29. (Благословен)
  • 68:11

    هَمَّازٍ مَّشَّاءٍ بِنَمِيمٍ

    həммəəзимм-мəшшəə`имм-бинəмиим

    scandal-monger, talebearer,
  • 68:12

    مَّنَّاعٍ لِّلْخَيْرِ مُعْتَدٍ أَثِيمٍ

    мəннəə'ил-ли-ль-хōйри му'тəдин əc̃иим

    hinderer of all good, sinful transgressor,
  • 68:13

    عُتُلٍّ بَعْدَ ذَ‌ٰلِكَ زَنِيمٍ

    'утуллимм-бə'дə з̃əəликə зəниим

    callous and, on top of that, baseborn
  • 68:14

    أَن كَانَ ذَا مَالٍ وَبَنِينَ

    əŋŋ-кəəнə з̃əə мəəлиу-вəбəниин

    —[who behaves in such a manner only] because he has wealth and children.
  • 68:15

    إِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ آيَاتُنَا قَالَ أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ

    из̃əə тутлəə 'əлэйhи əəйəəтунəə ќōōлə əсəəтыыруль-əувəлиин

    When Our signs are recited to him, he says, ‘Myths of the ancients!’
  • 68:16

    سَنَسِمُهُ عَلَى الْخُرْطُومِ

    сəнəсимуhу 'əлəəль-хуртуум

    Soon We shall brand him on his snout.
  • 68:17

    إِنَّا بَلَوْنَاهُمْ كَمَا بَلَوْنَا أَصْحَابَ الْجَنَّةِ إِذْ أَقْسَمُوا لَيَصْرِمُنَّهَا مُصْبِحِينَ

    иннəə бəлəунəəhум кəмəə бəлəунəə əсhəəбəль-джəннəти из̃ əќсəмуу лəйəсримуннəhəə мусбиhиин

    Indeed we have tested them just as We tested the People of the Garden when they vowed they would gather its fruit at dawn,
  • 68:18

    وَلَا يَسْتَثْنُونَ

    вəлəə йəстəc̃нуун

    and they did not make any exception.
  • 68:19

    فَطَافَ عَلَيْهَا طَائِفٌ مِّن رَّبِّكَ وَهُمْ نَائِمُونَ

    фəтōōфə 'əлэйhəə тōō`ифумм-мир-рōббикə вəhум нəə`имуун

    Then, a visitation from your Lord visited it while they were asleep.
  • 68:20

    فَأَصْبَحَتْ كَالصَّرِيمِ

    фə`əсбəhəт кəс-сōриим

    So, by dawn it was like a harvested field.
  • 68:21

    فَتَنَادَوْا مُصْبِحِينَ

    фəтəнəəдəу мусбиhиин

    At dawn they called out to one another,
  • 68:22

    أَنِ اغْدُوا عَلَىٰ حَرْثِكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَارِمِينَ

    əни-ґдуу 'əлəə həрc̃икум иŋŋ-куŋŋтум сōōримиин

    ‘Get off early to your field if you have to gather [the fruits].’
  • 68:23

    فَانطَلَقُوا وَهُمْ يَتَخَافَتُونَ

    фəəŋŋтōлəќуу вəhум йəтəхōōфəтуун

    So off they went, murmuring to one another:
  • 68:24

    أَن لَّا يَدْخُلَنَّهَا الْيَوْمَ عَلَيْكُم مِّسْكِينٌ

    əль-лəə йəдхулəннəhəəль-йəумə 'əлэйкум-мискиин

    ‘Today no needy man shall come to you in it.’
  • 68:25

    وَغَدَوْا عَلَىٰ حَرْدٍ قَادِرِينَ

    вəґōдəу 'əлəə həрдин ќōōдириин

    And they set out at early morning, [considering themselves] able to deprive [the poor of its fruit].
  • 68:26

    فَلَمَّا رَأَوْهَا قَالُوا إِنَّا لَضَالُّونَ

    фəлəммəə рō`əуhəə ќōōлюю иннəə лəдōōллююн

    But when they saw it, they said, ‘We have indeed lost our way!’
  • 68:27

    بَلْ نَحْنُ مَحْرُومُونَ

    бəль нəhну мəhруумуун

    ‘No, it is we who have been deprived!’
  • 68:28

    قَالَ أَوْسَطُهُمْ أَلَمْ أَقُل لَّكُمْ لَوْلَا تُسَبِّحُونَ

    ќōōлə əусəтуhум əлəм əќуль-лəкум лəулəə тусəббиhуун

    The most upright among them said, ‘Did I not tell you, ‘‘Why do you not glorify [Allah]?’’ ’
  • 68:29

    قَالُوا سُبْحَانَ رَبِّنَا إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَالِمِينَ

    ќōōлюю субhəəнə рōббинəə иннəə куннəə з̃ōōлимиин

    They said, ‘Immaculate is our Lord! We have indeed been wrongdoers!’
  • 68:30

    فَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ يَتَلَاوَمُونَ

    фə`əќбəлə бə'дуhум 'əлəə бə'дый-йəтəлəəвəмуун

    Then they turned to one another, blaming each other.
