  • 28:61

    أَفَمَن وَعَدْنَاهُ وَعْدًا حَسَنًا فَهُوَ لَاقِيهِ كَمَن مَّتَّعْنَاهُ مَتَاعَ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ثُمَّ هُوَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مِنَ الْمُحْضَرِينَ

    əфəмəу-вə'əднəəhу вə'дəн həсəнəн фəhувə лəəќииhи кəмəмм-мəттə'нəəhу мəтəə'əль-həйəəтид-дунйəə c̃уммə hувə йəумəль-ќийəəмəти минəль-муhдōриин

    Is he to whom We have given a good promise, which he will receive, like him whom We have provided the wares of the life of this world, but who will be arraigned on the Day of Resurrection?
  • 28:62

    وَيَوْمَ يُنَادِيهِمْ فَيَقُولُ أَيْنَ شُرَكَائِيَ الَّذِينَ كُنتُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ

    вəйəумə йунəəдииhим фəйəќуулю əйнə шурōкəə`ийəль-лəз̃иинə куŋŋтум тəз'умуун

    The day He will call out to them and ask, ‘Where are My ‘partners’ that you used to claim?’
  • 28:63

    قَالَ الَّذِينَ حَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقَوْلُ رَبَّنَا هَـٰؤُلَاءِ الَّذِينَ أَغْوَيْنَا أَغْوَيْنَاهُمْ كَمَا غَوَيْنَا  ۖ تَبَرَّأْنَا إِلَيْكَ  ۖ مَا كَانُوا إِيَّانَا يَعْبُدُونَ

    ќōōлəль-лəз̃иинə həќќō 'əлэйhимуль-ќōулю рōббəнəə həə`улəə`иль-лəз̃иинə əґвəйнəə əґвəйнəəhум кəмəə ґōвəйнəə, тəбəррō`нəə илəйк, мəə кəəнуу иййəəнəə йə'будуун

    Those against whom the word had become due will say, ‘Our Lord! These are the ones whom we have perverted. We perverted them as we were perverse ourselves. We repudiate them before You: it was not us that they worshipped.’
  • 28:64

    وَقِيلَ ادْعُوا شُرَكَاءَكُمْ فَدَعَوْهُمْ فَلَمْ يَسْتَجِيبُوا لَهُمْ وَرَأَوُا الْعَذَابَ  ۚ لَوْ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يَهْتَدُونَ

    вəќиилə-д'уу шурōкəə`əкум фəдə'əуhум фəлəм йəстəджиибуу лəhум вəрō`əвуль-'əз̃əəб, лəу əннəhум кəəнуу йəhтəдуун

    It will be said, ‘Invoke your partners!’ So they will invoke them, but they will not respond to them, and they will sight the punishment, wishing they had followed guidance.
  • 28:65

    وَيَوْمَ يُنَادِيهِمْ فَيَقُولُ مَاذَا أَجَبْتُمُ الْمُرْسَلِينَ

    вəйəумə йунəəдииhим фəйəќуулю мəəз̃əə əджəбтумуль-мурсəлиин

    The day He will call out to them and say, ‘What response did you give to the apostles?’
  • 28:66

    فَعَمِيَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الْأَنبَاءُ يَوْمَئِذٍ فَهُمْ لَا يَتَسَاءَلُونَ

    фə'əмийəт 'əлэйhимуль-əмм-бəə`у йəумə`из̃ин фəhум лəə йəтəсəə`əлююн

    That day all information will be withheld from them, so they will not question one another.
  • 28:67

    فَأَمَّا مَن تَابَ وَآمَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَعَسَىٰ أَن يَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُفْلِحِينَ

    фə`əммəə мəŋŋ-тəəбə вə`əəмəнə вə'əмилə сōōлиhəн фə'əсəə əй-йəкуунə минəль-муфлиhиин

    As for him who repents, has faith and acts righteously, maybe he will be among the felicitous.
  • 28:68

    وَرَبُّكَ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَاءُ وَيَخْتَارُ  ۗ مَا كَانَ لَهُمُ الْخِيَرَةُ  ۚ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَتَعَالَىٰ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ

    вəрōббукə йəхлюќу мəə йəшəə`у вəйəхтəəр, мəə кəəнə лəhумуль-хыйəрōh, субhəəнəл-лаhи вəтə'əəлəə 'əммəə йушрикуун

    Your Lord creates whatever He wishes and chooses: they have no choice. Immaculate is Allah and exalted above [having] any partners that they ascribe [to Him].
  • 28:69

    وَرَبُّكَ يَعْلَمُ مَا تُكِنُّ صُدُورُهُمْ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ

    вəрōббукə йə'лəму мəə тукинну судууруhум вəмəə йу'линуун

    Your Lord knows whatever their breasts conceal, and whatever they disclose.
  • 28:70

    وَهُوَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ  ۖ لَهُ الْحَمْدُ فِي الْأُولَىٰ وَالْآخِرَةِ  ۖ وَلَهُ الْحُكْمُ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ

    вəhувəл-лаhу лəə илəəhə ильлəə hуу, лəhуль-həмду фииль-уулəə вəəль`əəхырōh, вəлəhуль-hукму вə`илəйhи турджə'уун

    He is Allah, there is no god except Him. All praise belongs to Him in this world and the Hereafter. All judgement belongs to Him, and to Him you will be brought back.
  • 28:71

    قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِن جَعَلَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمُ اللَّيْلَ سَرْمَدًا إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ مَنْ إِلَـٰهٌ غَيْرُ اللَّهِ يَأْتِيكُم بِضِيَاءٍ  ۖ أَفَلَا تَسْمَعُونَ

    ќуль əрō`əйтум иŋŋ-джə'əлəл-лаhу 'əлэйкумуль-лэйлə сəрмəдəн илəə йəумиль-ќийəəмəти мəн илəəhун ґōйрул-лаhи йə`тиикумм-бидыйəə, əфəлəə тəсмə'уун

    Say, ‘Tell me, if Allah were to make the night perpetual for you until the Day of Resurrection, what god other than Allah can bring you light? Will you not listen?’
  • 28:72

    قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِن جَعَلَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمُ النَّهَارَ سَرْمَدًا إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ مَنْ إِلَـٰهٌ غَيْرُ اللَّهِ يَأْتِيكُم بِلَيْلٍ تَسْكُنُونَ فِيهِ  ۖ أَفَلَا تُبْصِرُونَ

    ќуль əрō`əйтум иŋŋ-джə'əлəл-лаhу 'əлэйкумун-нəhəəрō сəрмəдəн илəə йəумиль-ќийəəмəти мəн илəəhун ґōйрул-лаhи йə`тиикумм-билəйлин тəскунуунə фииh, əфəлəə тубсыруун

    Say, ‘Tell me, if Allah were to make the day perpetual for you until the Day of Resurrection, what god other than Allah can bring you night wherein you can rest? Will you not perceive?’
  • 28:73

    وَمِن رَّحْمَتِهِ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ لِتَسْكُنُوا فِيهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا مِن فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ

    вəмир-рōhмəтиhи джə'əлə лəкумуль-лэйлə вəн-нəhəəрō литəскунуу фииhи вəлитəбтəґуу миŋŋ-фəдлиhи вəлə'əльлəкум тəшкуруун

    He has made for you the night and the day out of His mercy, so that you may rest therein and that you may seek His bounty and so that you may give thanks.

    وَيَوْمَ يُنَادِيهِمْ فَيَقُولُ أَيْنَ شُرَكَائِيَ الَّذِينَ كُنتُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ

    вəйəумə йунəəдииhим фəйəќуулю əйнə шурōкəə`ийəль-лəз̃иинə куŋŋтум тəз'умуун

    The day He will call out to them and say, ‘Where are My ‘partners’ that you used to claim?’
  • 28:75

    وَنَزَعْنَا مِن كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ شَهِيدًا فَقُلْنَا هَاتُوا بُرْهَانَكُمْ فَعَلِمُوا أَنَّ الْحَقَّ لِلَّهِ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا يَفْتَرُونَ

    вəнəзə'нəə миŋŋ-кулли уммəтин шəhиидəн фəќульнəə həəтуу бурhəəнəкум фə'əлимуу əннəль-həќќō лильлəhи вəдōльлə 'əнhум-мəə кəəнуу йəфтəруун

    We shall draw from every nation a witness and say, ‘Produce your evidence.’ Then they will know that all reality belongs to Allah and what they used to fabricate will forsake them.
  • 28:76

     ۞ إِنَّ قَارُونَ كَانَ مِن قَوْمِ مُوسَىٰ فَبَغَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ  ۖ وَآتَيْنَاهُ مِنَ الْكُنُوزِ مَا إِنَّ مَفَاتِحَهُ لَتَنُوءُ بِالْعُصْبَةِ أُولِي الْقُوَّةِ إِذْ قَالَ لَهُ قَوْمُهُ لَا تَفْرَحْ  ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْفَرِحِينَ

    иннə ќōōруунə кəəнə миŋŋ-ќōуми муусəə фəбəґōō 'əлэйhим, вə`əəтəйнəəhу минəль-кунуузи мəə иннə мəфəəтиhəhу лəтəнуу`у би-ль-'усбəти уулииль-ќуувəти из̃ ќōōлə лəhу ќōумуhу лəə тəфрōh, иннəл-лаhə лəə йуhиббуль-фəриhиин

    Korah indeed belonged to the people of Moses, but he bullied them. We had given him so much treasures that their chests indeed proved heavy for a band of stalwarts. When his people said to him, ‘Do not boast! Indeed Allah does not like the boasters.
  • 28:77

    وَابْتَغِ فِيمَا آتَاكَ اللَّهُ الدَّارَ الْآخِرَةَ  ۖ وَلَا تَنسَ نَصِيبَكَ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا  ۖ وَأَحْسِن كَمَا أَحْسَنَ اللَّهُ إِلَيْكَ  ۖ وَلَا تَبْغِ الْفَسَادَ فِي الْأَرْضِ  ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُفْسِدِينَ

    вəəбтəґи фиимəə əəтəəкəл-лаhуд-дəəрōль-əəхырōh, вəлəə тəŋŋсə нəсыыбəкə минəд-дунйəə, вə`əhсиŋŋ-кəмəə əhсəнəл-лаhу илəйк, вəлəə тəбґиль-фəсəəдə фииль-əрд, иннəл-лаhə лəə йуhиббуль-муфсидиин

    Seek the abode of the Hereafter by means of what Allah has given you, while not forgetting your share of this world. Be good [to others] just as Allah has been good to you, and do not try to cause corruption in the land. Indeed Allah does not like the agents of corruption.’
  • 28:78

    قَالَ إِنَّمَا أُوتِيتُهُ عَلَىٰ عِلْمٍ عِندِي  ۚ أَوَلَمْ يَعْلَمْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ أَهْلَكَ مِن قَبْلِهِ مِنَ الْقُرُونِ مَنْ هُوَ أَشَدُّ مِنْهُ قُوَّةً وَأَكْثَرُ جَمْعًا  ۚ وَلَا يُسْأَلُ عَن ذُنُوبِهِمُ الْمُجْرِمُونَ

    ќōōлə иннəмəə уутиитуhу 'əлəə 'ильмин 'иŋŋдий, əвəлəм йə'лəм əннəл-лаhə ќōд əhлəкə миŋŋ-ќōблиhи минəль-ќурууни мəн hувə əшəдду минhу ќуувəтəу-вə`əкc̃əру джəм'ə, вəлəə йус`əлю 'əŋŋ-з̃унуубиhимуль-муджримуун

    He said, ‘I have indeed been given [all] this because of the knowledge that I have.’ Did he not know that Allah had already destroyed before him some of the generations who were more powerful than him and greater in amassing [wealth]? The guilty will not be questioned about their sins.
  • 28:79

    فَخَرَجَ عَلَىٰ قَوْمِهِ فِي زِينَتِهِ  ۖ قَالَ الَّذِينَ يُرِيدُونَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا يَا لَيْتَ لَنَا مِثْلَ مَا أُوتِيَ قَارُونُ إِنَّهُ لَذُو حَظٍّ عَظِيمٍ

    фəхōрōджə 'əлəə ќōумиhи фии зиинəтиh, ќōōлəль-лəз̃иинə йуриидуунəль-həйəəтəд-дунйəə йəə лэйтə лəнəə миc̃лə мəə уутийə ќōōрууну иннəhу лəз̃уу həз̃з̃ын 'əз̃ыым

    So he emerged before his people in his finery. Those who desired the life of the world said, ‘We wish we had like what Korah has been given! Indeed he is greatly fortunate.’
  • 28:80

    وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْعِلْمَ وَيْلَكُمْ ثَوَابُ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ لِّمَنْ آمَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا وَلَا يُلَقَّاهَا إِلَّا الصَّابِرُونَ

    вəќōōлəль-лəз̃иинə уутууль-'ильмə вəйлəкум c̃əвəəбул-лаhи хōйрул-лимəн əəмəнə вə'əмилə сōōлиhəу-вəлəə йулəќќōōhəə ильлəəс-сōōбируун

    Those who were given knowledge said [to them], ‘Woe to you! Allah’s reward is better for someone who has faith and acts righteously, and no one will receive it except the patient.’
