Maytham Al Tammar

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
бисмиль-лəhир-рōhмəəнир-рōhиим
In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful. -
16:1
أَتَىٰ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ فَلَا تَسْتَعْجِلُوهُ ۚ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَəтəə əмрул-лаhи фəлəə тəстə'джилююhу субhəəнəhу вəтə'əəлəə 'əммəə йушрикуун
Allah’s edict is coming! So do not seek to hasten it. Immaculate is He and exalted above [having] any partners that they ascribe [to Him]. -
16:2
يُنَزِّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةَ بِالرُّوحِ مِنْ أَمْرِهِ عَلَىٰ مَن يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ أَنْ أَنذِرُوا أَنَّهُ لَا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا أَنَا فَاتَّقُونِйунəззилюль-мəлəə`икəтə бир-рууhи мин əмриhи 'əлəə мəй-йəшəə`у мин 'ибəəдиhи əн əŋŋз̃ируу əннəhу лəə илəəhə ильлəə əнəə фəəттəќуун
He sends down the angels with the spirit of His command to whomever He wishes of His servants: ‘Warn [the people] that there is no god except Me; so be wary of Me.’ -
16:7
وَتَحْمِلُ أَثْقَالَكُمْ إِلَىٰ بَلَدٍ لَّمْ تَكُونُوا بَالِغِيهِ إِلَّا بِشِقِّ الْأَنفُسِ ۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكُمْ لَرَءُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌвəтəhмилю əc̃ќōōлəкум илəə бəлəдиль-лəм тəкуунуу бəəлиґииhи ильлəə бишиќќиль-əŋŋфус, иннə рōббəкум лəрō`ууфур-рōhиим
And they bear your burdens to towns, which you could not reach except by straining yourselves. Indeed your Lord is most kind and merciful. -
16:8
وَالْخَيْلَ وَالْبِغَالَ وَالْحَمِيرَ لِتَرْكَبُوهَا وَزِينَةً ۚ وَيَخْلُقُ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَвəəльхōйлə вəəльбиґōōлə вəəльhəмиирō литəркəбууhəə вəзиинəh, вəйəхлюќу мəə лəə тə'лəмуун
And horses, mules and asses, for you to ride them, and for pomp, and He creates what you do not know. -
16:9
وَعَلَى اللَّهِ قَصْدُ السَّبِيلِ وَمِنْهَا جَائِرٌ ۚ وَلَوْ شَاءَ لَهَدَاكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَвə'əлəл-лаhи ќōсдус-сəбиили вəминhəə джəə`ир, вəлəу шəə`ə лəhəдəəкум əджмə'иин
With Allah rests guidance to the straight path, and some of the paths are devious, and had He wished He would have guided you all. -
16:10
هُوَ الَّذِي أَنزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً ۖ لَّكُم مِّنْهُ شَرَابٌ وَمِنْهُ شَجَرٌ فِيهِ تُسِيمُونَhувəль-лəз̃ии əŋŋзəлə минəс-сəмəə`и мəə`ə, лəкум-минhу шəрōōбуу-вəминhу шəджəрун фииhи тусиимуун
It is He who sends down water from the sky: from it you get your drink and with it are [sustained] the plants wherein you pasture your herds. -
16:11
يُنبِتُ لَكُم بِهِ الزَّرْعَ وَالزَّيْتُونَ وَالنَّخِيلَ وَالْأَعْنَابَ وَمِن كُلِّ الثَّمَرَاتِ ۗ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَйумм-биту лəкумм-биhиз-зəр'ə вəз-зəйтуунə вəн-нəхыылə вəəль`ə'нəəбə вəмиŋŋ-куллиc̃-c̃əмəрōōт, иннə фии з̃əəликə лə`əəйəтəл-лиќōумий-йəтəфəккəруун
For you He makes the crops grow with it and olives, date palms, vines, and fruits of all kinds. There is indeed a sign in that for a people who reflect. -
16:12
وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ ۖ وَالنُّجُومُ مُسَخَّرَاتٌ بِأَمْرِهِ ۗ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَвəсəххōрō лəкумуль-лэйлə вəн-нəhəəрō вəш-шəмсə вəəльќōмəр, вəн-нуджууму мусəххōрōōтумм-би`əмриh, иннə фии з̃əəликə лə`əəйəəтил-лиќōумий-йə'ќилююн
He disposed the night and the day for you, and the sun, the moon and the stars are disposed by His command. There are indeed signs in that for people who exercise their reason. -
16:13
وَمَا ذَرَأَ لَكُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مُخْتَلِفًا أَلْوَانُهُ ۗ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يَذَّكَّرُونَвəмəə з̃əрō`ə лəкум фииль-əрды мухтəлифəн əльвəəнуh, иннə фии з̃əəликə лə`əəйəтəл-лиќōумий-йəз̃з̃əккəруун
And [He disposed for your benefit] whatever He has created for you in the earth of diverse hues—there is indeed a sign in that for a people who take admonition. -
16:14
وَهُوَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ الْبَحْرَ لِتَأْكُلُوا مِنْهُ لَحْمًا طَرِيًّا وَتَسْتَخْرِجُوا مِنْهُ حِلْيَةً تَلْبَسُونَهَا وَتَرَى الْفُلْكَ مَوَاخِرَ فِيهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا مِن فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَвəhувəль-лəз̃ии сəххōрōль-бəhрō литə`кулюю минhу лəhмəн тōриййəу-вəтəстəхриджуу минhу hильйəтəн тəльбəсуунəhəə вəтəрōōль-фулькə мəвəəхырō фииhи вəлитəбтəґуу миŋŋ-фəдлиhи вəлə'əльлəкум тəшкуруун
It is He who disposed the sea [for your benefit] that you may eat from it fresh meat, and obtain from it ornaments which you wear, and you see the ships plowing through it, that you may seek His bounty and that you may give thanks. -
16:15
وَأَلْقَىٰ فِي الْأَرْضِ رَوَاسِيَ أَن تَمِيدَ بِكُمْ وَأَنْهَارًا وَسُبُلًا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَвə`əльќōō фииль-əрды рōвəəсийə əŋŋ-тəмиидə бикум вə`əнhəəрōу-вəсубулəль-лə'əльлəкум тəhтəдуун
He cast firm mountains in the earth lest it should shake with you, and [made] streams and ways, so that you may be guided
