бисми-Ллəhи ррōhмəəни ррōhиим
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
1Ayah 1
أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصْحَـٰبِ ٱلْفِيلِ١
əлəм тəрō кəйфə фə'əлə рōббукə биəсhəəбиль-фииль
Have you not regarded how your Lord dealt with the army of the elephants?
2Ayah 2
أَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ فِى تَضْلِيلٍ٢
əлəм йəдж'əль кəйдəhум фии тəдлииль
Did He not make their stratagems go awry,
3Ayah 3
وَأَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْرًا أَبَابِيلَ٣
вəəрсəлə 'əлэйhим т̣ōйрōн əбəəбииль
and send against them flocks of birds
4Ayah 4
تَرْمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٍ مِّن سِجِّيلٍ٤
тəрмииhимм-биhиджəəрōтимм-миӈ-сиджджииль
pelting them with stones of shale,
5Ayah 5
فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍ مَّأْكُولِۭ٥
фəджə'əлəhум кə'əсфимм-мəкууль
thus making them like chewed-up straw?
