صٓ‌ۚ وَٱلْقُرْءَانِ ذِى ٱلذِّكْرِ١

Сад. вəəльќур'əəни з̃ии з̃з̃икр

Suad. By the Quran bearing the Reminder,

بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فِى عِزَّةٍ وَشِقَاقٍ٢

бəли льлəз̃иинə кəфəруу фии 'иззəтиу-вəшиќōōќ

the faithless indeed dwell in conceit and defiance.

كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّن قَرْنٍ فَنَادَواْ وَّلَاتَ حِينَ مَنَاصٍ٣

кəм əhлəкнəə миӈ-ќōблиhим-миӈ-ќōрнин фəнəəдəу-вəлəəтə hиинə мəнəəс

How many a generation We have destroyed before them! They cried out [for help], but gone was the time for escape.

وَعَجِبُوٓاْ أَن جَآءَهُم مُّنذِرٌ مِّنْهُمْ‌ۖ وَقَالَ ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ هَـٰذَا سَـٰحِرٌ كَذَّابٌ٤

вə'əджибуу əӈ-джəə'əhум-муӈз̃ирумм-минhум, вəќōōлəль-кəəфируунə həəз̃əə сəəhирун кəз̃з̃əəб

They consider it odd that there should come to them a warner from among themselves, and the faithless say, ‘This is a magician, a mendacious liar.’

أَجَعَلَ ٱلْأَلِهَةَ إِلَـٰهًا وَٲحِدًا‌ۖ إِنَّ هَـٰذَا لَشَىْءٌ عُجَابٌ٥

əджə'əлəль-'əəлиhəтə илəəhəу-вəəhидə, иннə həəз̃əə лəшэй'ун 'уджəəб

‘Has he reduced the gods to one god? This is indeed an odd thing!’

وَٱنطَلَقَ ٱلْمَلَأُ مِنْهُمْ أَنِ ٱمْشُواْ وَٱصْبِرُواْ عَلَىٰٓ ءَالِهَتِكُمْ‌ۖ إِنَّ هَـٰذَا لَشَىْءٌ يُرَادُ٦

вəəӈт̣ōлəќōль-мəлəу минhум əни-мшуу вəəсбируу 'əлəə əəлиhəтикум, иннə həəз̃əə лəшэй'уй-йурōōд

Their elite go about [urging others]: ‘Go and stand by your gods! This is indeed the desirable thing [to do].

مَا سَمِعْنَا بِهَـٰذَا فِى ٱلْمِلَّةِ ٱلْأَخِرَةِ إِنْ هَـٰذَآ إِلَّا ٱخْتِلَـٰقٌ٧

мəə сəми'нəə биhəəз̃əə фииль-мильлəтиль-'əəхырōти ин həəз̃əə ильлəə-хтилəəќ

We did not hear of this in the latter-day creed. This is nothing but a fabrication.

أَءُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ ٱلذِّكْرُ مِنۢ بَيْنِنَا‌ۚ بَلْ هُمْ فِى شَكٍّ مِّن ذِكْرِى‌ۖ بَل لَّمَّا يَذُوقُواْ عَذَابِ٨

əуӈзилə 'əлэйhи з̃з̃икру мимм-бэйнинəə, бəль hум фии шəккимм-миӈ-з̃икрий, бəль-лəммəə йəз̃ууќуу 'əз̃əəб

Has the Reminder been sent down to him out of [all of] us?’ Indeed, they are in doubt concerning My Reminder. Indeed, they have not yet tasted My punishment.

أَمْ عِندَهُمْ خَزَآئِنُ رَحْمَةِ رَبِّكَ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْوَهَّابِ٩

əм 'иӈдəhум хōзəə'ину рōhмəти рōббикəль-'əзиизиль-вəhhəəб

Do they possess the treasuries of the mercy of your Lord, the All-mighty, the All-munificent?

أَمْ لَهُم مُّلْكُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا‌ۖ فَلْيَرْتَقُواْ فِى ٱلْأَسْبَـٰبِ١٠

əм лəhум-мульку ссəмəəвəəти вəəльəрды вəмəə бэйнəhумəə, фəльйəртəќуу фииль-əсбəəб

Do they own the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them? [If so,] let them ascend [to the higher spheres] by the means [of ascension].

جُندٌ مَّا هُنَالِكَ مَهْزُومٌ مِّنَ ٱلْأَحْزَابِ١١

джуӈдумм-мəə hунəəликə мəhзуумумм-минəль-əhзəəб

[They are but] a host routed out there of the factions.

كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ وَعَادٌ وَفِرْعَوْنُ ذُو ٱلْأَوْتَادِ١٢

кəз̃з̃əбəт ќōблəhум ќōуму нууhиу-вə'əəдуу-вəфир'əуну з̃ууль-əутəəд

Before them Noah’s people impugned [their apostle] and [so did the people of] ‘Ad, and Pharaoh, the Impaler [of his victims],

وَثَمُودُ وَقَوْمُ لُوطٍ وَأَصْحَـٰبُ لْــَٔيْكَةِ‌ۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلْأَحْزَابُ١٣

вəc̃əмууду вəќōуму люют̣ыу-вəəсhəəбуль-əйкəh, уулəə'икəль-əhзəəб

and Thamud, and the people of Lot, and the inhabitants of Aykah: those were the factions.

إِن كُلٌّ إِلَّا كَذَّبَ ٱلرُّسُلَ فَحَقَّ عِقَابِ١٤

иӈ-куллюн ильлəə кəз̃з̃əбə ррусулə фəhəќќō 'иќōōб

There was not any one but such as impugned the apostles; so My retribution became due [against them].

وَمَا يَنظُرُ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَٲحِدَةً مَّا لَهَا مِن فَوَاقٍ١٥

вəмəə йəӈз̃уру həə'улəə'и ильлəə сōйhəтəу-вəəhидəтəмм-мəə лəhəə миӈ-фəвəəќ

These [too] do not await but a single Cry, which will not grant [them] any respite.

وَقَالُواْ رَبَّنَا عَجِّل لَّنَا قِطَّنَا قَبْلَ يَوْمِ ٱلْحِسَابِ١٦

вəќōōлюю рōббəнəə 'əджджиль-лəнəə ќит̣т̣ōнəə ќōблə йəумиль-hисəəб

They say, ‘Our Lord! Hasten on for us our share before the Day of Reckoning.’

ٱصْبِرْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَقُولُونَ وَٱذْكُرْ عَبْدَنَا دَاوُۥدَ ذَا ٱلْأَيْدِ‌ۖ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌ١٧

исбир 'əлəə мəə йəќуулююнə вəəз̃кур 'əбдəнəə дəəвуудə з̃əəль-əйд, иннəhу əувəəб

Be patient over what they say, and remember Our servant, David, [the man] of strength. Indeed he was a penitent [soul].

إِنَّا سَخَّرْنَا ٱلْجِبَالَ مَعَهُۥ يُسَبِّحْنَ بِٱلْعَشِىِّ وَٱلْإِشْرَاقِ١٨

иннəə сəххōрнəəль-джибəəлə мə'əhу йусəббиhнə биль-'əшиййи вəəльишрōōќ

We disposed the mountains to glorify [Allah] with him at evening and dawn,

وَٱلطَّيْرَ مَحْشُورَةً‌ۖ كُلٌّ لَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌ١٩

вə т̣т̣ōйрō мəhшуурōh, куллюль-лəhу əувəəб

and the birds [as well], mustered [in flocks]; all echoing him [in a chorus].

وَشَدَدْنَا مُلْكَهُۥ وَءَاتَيْنَـٰهُ ٱلْحِكْمَةَ وَفَصْلَ ٱلْخِطَابِ٢٠

вəшəдəднəə мулькəhу вə'əəтəйнəəhуль-hикмəтə вəфəслəль-хыт̣ōōб

We consolidated his kingdom and gave him wisdom and conclusive speech.

وَهَلْ أَتَـٰكَ نَبَؤُاْ ٱلْخَصْمِ إِذْ تَسَوَّرُواْ ٱلْمِحْرَابَ٢١

вəhəль əтəəкə нəбəуль-хōсми из̃ тəсəувəрууль-миhрōōб

Has there not come to you the account of the contenders, when they scaled the wall into the sanctuary?

إِذْ دَخَلُواْ عَلَىٰ دَاوُۥدَ فَفَزِعَ مِنْهُمْ‌ۖ قَالُواْ لَا تَخَفْ‌ۖ خَصْمَانِ بَغَىٰ بَعْضُنَا عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ فَٱحْكُم بَيْنَنَا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَلَا تُشْطِطْ وَٱهْدِنَآ إِلَىٰ سَوَآءِ ٱلصِّرَٲطِ٢٢

из̃ дəхōлюю 'əлəə дəəвуудə фəфəзи'ə минhум, ќōōлюю лəə тəхōф, хōсмəəни бəґōō бə'дунəə 'əлəə бə'дын фəəhкумм-бэйнəнəə биль-həќќи вəлəə тушт̣ыт̣ вəəhдинəə илəə сəвəə'и ссырōōт̣

When they entered into the presence of David, he was alarmed by them. They said, ‘Do not be afraid. [We are only] two contenders: one of us has bullied the other. So judge justly between us, and do not exceed [the bounds of justice], and show us the right path.’

إِنَّ هَـٰذَآ أَخِى لَهُۥ تِسْعٌ وَتِسْعُونَ نَعْجَةً وَلِىَ نَعْجَةٌ وَٲحِدَةٌ فَقَالَ أَكْفِلْنِيهَا وَعَزَّنِى فِى ٱلْخِطَابِ٢٣

иннə həəз̃əə əхыы лəhу тис'уу-вəтис'уунə нə'джəтəу-вəлийə нə'джəтуу-вəəhидəтун фəќōōлə əкфильнииhəə вə'əззəнии фииль-хыт̣ōōб

‘This brother of mine has ninety-nine ewes, while I have only a single ewe, and [yet] he says, ‘Commit it to my care,’ and he browbeats me in speech.’

قَالَ لَقَدْ ظَلَمَكَ بِسُؤَالِ نَعْجَتِكَ إِلَىٰ نِعَاجِهِۦ‌ۖ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ ٱلْخُلَطَآءِ لَيَبْغِى بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ وَقَلِيلٌ مَّا هُمْ‌ۗ وَظَنَّ دَاوُۥدُ أَنَّمَا فَتَنَّـٰهُ فَٱسْتَغْفَرَ رَبَّهُۥ وَخَرَّ رَاكِعًا وَأَنَابَ٢٤

ќōōлə лəќōд з̃ōлəмəкə бису'əəли нə'джəтикə илəə ни'əəджиh, вəиннə кəc̃иирōмм-минəль-хулəт̣ōō'и лəйəбґии бə'дуhум 'əлəə бə'дын ильлəə льлəз̃иинə əəмəнуу вə'əмилюю ссōōлиhəəти вəќōлиилюмм-мəə hум, вəз̃ōннə дəəвууду əннəмəə фəтəннəəhу фəəстəґфəрō рōббəhу вəхōррō рōōки'əу-вəəнəəб

He said, ‘He has certainly wronged you by asking your ewe in addition to his own ewes, and indeed many partners bully one another, except such as have faith and do righteous deeds, and few are they.’ Then David knew that We had tested him, whereat he pleaded with his Lord for forgiveness, and fell down in prostration and repented.

فَغَفَرْنَا لَهُۥ ذَٲلِكَ‌ۖ وَإِنَّ لَهُۥ عِندَنَا لَزُلْفَىٰ وَحُسْنَ مَــَٔابٍ٢٥

фəґōфəрнəə лəhу з̃əəлик, вəиннə лəhу 'иӈдəнəə лəзульфəə вəhуснə мə'əəб

So We forgave him that, and indeed he has [a station of] nearness with Us and a good destination.

يَـٰدَاوُۥدُ إِنَّا جَعَلْنَـٰكَ خَلِيفَةً فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَٱحْكُم بَيْنَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَلَا تَتَّبِعِ ٱلْهَوَىٰ فَيُضِلَّكَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ‌ۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَضِلُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدُۢ بِمَا نَسُواْ يَوْمَ ٱلْحِسَابِ٢٦

йəə дəəвууду иннəə джə'əльнəəкə хōлиифəтəн фииль-əрды фəəhкумм-бэйнə ннəəси биль-həќќи вəлəə тəттəби'иль-həвəə фəйудыльлəкə 'əӈ-сəбиили льлəh, иннəль-лəз̃иинə йəдыллююнə 'əӈ-сəбиили льлəhи лəhум 'əз̃əəбун шəдиидумм-бимəə нəсуу йəумəль-hисəəб

‘O David! Indeed, We have made you a vicegerent on the earth. So judge between people with justice, and do not follow your desires, or they will lead you astray from the way of Allah. Indeed there is a severe punishment for those who stray from the way of Allah, because of their forgetting the Day of Reckoning.’

وَمَا خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا بَـٰطِلاً‌ۚ ذَٲلِكَ ظَنُّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ‌ۚ فَوَيْلٌ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنَ ٱلنَّارِ٢٧

вəмəə хōлəќнəə ссəмəə'ə вəəльəрдō вəмəə бэйнəhумəə бəəт̣ылə, з̃əəликə з̃ōнну льлəз̃иинə кəфəруу, фəвəйлюл-лильлəз̃иинə кəфəруу минə ннəəр

We did not create the sky and the earth and whatever is between them in vain. That is a conjecture of the faithless. So woe to the faithless for the Fire!

أَمْ نَجْعَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ كَٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ أَمْ نَجْعَلُ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ كَٱلْفُجَّارِ٢٨

əм нəдж'əлю льлəз̃иинə əəмəнуу вə'əмилюю ссōōлиhəəти кəəльмуфсидиинə фииль-əрды əм нəдж'əлюль-муттəќиинə кəəльфуджджəəр

Shall We treat those who have faith and do righteous deeds like those who cause corruption on the earth? Shall We treat the Godwary like the vicious?

كِتَـٰبٌ أَنزَلْنَـٰهُ إِلَيْكَ مُبَـٰرَكٌ لِّيَدَّبَّرُوٓاْ ءَايَـٰتِهِۦ وَلِيَتَذَكَّرَ أُوْلُواْ ٱلْأَلْبَـٰبِ٢٩

китəəбун əӈзəльнəəhу илəйкə мубəəрōкул-лийəддəббəруу əəйəəтиhи вəлийəтəз̃əккəрō уулююль-əльбəəб

[This is] a blessed Book that We have sent down to you, so that they may contemplate its signs, and that those who possess intellect may take admonition.

وَوَهَبْنَا لِدَاوُۥدَ سُلَيْمَـٰنَ‌ۚ نِعْمَ ٱلْعَبْدُ‌ۖ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌ٣٠

вəвəhəбнəə лидəəвуудə сулəймəəн, ни'мəль-'əбд, иннəhу əувəəб

And to David We gave Solomon—what an excellent servant he was! Indeed, he was a penitent [soul].

إِذْ عُرِضَ عَلَيْهِ بِٱلْعَشِىِّ ٱلصَّـٰفِنَـٰتُ ٱلْجِيَادُ٣١

из̃ 'уридō 'əлэйhи биль-'əшиййи ссōōфинəəтуль-джийəəд

One evening when there were displayed before him prancing steeds,

فَقَالَ إِنِّىٓ أَحْبَبْتُ حُبَّ ٱلْخَيْرِ عَن ذِكْرِ رَبِّى حَتَّىٰ تَوَارَتْ بِٱلْحِجَابِ٣٢

фəќōōлə иннии əhбəбту hуббəль-хōйри 'əӈ-з̃икри рōббии həттəə тəвəəрōт биль-hиджəəб

he said, ‘Indeed I have preferred the love of [worldly] niceties to the remembrance of my Lord until [the sun] disappeared behind the [night’s] veil.’

رُدُّوهَا عَلَىَّ‌ۖ فَطَفِقَ مَسْحَۢا بِٱلسُّوقِ وَٱلْأَعْنَاقِ٣٣

руддууhəə 'əлэйй, фəт̣ōфиќō мəсhəмм-бис-сууќи вəəльə'нəəќ

‘Bring it back for me!’ Then he [and others] began to wipe [their] legs and necks.

وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا سُلَيْمَـٰنَ وَأَلْقَيْنَا عَلَىٰ كُرْسِيِّهِۦ جَسَدًا ثُمَّ أَنَابَ٣٤

вəлəќōд фəтəннəə сулəймəəнə вəəльќōйнəə 'əлəə курсиййиhи джəсəдəн c̃уммə əнəəб

Certainly We tried Solomon, and cast a [lifeless] body on his throne. Thereupon he was penitent.

قَالَ رَبِّ ٱغْفِرْ لِى وَهَبْ لِى مُلْكًا لَّا يَنۢبَغِى لِأَحَدٍ مِّنۢ بَعْدِىٓ‌ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْوَهَّابُ٣٥

ќōōлə рōбби-ґфир лии вəhəб лии мулькəль-лəə йəмм-бəґии лиəhəдимм-мимм-бə'дий, иннəкə əӈтəль-вəhhəəб

He said, ‘My Lord! Forgive me, and grant me a kingdom that will not befit anyone except me. Indeed You are the All-munificent.’

فَسَخَّرْنَا لَهُ ٱلرِّيحَ تَجْرِى بِأَمْرِهِۦ رُخَآءً حَيْثُ أَصَابَ٣٦

фəсəххōрнəə лəhу ррииhə тəджрии биəмриhи рухōō'əн həйc̃у əсōōб

So We disposed the wind for him, blowing softly wherever he intended by his command,

وَٱلشَّيَـٰطِينَ كُلَّ بَنَّآءٍ وَغَوَّاصٍ٣٧

вə шшəйəəт̣ыынə кульлə бəннəə'иу-вəґōувəəс

and every builder and diver from the demons,

وَءَاخَرِينَ مُقَرَّنِينَ فِى ٱلْأَصْفَادِ٣٨

вə'əəхōриинə муќōррōниинə фииль-əсфəəд

and others [too] bound together in chains.

هَـٰذَا عَطَآؤُنَا فَٱمْنُنْ أَوْ أَمْسِكْ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ٣٩

həəз̃əə 'əт̣ōō'унəə фəəмнун əу əмсик биґōйри hисəəб

‘This is Our bounty: so withhold or bestow without any reckoning.’

وَإِنَّ لَهُۥ عِندَنَا لَزُلْفَىٰ وَحُسْنَ مَــَٔابٍ٤٠

вəиннə лəhу 'иӈдəнəə лəзульфəə вəhуснə мə'əəб

Indeed he has [a station of] nearness with Us and a good destination.

وَٱذْكُرْ عَبْدَنَآ أَيُّوبَ إِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُۥٓ أَنِّى مَسَّنِىَ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُ بِنُصْبٍ وَعَذَابٍ٤١

вəəз̃кур 'əбдəнəə əййуубə из̃ нəəдəə рōббəhу əннии мəссəнийə шшэйт̣ōōну бинусбиу-вə'əз̃əəб

And remember Our servant Job [in the Quran]. When he called out to his Lord, ‘The devil has visited on me hardship and torment,’

ٱرْكُضْ بِرِجْلِكَ‌ۖ هَـٰذَا مُغْتَسَلُۢ بَارِدٌ وَشَرَابٌ٤٢

уркуд бириджлик, həəз̃əə муґтəсəлюмм-бəəридуу-вəшəрōōб

[We told him:] ‘Stamp your foot on the ground; this [ensuing spring] will be a cooling bath and drink.’

وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُۥٓ أَهْلَهُۥ وَمِثْلَهُم مَّعَهُمْ رَحْمَةً مِّنَّا وَذِكْرَىٰ لِأُوْلِى ٱلْأَلْبَـٰبِ٤٣

вəвəhəбнəə лəhу əhлəhу вəмиc̃лəhум-мə'əhум рōhмəтəмм-миннəə вəз̃икрōō лиуулииль-əльбəəб

We gave [back] his family to him along with others like them, as a mercy from Us and an admonition for those who possess intellect.

وَخُذْ بِيَدِكَ ضِغْثًا فَٱضْرِب بِّهِۦ وَلَا تَحْنَثْ‌ۗ إِنَّا وَجَدْنَـٰهُ صَابِرًا‌ۚ نِّعْمَ ٱلْعَبْدُ‌ۖ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌ٤٤

вəхуз̃ бийəдикə дыґc̃əн фəəдриб-биhи вəлəə тəhнəc̃, иннəə вəджəднəəhу сōōбирō, ни'мəль-'əбд, иннəhу əувəəб

[We told him:] ‘Take a faggot in your hand and then strike [your wife] with it, but do not break [your] oath.’ Indeed, We found him to be patient. What an excellent servant! Indeed he was a penitent [soul].

وَٱذْكُرْ عِبَـٰدَنَآ إِبْرَٲهِيمَ وَإِسْحَـٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ أُوْلِى ٱلْأَيْدِى وَٱلْأَبْصَـٰرِ٤٥

вəəз̃кур 'ибəəдəнəə ибрōōhиимə вəисhəəќō вəйə'ќуубə уулииль-əйдии вəəльəбсōōр

And remember Our servants, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, men of strength and insight.

إِنَّآ أَخْلَصْنَـٰهُم بِخَالِصَةٍ ذِكْرَى ٱلدَّارِ٤٦

иннəə əхлəснəəhумм-бихōōлисōтин з̃икрōō ддəəр

Indeed We purified them with exclusive remembrance of the abode [of the Hereafter].

وَإِنَّهُمْ عِندَنَا لَمِنَ ٱلْمُصْطَفَيْنَ ٱلْأَخْيَارِ٤٧

вəиннəhум 'иӈдəнəə лəминəль-муст̣ōфəйнəль-əхйəəр

Indeed they are surely with Us among the elect of the best.

وَٱذْكُرْ إِسْمَـٰعِيلَ وَٱلْيَسَعَ وَذَا ٱلْكِفْلِ‌ۖ وَكُلٌّ مِّنَ ٱلْأَخْيَارِ٤٨

вəəз̃кур исмəə'иилə вəəльйəсə'ə вəз̃əəль-кифль, вəкуллюмм-минəль-əхйəəр

And remember Ishmael, Elisha and Dhu’l-Kifl—each [of whom was] among the elect.

هَـٰذَا ذِكْرٌ‌ۚ وَإِنَّ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ لَحُسْنَ مَــَٔابٍ٤٩

həəз̃əə з̃икр, вəиннə ли-ль-муттəќиинə лəhуснə мə'əəб

This is a Reminder, and indeed the Godwary have a good destination:

جَنَّـٰتِ عَدْنٍ مُّفَتَّحَةً لَّهُمُ ٱلْأَبْوَٲبُ٥٠

джəннəəти 'əднимм-муфəттəhəтəль-лəhумуль-əбвəəб

the Gardens of Eden, whose gates will be flung open for them.

مُتَّكِــِٔينَ فِيهَا يَدْعُونَ فِيهَا بِفَـٰكِهَةٍ كَثِيرَةٍ وَشَرَابٍ٥١

муттəки'иинə фииhəə йəд'уунə фииhəə бифəəкиhəтин кəc̃иирōтиу-вəшəрōōб

Reclining therein [on couches], they will call for abundant fruits and drinks,

وَعِندَهُمْ قَـٰصِرَٲتُ ٱلطَّرْفِ أَتْرَابٌ٥٢

вə'иӈдəhум ќōōсырōōту т̣т̣ōрфи əтрōōб

and there will be with them maidens of restrained glances, of a like age.

هَـٰذَا مَا تُوعَدُونَ لِيَوْمِ ٱلْحِسَابِ٥٣

həəз̃əə мəə туу'əдуунə лийəумиль-hисəəб

This is what you are promised on the Day of Reckoning.

إِنَّ هَـٰذَا لَرِزْقُنَا مَا لَهُۥ مِن نَّفَادٍ٥٤

иннə həəз̃əə лəризќунəə мəə лəhу мин-нəфəəд

This is Our provision, which will never be exhausted.

هَـٰذَا‌ۚ وَإِنَّ لِلطَّـٰغِينَ لَشَرَّ مَــَٔابٍ٥٥

həəз̃əə, вəиннə лит̣-т̣ōōґиинə лəшəррō мə'əəб

This [will be for the righteous], and as for the rebellious there will surely be a bad destination:

جَهَنَّمَ يَصْلَوْنَهَا فَبِئْسَ ٱلْمِهَادُ٥٦

джəhəннəмə йəслəунəhəə фəби'сəль-миhəəд

hell, which they shall enter, an evil resting place.

هَـٰذَا فَلْيَذُوقُوهُ حَمِيمٌ وَغَسَّاقٌ٥٧

həəз̃əə фəльйəз̃ууќууhу həмиимуу-вəґōссəəќ

[They will be told, ‘This is scalding water and pus; let them taste it,

وَءَاخَرُ مِن شَكْلِهِۦٓ أَزْوَٲجٌ٥٨

вə'əəхōру миӈ-шəклиhи əзвəəдж

and other kinds [of torments] resembling it.’

هَـٰذَا فَوْجٌ مُّقْتَحِمٌ مَّعَكُمْ‌ۖ لَا مَرْحَبَۢا بِهِمْ‌ۚ إِنَّهُمْ صَالُواْ ٱلنَّارِ٥٩

həəз̃əə фəуджумм-муќтəhимумм-мə'əкум, лəə мəрhəбəмм-биhим, иннəhум сōōлюю ннəəр

[The leaders of the faithless will be told,] ‘This is a group [of your followers] plunging [into hell] along with you.’ [They will repond,] ‘May wretchedness be their lot! For they will enter the Fire.’

قَالُواْ بَلْ أَنتُمْ لَا مَرْحَبَۢا بِكُمْ‌ۖ أَنتُمْ قَدَّمْتُمُوهُ لَنَا‌ۖ فَبِئْسَ ٱلْقَرَارُ٦٠

ќōōлюю бəль əӈтум лəə мəрhəбəмм-бикум, əӈтум ќōддəмтумууhу лəнəə, фəби'сəль-ќōрōōр

They will say, ‘No, may wretchedness be your lot! You prepared this [hell] for us. What an evil abode!’

قَالُواْ رَبَّنَا مَن قَدَّمَ لَنَا هَـٰذَا فَزِدْهُ عَذَابًا ضِعْفًا فِى ٱلنَّارِ٦١

ќōōлюю рōббəнəə мəӈ-ќōддəмə лəнəə həəз̃əə фəзидhу 'əз̃əəбəн ды'фəн фии ннəəр

They will say, ‘Our Lord! Whoever has prepared this for us, double his punishment in the Fire!’

وَقَالُواْ مَا لَنَا لَا نَرَىٰ رِجَالاً كُنَّا نَعُدُّهُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَشْرَارِ٦٢

вəќōōлюю мəə лəнəə лəə нəрōō риджəəлəн куннəə нə'уддуhум-минəль-əшрōōр

And they will say, ‘Why is it that we do not see [here] men whom we used to count among the bad ones,

أَتَّخَذْنَـٰهُمْ سِخْرِيًّا أَمْ زَاغَتْ عَنْهُمُ ٱلْأَبْصَـٰرُ٦٣

əттəхōз̃нəəhум сихриййəн əм зəəґōт 'əнhумуль-əбсōōр

ridiculing them, or do [our] eyes miss them [here]?’

إِنَّ ذَٲلِكَ لَحَقٌّ تَخَاصُمُ أَهْلِ ٱلنَّارِ٦٤

иннə з̃əəликə лəhəќќун тəхōōсуму əhли ннəəр

That is indeed a true account of the contentions of the inmates of the Fire.

قُلْ إِنَّمَآ أَنَا۟ مُنذِرٌ‌ۖ وَمَا مِنْ إِلَـٰهٍ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ ٱلْوَٲحِدُ ٱلْقَهَّارُ٦٥

ќуль иннəмəə əнəə муӈз̃ир, вəмəə мин илəəhин ильлəə ллаhуль-вəəhидуль-ќōhhəəр

Say, ‘I am just a warner, and there is no god except Allah, the One, the All-paramount,

رَبُّ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْغَفَّـٰرُ٦٦

рōббу ссəмəəвəəти вəəльəрды вəмəə бэйнəhумəəль-'əзиизуль-ґōффəəр

the Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the All-mighty, the All-forgiver.’

قُلْ هُوَ نَبَؤٌاْ عَظِيمٌ٦٧

ќуль hувə нəбəун 'əз̃ыым

Say, ‘It is a great prophesy,

أَنتُمْ عَنْهُ مُعْرِضُونَ٦٨

əӈтум 'əнhу му'ридуун

of which you are disregardful.

مَا كَانَ لِىَ مِنْ عِلْمِۭ بِٱلْمَلَإِ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰٓ إِذْ يَخْتَصِمُونَ٦٩

мəə кəəнə лийə мин 'ильмимм-биль-мəлəиль-ə'лəə из̃ йəхтəсымуун

I have no knowledge of the Supernal Elite when they contend.

إِن يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَىَّ إِلَّآ أَنَّمَآ أَنَا۟ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ٧٠

ий-йууhəə илəййə ильлəə əннəмəə əнəə нəз̃иирумм-мубиин

All that is revealed to me is that I am just a manifest warner.’

إِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ إِنِّى خَـٰلِقُۢ بَشَرًا مِّن طِينٍ٧١

из̃ ќōōлə рōббукə ли-ль-мəлəə'икəти иннии хōōлиќумм-бəшəрōмм-миӈ-т̣ыын

When your Lord said to the angels, ‘Indeed I am about to create a human being out of clay.

فَإِذَا سَوَّيْتُهُۥ وَنَفَخْتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِى فَقَعُواْ لَهُۥ سَـٰجِدِينَ٧٢

фəиз̃əə сəувəйтуhу вəнəфəхту фииhи мир-рууhии фəќō'уу лəhу сəəджидиин

So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My spirit, then fall down in prostration before him.’

فَسَجَدَ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ كُلُّهُمْ أَجْمَعُونَ٧٣

фəсəджəдəль-мəлəə'икəту куллюhум əджмə'уун

Thereat the angels prostrated, all of them together,

إِلَّآ إِبْلِيسَ ٱسْتَكْبَرَ وَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ٧٤

ильлəə иблиисə-стəкбəрō вəкəəнə минəль-кəəфириин

but not Iblis; he acted arrogantly and he was one of the faithless.

قَالَ يَـٰٓإِبْلِيسُ مَا مَنَعَكَ أَن تَسْجُدَ لِمَا خَلَقْتُ بِيَدَىَّ‌ۖ أَسْتَكْبَرْتَ أَمْ كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلْعَالِينَ٧٥

ќōōлə йəə иблиису мəə мəнə'əкə əӈ-тəсджудə лимəə хōлəќту бийəдəйй, əстəкбəртə əм куӈтə минəль-'əəлиин

He said, ‘O Iblis! What keeps you from prostrating before that which I have created with My [own] two hands? Are you arrogant, or are you one of the exalted ones?’

قَالَ أَنَا۟ خَيْرٌ مِّنْهُ‌ۖ خَلَقْتَنِى مِن نَّارٍ وَخَلَقْتَهُۥ مِن طِينٍ٧٦

ќōōлə əнəə хōйрумм-минh, хōлəќтəнии мин-нəəриу-вəхōлəќтəhу миӈ-т̣ыын

‘I am better than him,’ he said. ‘You created me from fire and You created him from clay.’

قَالَ فَٱخْرُجْ مِنْهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِيمٌ٧٧

ќōōлə фəəхрудж минhəə фəиннəкə рōджиим

He said, ‘Begone hence, for you are indeed an outcast,

وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكَ لَعْنَتِىٓ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ٧٨

вəиннə 'əлэйкə лə'нəтии илəə йəумид-диин

and indeed My curse will be on you till the Day of Retribution.’

قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرْنِىٓ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ٧٩

ќōōлə рōбби фəəӈз̃ырнии илəə йəуми йуб'əc̃уун

He said, ‘My Lord! Respite me till the day they will be resurrected.’

قَالَ فَإِنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْمُنظَرِينَ٨٠

ќōōлə фəиннəкə минəль-муӈз̃ōриин

Said He, ‘You are indeed among the reprieved

إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْوَقْتِ ٱلْمَعْلُومِ٨١

илəə йəумиль-вəќтиль-мə'лююм

until the day of the known time.’

قَالَ فَبِعِزَّتِكَ لَأُغْوِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ٨٢

ќōōлə фəби'иззəтикə лəуґвийəннəhум əджмə'иин

He said, ‘By Your might, I will surely pervert them,

إِلَّا عِبَادَكَ مِنْهُمُ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ٨٣

ильлəə 'ибəəдəкə минhумуль-мухлəсыын

except Your exclusive servants among them.’

قَالَ فَٱلْحَقُّ وَٱلْحَقَّ أَقُولُ٨٤

ќōōлə фəəльhəќќу вəəльhəќќō əќууль

Said He, ‘The truth is that—and I speak the truth—

لَأَمْلَأَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنكَ وَمِمَّن تَبِعَكَ مِنْهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ٨٥

лəəмлəəннə джəhəннəмə миӈкə вəмиммəӈ-тəби'əкə минhум əджмə'иин

I will surely fill hell with you and all those who follow you.’

قُلْ مَآ أَسْــَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ وَمَآ أَنَا۟ مِنَ ٱلْمُتَكَلِّفِينَ٨٦

ќуль мəə əсəлюкум 'əлэйhи мин əджриу-вəмəə əнəə минəль-мутəкəллифиин

Say, ‘I do not ask you any reward for it, and I am no impostor.

إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ لِّلْعَـٰلَمِينَ٨٧

ин hувə ильлəə з̃икрул-ли-ль-'əəлəмиин

It is just a reminder for all the nations,

وَلَتَعْلَمُنَّ نَبَأَهُۥ بَعْدَ حِينِۭ٨٨

вəлəтə'лəмуннə нəбəəhу бə'дə hиин

and you will surely learn its tidings in due time.’
