Maytham Al Tammar

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
бисмиль-лəhир-рōhмəəнир-рōhиим
In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful. -
8:1
يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْأَنفَالِ ۖ قُلِ الْأَنفَالُ لِلَّهِ وَالرَّسُولِ ۖ فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَصْلِحُوا ذَاتَ بَيْنِكُمْ ۖ وَأَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَйəс`əлююнəкə 'əниль-əŋŋфəəли ќулиль-əŋŋфəəлю лильлəhи вəр-рōсуули фəəттəќуул-лаhə вə`əслиhуу з̃əəтə бэйникум вə`əтыы'уул-лаhə вəрōсуулəhу иŋŋ-куŋŋтум-му`миниин
They ask you concerning the anfaal. Say, ‘The anfaal belong to Allah and the Apostle.’ So be wary of Allah and settle your differences, and obey Allah and His Apostle, should you be faithful. -
8:2
إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِرَ اللَّهُ وَجِلَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَإِذَا تُلِيَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُهُ زَادَتْهُمْ إِيمَانًا وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَиннəмəəль-му`минуунəль-лəз̃иинə из̃əə з̃укирōл-лаhу вəджилəт ќулююбуhум вə`из̃əə тулийəт 'əлэйhим əəйəəтуhу зəəдəтhум иимəəнəу-вə'əлəə рōббиhим йəтəвəккəлююн
The faithful are only those whose hearts tremble [with awe] when Allah is mentioned, and when His signs are recited to them, they increase their faith, and who put their trust in their Lord, -
8:4
أُولَـٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ حَقًّا ۚ لَّهُمْ دَرَجَاتٌ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ وَمَغْفِرَةٌ وَرِزْقٌ كَرِيمٌуулəə`икə hумуль-му`минуунə həќќō, лəhум дəрōджəəтун 'иŋŋдə рōббиhим вəмəґфирōтуу-вəризќун кəриим
It is they who are truly the faithful. They shall have ranks near their Lord, forgiveness and a noble provision. -
8:5
كَمَا أَخْرَجَكَ رَبُّكَ مِن بَيْتِكَ بِالْحَقِّ وَإِنَّ فَرِيقًا مِّنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ لَكَارِهُونَкəмəə əхрōджəкə рōббукə мимм-бэйтикə би-ль-həќќи вə`иннə фəрииќōмм-минəль-му`миниинə лəкəəриhуун
As your Lord brought you out from your home with a just cause, a part of the faithful were indeed reluctant. -
8:6
يُجَادِلُونَكَ فِي الْحَقِّ بَعْدَمَا تَبَيَّنَ كَأَنَّمَا يُسَاقُونَ إِلَى الْمَوْتِ وَهُمْ يَنظُرُونَйуджəəдилююнəкə фииль-həќќи бə'дəмəə тəбэййəнə кə`əннəмəə йусəəќуунə илəəль-мəути вəhум йəŋŋз̃уруун
They disputed with you concerning the truth after it had become clear, as if they were being driven towards death as they looked on. -
8:7
وَإِذْ يَعِدُكُمُ اللَّهُ إِحْدَى الطَّائِفَتَيْنِ أَنَّهَا لَكُمْ وَتَوَدُّونَ أَنَّ غَيْرَ ذَاتِ الشَّوْكَةِ تَكُونُ لَكُمْ وَيُرِيدُ اللَّهُ أَن يُحِقَّ الْحَقَّ بِكَلِمَاتِهِ وَيَقْطَعَ دَابِرَ الْكَافِرِينَвə`из̃ йə'идукумул-лаhу иhдəəт-тōō`ифəтəйни əннəhəə лəкум вəтəвəддуунə əннə ґōйрō з̃əəтиш-шəукəти тəкууну лəкум вəйуриидул-лаhу əй-йуhиќќōль-həќќō бикəлимəəтиhи вəйəќтō'ə дəəбирōль-кəəфириин
When Allah promised you [victory over] one of the two companies, [saying], ‘It is for you,’ you were eager that it should be the one that was unarmed. But Allah desires to confirm the truth with His words, and to root out the faithless, -
8:9
إِذْ تَسْتَغِيثُونَ رَبَّكُمْ فَاسْتَجَابَ لَكُمْ أَنِّي مُمِدُّكُم بِأَلْفٍ مِّنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ مُرْدِفِينَиз̃ тəстəґииc̃уунə рōббəкум фəəстəджəəбə лəкум əннии мумиддукумм-би`əльфимм-минəль-мəлəə`икəти мурдифиин
When you appealed to your Lord for help, He answered you: ‘I will aid you with a thousand angels in a file.’ -
8:10
وَمَا جَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ إِلَّا بُشْرَىٰ وَلِتَطْمَئِنَّ بِهِ قُلُوبُكُمْ ۚ وَمَا النَّصْرُ إِلَّا مِنْ عِندِ اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌвəмəə джə'əлəhул-лаhу ильлəə бушрōō вəлитəтмə`иннə биhи ќулююбукум, вəмəəн-нəсру ильлəə мин 'иŋŋдиль-лəh, иннəл-лаhə 'əзиизун həкиим
Allah did not appoint it but as a good news, and to reassure your hearts. Victory comes only from Allah. Indeed Allah is all-mighty, all-wise. -
8:11
إِذْ يُغَشِّيكُمُ النُّعَاسَ أَمَنَةً مِّنْهُ وَيُنَزِّلُ عَلَيْكُم مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً لِّيُطَهِّرَكُم بِهِ وَيُذْهِبَ عَنكُمْ رِجْزَ الشَّيْطَانِ وَلِيَرْبِطَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتَ بِهِ الْأَقْدَامَиз̃ йуґōшшиикумун-ну'əəсə əмəнəтəмм-минhу вəйунəззилю 'əлэйкум-минəс-сəмəə`и мəə`əл-лийутōhhирōкумм-биhи вəйуз̃hибə 'əŋŋкум риджзəш-шэйтōōни вəлийəрбитō 'əлəə ќулююбикум вəйуc̃əббитə биhиль-əќдəəм
When He covered you with a trance as a [sense of] security from Him, and He sent down water from the sky to purify you with it, and to repel from you the defilement of Satan, and to fortify your hearts, and to make [your] feet steady with it. -
8:12
إِذْ يُوحِي رَبُّكَ إِلَى الْمَلَائِكَةِ أَنِّي مَعَكُمْ فَثَبِّتُوا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا ۚ سَأُلْقِي فِي قُلُوبِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا الرُّعْبَ فَاضْرِبُوا فَوْقَ الْأَعْنَاقِ وَاضْرِبُوا مِنْهُمْ كُلَّ بَنَانٍиз̃ йууhии рōббукə илəəль-мəлəə`икəти əннии мə'əкум фəc̃əббитууль-лəз̃иинə əəмəнуу, сə`ульќии фии ќулююбиль-лəз̃иинə кəфəруур-ру'бə фəəдрибуу фəуќōль-ə'нəəќи вəəдрибуу минhум кульлə бəнəəн
Then your Lord signaled to the angels: ‘I am indeed with you; so steady the faithful. I will cast terror into the hearts of the faithless. So strike their necks, and strike their every limb joint!’ -
8:13
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ شَاقُّوا اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ ۚ وَمَن يُشَاقِقِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِз̃əəликə би`əннəhум шəəќќуул-лаhə вəрōсуулəh, вəмəй-йушəəќиќиль-лəhə вəрōсуулəhу фə`иннəл-лаhə шəдиидуль-'иќōōб
That, because they defied Allah and His Apostle. And whoever defies Allah and His Apostle, Allah is indeed severe in retribution. -
8:15
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا لَقِيتُمُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا زَحْفًا فَلَا تُوَلُّوهُمُ الْأَدْبَارَйəə əййуhəəль-лəз̃иинə əəмəнуу из̃əə лəќиитумуль-лəз̃иинə кəфəруу зəhфəн фəлəə тувəллююhумуль-əдбəəр
O you who have faith! When you encounter the faithless advancing [for battle], do not turn your backs [to flee] from them. -
8:16
وَمَن يُوَلِّهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ دُبُرَهُ إِلَّا مُتَحَرِّفًا لِّقِتَالٍ أَوْ مُتَحَيِّزًا إِلَىٰ فِئَةٍ فَقَدْ بَاءَ بِغَضَبٍ مِّنَ اللَّهِ وَمَأْوَاهُ جَهَنَّمُ ۖ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُвəмəй-йувəллиhим йəумə`из̃ин дубурōhу ильлəə мутəhəррифəл-лиќитəəлин əу мутəhəййизəн илəə фи`əтин фəќōд бəə`ə биґōдōбимм-минəл-лаhи вəмə`вəəhу джəhəннəм, вəби`сəль-мəсыыр
Whoever turns his back [to flee] from them that day—unless [he is] diverting to fight or retiring towards another troop—shall certainly earn Allah’s wrath, and his refuge shall be hell, an evil destination. -
8:17
فَلَمْ تَقْتُلُوهُمْ وَلَـٰكِنَّ اللَّهَ قَتَلَهُمْ ۚ وَمَا رَمَيْتَ إِذْ رَمَيْتَ وَلَـٰكِنَّ اللَّهَ رَمَىٰ ۚ وَلِيُبْلِيَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْهُ بَلَاءً حَسَنًا ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌфəлəм тəќтулююhум вəлəəкиннəл-лаhə ќōтəлəhум, вəмəə рōмəйтə из̃ рōмəйтə вəлəəкиннəл-лаhə рōмəə, вəлийублийəль-му`миниинə минhу бəлəə`əн həсəнə, иннəл-лаhə сəмии'ун 'əлиим
You did not kill them; rather, it was Allah who killed them; and you did not throw when you threw, rather, it was Allah who threw, that He might test the faithful with a good test from Himself. Indeed Allah is all-hearing, all-knowing. -
8:19
إِن تَسْتَفْتِحُوا فَقَدْ جَاءَكُمُ الْفَتْحُ ۖ وَإِن تَنتَهُوا فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ ۖ وَإِن تَعُودُوا نَعُدْ وَلَن تُغْنِيَ عَنكُمْ فِئَتُكُمْ شَيْئًا وَلَوْ كَثُرَتْ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَиŋŋ-тəстəфтиhуу фəќōд джəə`əкумуль-фəтh, вə`иŋŋ-тəŋŋтəhуу фəhувə хōйруль-лəкум, вə`иŋŋ-тə'уудуу нə'уд вəлəŋŋ-туґнийə 'əŋŋкум фи`əтукум шэй`əу-вəлəу кəc̃урōт вə`əннəл-лаhə мə'əль-му`миниин
If you sought a verdict, the verdict has certainly come to you; and if you cease [your belligerence against the Prophet and his followers], it is better for you, but if you resume, We [too] shall return and your troops will never avail you though they should be ever so many, and [know] that Allah is with the faithful. -
8:20
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَلَا تَوَلَّوْا عَنْهُ وَأَنتُمْ تَسْمَعُونَйəə əййуhəəль-лəз̃иинə əəмəнуу əтыы'уул-лаhə вəрōсуулəhу вəлəə тəвəльлəу 'əнhу вə`əŋŋтум тəсмə'уун
O you who have faith! Obey Allah and His Apostle, and do not turn away from him while you hear [him].
