Maytham Al Tammar
-
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
бисмиль-лəhир-рōhмəəнир-рōhиим
In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful. -
42:5
تَكَادُ السَّمَاوَاتُ يَتَفَطَّرْنَ مِن فَوْقِهِنَّ ۚ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ يُسَبِّحُونَ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَ لِمَن فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ أَلَا إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُтəкəəдус-сəмəəвəəту йəтəфəттōрнə миŋŋ-фəуќиhинн, вəəльмəлəə`икəту йусəббиhуунə биhəмди рōббиhим вəйəстəґфируунə лимəŋŋ-фииль-əрд, əлəə иннəл-лаhə hувəль-ґōфуурур-рōhиим
The heavens are about to be rent apart from above them, while the angels celebrate the praise of their Lord and plead for forgiveness for those [faithful] who are on the earth. Indeed, Allah is the All-forgiving, the All-merciful! -
42:6
وَالَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا مِن دُونِهِ أَوْلِيَاءَ اللَّهُ حَفِيظٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَمَا أَنتَ عَلَيْهِم بِوَكِيلٍвəəльлəз̃иинə-ттəхōз̃уу миŋŋ-дууниhи əулийəə`əл-лаhу həфииз̃ун 'əлэйhим вəмəə əŋŋтə 'əлэйhимм-бивəкииль
As for those who have taken awliya besides Him, Allah is watchful over them, and you are not their keeper. -
42:7
وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ قُرْآنًا عَرَبِيًّا لِّتُنذِرَ أُمَّ الْقُرَىٰ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهَا وَتُنذِرَ يَوْمَ الْجَمْعِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ ۚ فَرِيقٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَفَرِيقٌ فِي السَّعِيرِвəкəз̃əəликə əуhəйнəə илəйкə ќур`əəнəн 'əрōбиййəл-литуŋŋз̃ирō уммəль-ќурōō вəмəн həулəhəə вəтуŋŋз̃ирō йəумəль-джəм'и лəə рōйбə фииh, фəрииќун фииль-джəннəти вəфəрииќун фиис-сə'иир
Thus have We revealed to you an Arabic Quran that you may warn [the people of] the Mother of the Towns and those around it, and warn [them] of the Day of Gathering, in which there is no doubt, [whereupon] a part [of mankind] will be in paradise and a part will be in the Blaze. -
42:8
وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَجَعَلَهُمْ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَلَـٰكِن يُدْخِلُ مَن يَشَاءُ فِي رَحْمَتِهِ ۚ وَالظَّالِمُونَ مَا لَهُم مِّن وَلِيٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍвəлəу шəə`əл-лаhу лəджə'əлəhум уммəтəу-вəəhидəтəу-вəлəəкий-йудхылю мəй-йəшəə`у фии рōhмəтиh, вəз̃-з̃ōōлимуунə мəə лəhум-миу-вəлиййиу-вəлəə нəсыыр
Had Allah wished, He would have surely made them one community; but He admits whomever He wishes into His mercy, and the wrongdoers do not have any guardian or helper. -
42:9
أَمِ اتَّخَذُوا مِن دُونِهِ أَوْلِيَاءَ ۖ فَاللَّهُ هُوَ الْوَلِيُّ وَهُوَ يُحْيِي الْمَوْتَىٰ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌəми-ттəхōз̃уу миŋŋ-дууниhи əулийəə, фəл-лаhу hувəль-вəлиййу вəhувə йуhйииль-мəутəə вəhувə 'əлəə кулли шэй`ин ќōдиир
Have they taken awliya besides Him? [Say,] ‘It is Allah, who is the [true] Wali, and He revives the dead, and He has power over all things. -
42:10
وَمَا اخْتَلَفْتُمْ فِيهِ مِن شَيْءٍ فَحُكْمُهُ إِلَى اللَّهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمُ اللَّهُ رَبِّي عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَإِلَيْهِ أُنِيبُвəмəə-хтəлəфтум фииhи миŋŋ-шэй`ин фəhукмуhу илəл-лаh, з̃əəликумул-лаhу рōббии 'əлэйhи тəвəккəльту вə`илəйhи унииб
Whatever thing you may differ about, its judgement is with Allah. That is Allah, my Lord. In Him, I have put my trust, and to Him do I turn penitently. -
42:11
فَاطِرُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا وَمِنَ الْأَنْعَامِ أَزْوَاجًا ۖ يَذْرَؤُكُمْ فِيهِ ۚ لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْءٌ ۖ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُфəəтырус-сəмəəвəəти вəəль`əрд, джə'əлə лəкум-мин əŋŋфусикум əзвəəджəу-вəминəль-əн'əəми əзвəəджə, йəз̃рō`укум фииh, лэйсə кəмиc̃лиhи шэй, вəhувəс-сəмии'уль-бəсыыр
The originator of the heavens and the earth, He made for you mates from your own selves, and mates of the cattle, by which means He multiplies you. Nothing is like Him, and He is the All-hearing, the All-seeing. -
42:12
لَهُ مَقَالِيدُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۖ يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَاءُ وَيَقْدِرُ ۚ إِنَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌлəhу мəќōōлиидус-сəмəəвəəти вəəль`əрд, йəбсутур-ризќō лимəй-йəшəə`у вəйəќдир, иннəhу бикулли шэй`ин 'əлиим
To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth: He expands the provision for whomever He wishes, and tightens it [for whomever He wishes]. Indeed He has knowledge of all things.’ -
42:13
۞ شَرَعَ لَكُم مِّنَ الدِّينِ مَا وَصَّىٰ بِهِ نُوحًا وَالَّذِي أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ وَمَا وَصَّيْنَا بِهِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ وَعِيسَىٰ ۖ أَنْ أَقِيمُوا الدِّينَ وَلَا تَتَفَرَّقُوا فِيهِ ۚ كَبُرَ عَلَى الْمُشْرِكِينَ مَا تَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَيْهِ ۚ اللَّهُ يَجْتَبِي إِلَيْهِ مَن يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي إِلَيْهِ مَن يُنِيبُшəрō'ə лəкум-минəд-диини мəə вəссōō биhи нууhəу-вəəльлəз̃ии əуhəйнəə илəйкə вəмəə вəссōйнəə биhи ибрōōhиимə вəмуусəə вə'иисəə, əн əќиимууд-диинə вəлəə тəтəфəррōќуу фииh, кəбурō 'əлəəль-мушрикиинə мəə тəд'ууhум илəйh, аллаhу йəджтəбии илəйhи мəй-йəшəə`у вəйəhдии илəйhи мəй-йунииб
He has prescribed for you the religion which He had enjoined upon Noah and which We have [also] revealed to you, and which We had enjoined upon Abraham, Moses and Jesus, declaring, ‘Maintain the religion, and do not be divided in it.’ Hard on the polytheists is that to which you summon them. Allah chooses for it whomever He wishes, and He guides to it whomever returns penitently [to Him]. -
42:14
وَمَا تَفَرَّقُوا إِلَّا مِن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَهُمُ الْعِلْمُ بَغْيًا بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ وَلَوْلَا كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ مِن رَّبِّكَ إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى لَّقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ وَإِنَّ الَّذِينَ أُورِثُوا الْكِتَابَ مِن بَعْدِهِمْ لَفِي شَكٍّ مِّنْهُ مُرِيبٍвəмəə тəфəррōќуу ильлəə мимм-бə'ди мəə джəə`əhумуль-'ильму бəґйəмм-бэйнəhум, вəлəулəə кəлимəтун сəбəќōт мир-рōббикə илəə əджəлимм-мусəммəль-лəќудыйə бэйнəhум, вə`иннəль-лəз̃иинə ууриc̃ууль-китəəбə мимм-бə'диhим лəфии шəккимм-минhу мурииб
They did not divide [into sects] except after the knowledge had come to them, out of envy among themselves; and were it not for a prior decree of your Lord [granting them reprieve] until a specified time, decision would have been made between them. Indeed those who were made heirs to the Book after them are in grave doubt concerning it. -
42:15
فَلِذَٰلِكَ فَادْعُ ۖ وَاسْتَقِمْ كَمَا أُمِرْتَ ۖ وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءَهُمْ ۖ وَقُلْ آمَنتُ بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ مِن كِتَابٍ ۖ وَأُمِرْتُ لِأَعْدِلَ بَيْنَكُمُ ۖ اللَّهُ رَبُّنَا وَرَبُّكُمْ ۖ لَنَا أَعْمَالُنَا وَلَكُمْ أَعْمَالُكُمْ ۖ لَا حُجَّةَ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمُ ۖ اللَّهُ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَنَا ۖ وَإِلَيْهِ الْمَصِيرُфəлиз̃əəликə фəəд', вəəстəќим кəмəə умирт, вəлəə тəттəби' əhвəə`əhум, вəќуль əəмəŋŋту бимəə əŋŋзəлəл-лаhу миŋŋ-китəəб, вə`умирту ли`ə'дилə бэйнəкум, аллаhу рōббунəə вəрōббукум, лəнəə ə'мəəлюнəə вəлəкум ə'мəəлюкум, лəə hуджджəтə бэйнəнəə вəбэйнəкум, аллаhу йəджмə'у бэйнəнəə, вə`илəйhиль-мəсыыр
So summon to this [unity of religion], and be steadfast, just as you have been commanded, and do not follow their desires, and say, ‘I believe in whatever Book Allah has sent down. I have been commanded to do justice among you. Allah is our Lord and your Lord. Our deeds belong to us and your deeds belong to you. There is no quarrel between us and you. Allah will bring us together and toward Him is the destination.’ -
42:16
وَالَّذِينَ يُحَاجُّونَ فِي اللَّهِ مِن بَعْدِ مَا اسْتُجِيبَ لَهُ حُجَّتُهُمْ دَاحِضَةٌ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ وَعَلَيْهِمْ غَضَبٌ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌвəəльлəз̃иинə йуhəəджджуунə фиил-лаhи мимм-бə'ди мəə-студжиибə лəhу hуджджəтуhум дəəhидōтун 'иŋŋдə рōббиhим вə'əлэйhим ґōдōбуу-вəлəhум 'əз̃əəбун шəдиид
Those who argue concerning Allah, after His call has been answered, their argument stands refuted with their Lord, and upon them shall be [His] wrath, and there is a severe punishment for them. -
42:17
اللَّهُ الَّذِي أَنزَلَ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ وَالْمِيزَانَ ۗ وَمَا يُدْرِيكَ لَعَلَّ السَّاعَةَ قَرِيبٌаллаhуль-лəз̃ии əŋŋзəлəль-китəəбə би-ль-həќќи вəəльмиизəəн, вəмəə йудриикə лə'əльлəс-сəə'əтə ќōрииб
It is Allah who has sent down the Book with the truth and [He has sent down] the Balance. What do you know—maybe the Hour is near! -
42:18
يَسْتَعْجِلُ بِهَا الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهَا ۖ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مُشْفِقُونَ مِنْهَا وَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّهَا الْحَقُّ ۗ أَلَا إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُمَارُونَ فِي السَّاعَةِ لَفِي ضَلَالٍ بَعِيدٍйəстə'джилю биhəəль-лəз̃иинə лəə йу`минуунə биhəə, вəəльлəз̃иинə əəмəнуу мушфиќуунə минhəə вəйə'лəмуунə əннəhəəль-həќќ, əлəə иннəль-лəз̃иинə йумəəруунə фиис-сəə'əти лəфии дōлəəлимм-бə'иид
Those who do not believe in it ask [you] to hasten it, but those who have faith are apprehensive of it, and know that it is true. Indeed those who are in doubt about the Hour are in extreme error! -
42:20
مَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ حَرْثَ الْآخِرَةِ نَزِدْ لَهُ فِي حَرْثِهِ ۖ وَمَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ حَرْثَ الدُّنْيَا نُؤْتِهِ مِنْهَا وَمَا لَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِن نَّصِيبٍмəŋŋ-кəəнə йурииду həрc̃əль-əəхырōти нəзид лəhу фии həрc̃иh, вəмəŋŋ-кəəнə йурииду həрc̃əд-дунйəə ну`тиhи минhəə вəмəə лəhу фииль-əəхырōти мин-нəсыыб
Whoever desires the tillage of the Hereafter, We will enhance for him his tillage, and whoever desires the tillage of the world, We will give it to him, but he will have no share in the Hereafter.
