    كَلَّا إِذَا دُكَّتِ الْأَرْضُ دَكًّا دَكًّا

    кəльлəə из̃əə дуккəтиль-əрду дəккəн дəккə

    No indeed! When the earth is levelled to a plain,

    وَجَاءَ رَبُّكَ وَالْمَلَكُ صَفًّا صَفًّا

    вəджəə`ə рōббукə вəəльмəлəку сōффəн сōффə

    and your Lord [’s edict] arrives with the angels in ranks,

    وَجِيءَ يَوْمَئِذٍ بِجَهَنَّمَ  ۚ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَتَذَكَّرُ الْإِنسَانُ وَأَنَّىٰ لَهُ الذِّكْرَىٰ

    вəджии`ə йəумə`из̃имм-биджəhəннəм, йəумə`из̃ий-йəтəз̃əккəруль-иŋŋсəəну вə`əннəə лəhуз̃-з̃икрōō

    the day when hell is brought [near], man will take admonition on that day, but what will that admonition avail him?

    يَقُولُ يَا لَيْتَنِي قَدَّمْتُ لِحَيَاتِي

    йəќуулю йəə лэйтəнии ќōддəмту лиhəйəəтий

    He will say, ‘Alas, had I sent ahead for my life [in the Hereafter]!’

    فَيَوْمَئِذٍ لَّا يُعَذِّبُ عَذَابَهُ أَحَدٌ

    фəйəумə`из̃иль-лəə йу'əз̃з̃ибу 'əз̃əəбəhу əhəд

    On that day none shall punish as He punishes,

    وَلَا يُوثِقُ وَثَاقَهُ أَحَدٌ

    вəлəə йууc̃иќу вəc̃əəќōhу əhəд

    and none shall bind as He binds.

    يَا أَيَّتُهَا النَّفْسُ الْمُطْمَئِنَّةُ

    йəə əййəтуhəəн-нəфсуль-мутмə`иннəh

    ‘O soul at peace!

    ارْجِعِي إِلَىٰ رَبِّكِ رَاضِيَةً مَّرْضِيَّةً

    ирджи'ии илəə рōббики рōōдыйəтəмм-мəрдыййəh

    Return to your Lord, pleased and pleasing!

    فَادْخُلِي فِي عِبَادِي

    фəəдхулии фии 'ибəəдий

    Then enter among My servants,

    وَادْخُلِي جَنَّتِي
