə`əннəə йу`фəкуун

    If you ask them, ‘Who created them?’ they will surely say, ‘Allah.’ Then where do they stray?

    وَقِيلِهِ يَا رَبِّ إِنَّ هَـٰؤُلَاءِ قَوْمٌ لَّا يُؤْمِنُونَ

    вəќиилиhи йəə рōбби иннə həə`улəə`и ќōумуль-лəə йу`минуун

    And his plaint: ‘My Lord! Indeed these are a people who will not have faith!’

  • 43:89
    فَاصْفَحْ عَنْهُمْ وَقُلْ سَلَامٌ  ۚ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ

    фəəсфəh 'əнhум вəќуль сəлəəм, фəсəуфə йə'лəмуун

    So disregard them, and say, ‘Peace!’ Soon they will know.

    إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةٍ مُّبَارَكَةٍ  ۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا مُنذِرِينَ

    иннəə əŋŋзəльнəəhу фии лэйлəтимм-мубəəрōкəh, иннəə куннəə муŋŋз̃ириин

    We sent it down on a blessed night, and We have been warning [mankind].

    فِيهَا يُفْرَقُ كُلُّ أَمْرٍ حَكِيمٍ

    фииhəə йуфрōќу куллю əмрин həкиим

    Every definitive matter is resolved on it,

    أَمْرًا مِّنْ عِندِنَا  ۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا مُرْسِلِينَ

    əмрōмм-мин 'иŋŋдинəə, иннəə куннəə мурсилиин

    as an ordinance from Us. We have been sending [apostles]

    رَحْمَةً مِّن رَّبِّكَ  ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ

    рōhмəтəмм-мир-рōббик, иннəhу hувəс-сəмии'уль-'əлиим

    as a mercy from your Lord—indeed He is the All-hearing, the All-knowing—

    رَبِّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا  ۖ إِن كُنتُم مُّوقِنِينَ

    рōббис-сəмəəвəəти вəəль`əрды вəмəə бэйнəhумəə, иŋŋ-куŋŋтум-мууќиниин

    the Lord of the heavens and the earth, and whatever is between them, should you have conviction.

    لَا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ  ۖ رَبُّكُمْ وَرَبُّ آبَائِكُمُ الْأَوَّلِينَ

    лəə илəəhə ильлəə hувə йуhйии вəйумиит, рōббукум вəрōббу əəбəə`икумуль-əувəлиин

    There is no god except Him: He gives life and brings death, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers.

    بَلْ هُمْ فِي شَكٍّ يَلْعَبُونَ

    бəль hум фии шəккий-йəль'əбуун

    But they play around in doubt.

    فَارْتَقِبْ يَوْمَ تَأْتِي السَّمَاءُ بِدُخَانٍ مُّبِينٍ

    фəəртəќиб йəумə тə`тиис-сəмəə`у бидухōōнимм-мубиин

    So watch out for the day when the sky brings on a manifest smoke,
