surah098

لَمْ يَكُنِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ مُنفَكِّينَ حَتَّىٰ تَأْتِيَهُمُ ٱلْبَيِّنَةُ١

лəм йəкуни льлəз̃иинə кəфəруу мин əhлиль-китəəби вəəльмушрикиинə муӈфəккиинə həттəə тəтийəhумуль-бэййинəh

The faithless from among the People of the Book and the polytheists were not set apart [from the community of the faithful] until the proof had come to them:

رَسُولٌ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ يَتْلُواْ صُحُفًا مُّطَهَّرَةً٢

рōсуулюмм-минə ллаhи йəтлюю суhуфəмм-мут̣ōhhəрōh

an apostle from Allah reciting impeccable scriptures,

فِيهَا كُتُبٌ قَيِّمَةٌ٣

фииhəə кутубун ќōййимəh

wherein are upright writings.

وَمَا تَفَرَّقَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَتْهُمُ ٱلْبَيِّنَةُ٤

вəмəə тəфəррōќō льлəз̃иинə уутууль-китəəбə ильлəə мимм-бə'ди мəə джəə'əтhумуль-бэййинəh

Those who were given the Book did not divide except after the proof had come to them.

وَمَآ أُمِرُوٓاْ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ حُنَفَآءَ وَيُقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٲةَ وَيُؤْتُواْ ٱلزَّكَوٲةَ‌ۚ وَذَٲلِكَ دِينُ ٱلْقَيِّمَةِ٥

вəмəə умируу ильлəə лийə'будуу ллаhə мухлисыынə лəhу ддиинə hунəфəə'ə вəйуќиимуу ссōлəəтə вəйу'туу ззəкəəh, вəз̃əəликə диинуль-ќōййимəh

Though they were not commanded except to worship Allah, dedicating their faith to Him as men of pure faith, and to maintain the prayer and pay the zakat. That is the upright religion.

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ فِى نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ‌ۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمْ شَرُّ ٱلْبَرِيَّةِ٦

иннəль-лəз̃иинə кəфəруу мин əhлиль-китəəби вəəльмушрикиинə фии нəəри джəhəннəмə хōōлидиинə фииhəə, уулəə'икə hум шəрруль-бəриййəh

Indeed the faithless from among the People of the Book and the polytheists will be in the fire of hell, to remain in it [forever]. It is they who are the worst of creatures.

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمْ خَيْرُ ٱلْبَرِيَّةِ٧

иннəль-лəз̃иинə əəмəнуу вə'əмилюю ссōōлиhəəти уулəə'икə hум хōйруль-бəриййəh

Indeed those who have faith and do righteous deeds—it is they who are the best of creatures.

جَزَآؤُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنَّـٰتُ عَدْنٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًا‌ۖ رَّضِىَ ٱللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُواْ عَنْهُ‌ۚ ذَٲلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِىَ رَبَّهُۥ٨

джəзəə'уhум 'иӈдə рōббиhим джəннəəту 'əднин тəджрии миӈ-тəhтиhəəль-əнhəəру хōōлидиинə фииhəə əбəдə, рōдыйə ллаhу 'əнhум вəрōдуу 'əнh, з̃əəликə лимəн хōшийə рōббəh

Their reward, near their Lord, is the Gardens of Eden, with streams running in them, to remain in them forever. Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him. That is for those who fear their Lord.
