33:21
لَّقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ لِّمَن كَانَ يَرْجُو اللَّهَ وَالْيَوْمَ الْآخِرَ وَذَكَرَ اللَّهَ كَثِيرًاлəќōд кəəнə лəкум фии рōсуулиль-лəhи усвəтун həсəнəтул-лимəŋŋ-кəəнə йəрджуул-лаhə вəəльйəумəль-əəхырō вəз̃əкəрōл-лаhə кəc̃иирō
There is certainly a good exemplar for you in the Apostle of Allah—for those who look forward to Allah and the Last Day, and remember Allah much. -
33:22
وَلَمَّا رَأَى الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الْأَحْزَابَ قَالُوا هَـٰذَا مَا وَعَدَنَا اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ وَصَدَقَ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ ۚ وَمَا زَادَهُمْ إِلَّا إِيمَانًا وَتَسْلِيمًاвəлəммəə рō`əəль-му`минуунəль-əhзəəбə ќōōлюю həəз̃əə мəə вə'əдəнəл-лаhу вəрōсуулюhу вəсōдəќōл-лаhу вəрōсуулюh, вəмəə зəəдəhум ильлəə иимəəнəу-вəтəслиимə
But when the faithful saw the confederates, they said, ‘This is what Allah and His Apostle had promised us, and Allah and His Apostle were true.’ And it only increased them in faith and submission. -
33:23
مِّنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوا مَا عَاهَدُوا اللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ ۖ فَمِنْهُم مَّن قَضَىٰ نَحْبَهُ وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَنتَظِرُ ۖ وَمَا بَدَّلُوا تَبْدِيلًاминəль-му`миниинə риджəəлюн сōдəќуу мəə 'əəhəдуул-лаhə 'əлэйh, фəминhум-мəŋŋ-ќōдōō нəhбəhу вəминhум-мəй-йəŋŋтəз̃ыр, вəмəə бəддəлюю тəбдиилə
Among the faithful are men who fulfill what they have pledged to Allah: there are some among them who have fulfilled their pledge, and some of them who still wait, and they have not changed in the least, -
33:24
لِّيَجْزِيَ اللَّهُ الصَّادِقِينَ بِصِدْقِهِمْ وَيُعَذِّبَ الْمُنَافِقِينَ إِن شَاءَ أَوْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًاлийəджзийəл-лаhус-сōōдиќиинə бисыдќиhим вəйу'əз̃з̃ибəль-мунəəфиќиинə иŋŋ-шəə`ə əу йəтуубə 'əлэйhим, иннəл-лаhə кəəнə ґōфуурōр-рōhиимə
that Allah may reward the true for their truthfulness, and punish the hypocrites, if He wishes, or accept their repentance. Indeed Allah is all-forgiving, all-merciful. -
33:25
وَرَدَّ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِغَيْظِهِمْ لَمْ يَنَالُوا خَيْرًا ۚ وَكَفَى اللَّهُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ الْقِتَالَ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ قَوِيًّا عَزِيزًاвəрōддəл-лаhуль-лəз̃иинə кəфəруу биґōйз̃ыhим лəм йəнəəлюю хōйрō, вəкəфəл-лаhуль-му`миниинəль-ќитəəль, вəкəəнəл-лаhу ќōвиййəн 'əзиизə
Allah sent back the faithless in their rage, without their attaining any advantage, and Allah spared the faithful of fighting, and Allah is all-strong, all-mighty. -
33:26
وَأَنزَلَ الَّذِينَ ظَاهَرُوهُم مِّنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ مِن صَيَاصِيهِمْ وَقَذَفَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ الرُّعْبَ فَرِيقًا تَقْتُلُونَ وَتَأْسِرُونَ فَرِيقًاвə`əŋŋзəлəль-лəз̃иинə з̃ōōhəрууhум-мин əhлиль-китəəби миŋŋ-сōйəəсыыhим вəќōз̃əфə фии ќулююбиhимур-ру'бə фəрииќōн тəќтулююнə вəтə`сируунə фəрииќō
And He dragged down from their strongholds those who had backed them from among the People of the Book, and He cast terror into their hearts, [so that] you killed a part of them, and took captive [another] part. -
33:27
وَأَوْرَثَكُمْ أَرْضَهُمْ وَدِيَارَهُمْ وَأَمْوَالَهُمْ وَأَرْضًا لَّمْ تَطَئُوهَا ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرًاвə`əурōc̃əкум əрдōhум вəдийəəрōhум вə`əмвəəлəhум вə`əрдōль-лəм тəтō`ууhəə, вəкəəнəл-лаhу 'əлəə кулли шэй`ин ќōдиирō
He bequeathed you their land, their houses and their possessions, and a territory you had not trodden, and Allah has power over all things. -
33:28
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ قُل لِّأَزْوَاجِكَ إِن كُنتُنَّ تُرِدْنَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا وَزِينَتَهَا فَتَعَالَيْنَ أُمَتِّعْكُنَّ وَأُسَرِّحْكُنَّ سَرَاحًا جَمِيلًاйəə əййуhəəн-нəбиййу ќул-ли`əзвəəджикə иŋŋ-куŋŋтуннə туриднəль-həйəəтəд-дунйəə вəзиинəтəhəə фəтə'əəлəйнə умəтти'куннə вə`усəрриhкуннə сəрōōhəн джəмиилə
O Prophet! Say to your wives, ‘If you desire the life of the world and its glitter, come, I will provide for you and release you in a graceful manner. -
33:29
وَإِن كُنتُنَّ تُرِدْنَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَالدَّارَ الْآخِرَةَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ أَعَدَّ لِلْمُحْسِنَاتِ مِنكُنَّ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًاвə`иŋŋ-куŋŋтуннə туриднəл-лаhə вəрōсуулəhу вəд-дəəрōль-əəхырōтə фə`иннəл-лаhə ə'əддə ли-ль-муhсинəəти миŋŋкуннə əджрōн 'əз̃ыымə
But if you desire Allah and His Apostle and the abode of the Hereafter, then Allah has indeed prepared a great reward for the virtuous among you.’ -
33:30
يَا نِسَاءَ النَّبِيِّ مَن يَأْتِ مِنكُنَّ بِفَاحِشَةٍ مُّبَيِّنَةٍ يُضَاعَفْ لَهَا الْعَذَابُ ضِعْفَيْنِ ۚ وَكَانَ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرًاйəə нисəə`əн-нəбиййи мəй-йə`ти миŋŋкуннə бифəəhишəтимм-мубəййинəтий-йудōō'əф лəhəəль-'əз̃əəбу ды'фəйн, вəкəəнə з̃əəликə 'əлəл-лаhи йəсиирō
O wives of the Prophet! Whoever of you commits a gross indecency, her punishment shall be doubled, and that is easy for Allah. -
33:31
۞ وَمَن يَقْنُتْ مِنكُنَّ لِلَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَتَعْمَلْ صَالِحًا نُّؤْتِهَا أَجْرَهَا مَرَّتَيْنِ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لَهَا رِزْقًا كَرِيمًاвəмəй-йəќнут миŋŋкуннə лильлəhи вəрōсуулиhи вəтə'мəль сōōлиhəн-нну`тиhəə əджрōhəə мəррōтəйни вə`ə'тəднəə лəhəə ризќōн кəриимə
But whoever of you is obedient to Allah and His Apostle and acts righteously, We shall give her a twofold reward, and We will have in store for her a noble provision. -
33:32
يَا نِسَاءَ النَّبِيِّ لَسْتُنَّ كَأَحَدٍ مِّنَ النِّسَاءِ ۚ إِنِ اتَّقَيْتُنَّ فَلَا تَخْضَعْنَ بِالْقَوْلِ فَيَطْمَعَ الَّذِي فِي قَلْبِهِ مَرَضٌ وَقُلْنَ قَوْلًا مَّعْرُوفًاйəə нисəə`əн-нəбиййи лəстуннə кə`əhəдимм-минəн-нисəə, ини-ттəќōйтуннə фəлəə тəхдō'нə би-ль-ќōули фəйəтмə'əль-лəз̃ии фии ќōльбиhи мəрōдуу-вəќульнə ќōулəмм-мə'рууфə
O wives of the Prophet! You are not like other women: if you are wary [of Allah], do not be complaisant in your speech, lest he in whose heart is a sickness should aspire; speak honourable words. -
33:33
وَقَرْنَ فِي بُيُوتِكُنَّ وَلَا تَبَرَّجْنَ تَبَرُّجَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ الْأُولَىٰ ۖ وَأَقِمْنَ الصَّلَاةَ وَآتِينَ الزَّكَاةَ وَأَطِعْنَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ ۚ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ لِيُذْهِبَ عَنكُمُ الرِّجْسَ أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ وَيُطَهِّرَكُمْ تَطْهِيرًاвəќōрнə фии буйуутикуннə вəлəə тəбəррōджнə тəбəрруджəль-джəəhилиййəтиль-уулəə, вə`əќимнəс-сōлəəтə вə`əəтиинəз-зəкəəтə вə`əты'нəл-лаhə вəрōсуулəh, иннəмəə йуриидул-лаhу лийуз̃hибə 'əŋŋкумур-риджсə əhлəль-бэйти вəйутōhhирōкум тəтhиирō
Stay in your houses and do not flaunt your finery like the former [days of pagan] ignorance. Maintain the prayer and pay the zakat, and obey Allah and His Apostle. Indeed Allah desires to repel all impurity from you, O People of the Household, and purify you with a thorough purification. -
33:34
وَاذْكُرْنَ مَا يُتْلَىٰ فِي بُيُوتِكُنَّ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَالْحِكْمَةِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ لَطِيفًا خَبِيرًاвəəз̃курнə мəə йутлəə фии буйуутикуннə мин əəйəəтиль-лəhи вəəльhикмəh, иннəл-лаhə кəəнə лəтыыфəн хōбиирō
And remember what is recited in your homes of the signs of Allah and wisdom. Indeed Allah is all-attentive, all-aware. -
33:35
إِنَّ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَالْمُسْلِمَاتِ وَالْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَالْقَانِتِينَ وَالْقَانِتَاتِ وَالصَّادِقِينَ وَالصَّادِقَاتِ وَالصَّابِرِينَ وَالصَّابِرَاتِ وَالْخَاشِعِينَ وَالْخَاشِعَاتِ وَالْمُتَصَدِّقِينَ وَالْمُتَصَدِّقَاتِ وَالصَّائِمِينَ وَالصَّائِمَاتِ وَالْحَافِظِينَ فُرُوجَهُمْ وَالْحَافِظَاتِ وَالذَّاكِرِينَ اللَّهَ كَثِيرًا وَالذَّاكِرَاتِ أَعَدَّ اللَّهُ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةً وَأَجْرًا عَظِيمًاиннəль-муслимиинə вəəльмуслимəəти вəəльму`миниинə вəəльму`минəəти вəəльќōōнитиинə вəəльќōōнитəəти вəс-сōōдиќиинə вəс-сōōдиќōōти вəс-сōōбириинə вəс-сōōбирōōти вəəльхōōши'иинə вəəльхōōши'əəти вəəльмутəсōддиќиинə вəəльмутəсōддиќōōти вəс-сōō`имиинə вəс-сōō`имəəти вəəльhəəфиз̃ыынə фурууджəhум вəəльhəəфиз̃ōōти вəз̃-з̃əəкириинəл-лаhə кəc̃иирōу-вəз̃-з̃əəкирōōти ə'əддəл-лаhу лəhум-мəґфирōтəу-вə`əджрōн 'əз̃ыымə
Indeed the muslim men and the muslim women, the faithful men and the faithful women, the obedient men and the obedient women, the truthful men and the truthful women, the patient men and the patient women, the humble men and the humble women, the charitable men and the charitable women, the men who fast and the women who fast, the men who guard their private parts and the women who guard, the men who remember Allah greatly and the women who remember [Allah greatly]—Allah holds in store for them forgiveness and a great reward. -
33:36
وَمَا كَانَ لِمُؤْمِنٍ وَلَا مُؤْمِنَةٍ إِذَا قَضَى اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَمْرًا أَن يَكُونَ لَهُمُ الْخِيَرَةُ مِنْ أَمْرِهِمْ ۗ وَمَن يَعْصِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلَالًا مُّبِينًاвəмəə кəəнə лиму`миниу-вəлəə му`минəтин из̃əə ќōдōōл-лаhу вəрōсуулюhу əмрōн əй-йəкуунə лəhумуль-хыйəрōту мин əмриhим, вəмəй-йə'сыль-лəhə вəрōсуулəhу фəќōд дōльлə дōлəəлəмм-мубиинə
A faithful man or woman may not have any option in their matter, when Allah and His Apostle have decided on a matter, and whoever disobeys Allah and His Apostle has certainly strayed into manifest error. -
33:37
وَإِذْ تَقُولُ لِلَّذِي أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَأَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِ أَمْسِكْ عَلَيْكَ زَوْجَكَ وَاتَّقِ اللَّهَ وَتُخْفِي فِي نَفْسِكَ مَا اللَّهُ مُبْدِيهِ وَتَخْشَى النَّاسَ وَاللَّهُ أَحَقُّ أَن تَخْشَاهُ ۖ فَلَمَّا قَضَىٰ زَيْدٌ مِّنْهَا وَطَرًا زَوَّجْنَاكَهَا لِكَيْ لَا يَكُونَ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ حَرَجٌ فِي أَزْوَاجِ أَدْعِيَائِهِمْ إِذَا قَضَوْا مِنْهُنَّ وَطَرًا ۚ وَكَانَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ مَفْعُولًاвə`из̃ тəќуулю лильлəз̃ии əн'əмəл-лаhу 'əлэйhи вə`əн'əмтə 'əлэйhи əмсик 'əлэйкə зəуджəкə вəəттəќиль-лəhə вəтухфии фии нəфсикə мəл-лаhу мубдииhи вəтəхшəəн-нəəсə вəл-лаhу əhəќќу əŋŋ-тəхшəəh, фəлəммəə ќōдōō зəйдумм-минhəə вəтōрōн зəувəджнəəкəhəə ликəй лəə йəкуунə 'əлəəль-му`миниинə həрōджун фии əзвəəджи əд'ийəə`иhим из̃əə ќōдōу минhуннə вəтōрō, вəкəəнə əмрул-лаhи мəф'уулə
When you said to him whom Allah had blessed, and whom you [too] had blessed, ‘Retain your wife for yourself, and be wary of Allah,’ and you had hidden in your heart what Allah was to divulge, and you feared the people though Allah is worthier that you should fear Him, so when Zayd had got through with her, We wedded her to you, so that there may be no blame on the faithful in respect of the wives of their adopted sons, when the latter have got through with them, and Allah’s command is bound to be fulfilled. -
33:38
مَّا كَانَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ مِنْ حَرَجٍ فِيمَا فَرَضَ اللَّهُ لَهُ ۖ سُنَّةَ اللَّهِ فِي الَّذِينَ خَلَوْا مِن قَبْلُ ۚ وَكَانَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ قَدَرًا مَّقْدُورًاмəə кəəнə 'əлəəн-нəбиййи мин həрōджин фиимəə фəрōдōл-лаhу лəh, суннəтəл-лаhи фииль-лəз̃иинə хōлəу миŋŋ-ќōбль, вəкəəнə əмрул-лаhи ќōдəрōмм-мəќдуурō
There is no blame on the Prophet in respect of that which Allah has made lawful for him: Allah’s precedent with those who passed away earlier (and Allah’s commands are ordained by a precise ordaining), -
33:39
الَّذِينَ يُبَلِّغُونَ رِسَالَاتِ اللَّهِ وَيَخْشَوْنَهُ وَلَا يَخْشَوْنَ أَحَدًا إِلَّا اللَّهَ ۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ حَسِيبًاəльлəз̃иинə йубəллиґуунə рисəəлəəтиль-лəhи вəйəхшəунəhу вəлəə йəхшəунə əhəдəн ильлəл-лаh, вəкəфəə биль-лəhи həсиибə
such as deliver the messages of Allah and fear Him, and fear no one except Allah, and Allah suffices as reckoner. -
33:40
مَّا كَانَ مُحَمَّدٌ أَبَا أَحَدٍ مِّن رِّجَالِكُمْ وَلَـٰكِن رَّسُولَ اللَّهِ وَخَاتَمَ النَّبِيِّينَ ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمًاмəə кəəнə муhəммəдун əбəə əhəдимм-мир-риджəəликум вəлəəкир-рōсуулəл-лаhи вəхōōтəмəн-нəбиййиин, вəкəəнəл-лаhу бикулли шэй`ин 'əлиимə
Muhammad is not the father of any man among you, but he is the Apostle of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets, and Allah has knowledge of all things.
