27:41
قَالَ نَكِّرُوا لَهَا عَرْشَهَا نَنظُرْ أَتَهْتَدِي أَمْ تَكُونُ مِنَ الَّذِينَ لَا يَهْتَدُونَќōōлə нəккируу лəhəə 'əршəhəə нəŋŋз̃ур əтəhтəдии əм тəкууну минəль-лəз̃иинə лəə йəhтəдуун
He said, ‘Disguise her throne for her, so that we may see whether she is discerning or if she is one of the undiscerning ones.’ -
27:42
فَلَمَّا جَاءَتْ قِيلَ أَهَـٰكَذَا عَرْشُكِ ۖ قَالَتْ كَأَنَّهُ هُوَ ۚ وَأُوتِينَا الْعِلْمَ مِن قَبْلِهَا وَكُنَّا مُسْلِمِينَфəлəммəə джəə`əт ќиилə əhəəкəз̃əə 'əршук, ќōōлəт кə`əннəhу hуу, вə`уутиинəəль-'ильмə миŋŋ-ќōблиhəə вəкуннəə муслимиин
So when she came, it was said [to her], ‘Is your throne like this one?’ She said, ‘It seems to be the same, and we were informed before it, and we had submitted.’ -
27:43
وَصَدَّهَا مَا كَانَت تَّعْبُدُ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ ۖ إِنَّهَا كَانَتْ مِن قَوْمٍ كَافِرِينَвəсōддəhəə мəə кəəнəт-тə'буду миŋŋ-дууниль-лəh, иннəhəə кəəнəт миŋŋ-ќōумин кəəфириин
She had been barred [from the way of Allah] by what she used to worship besides Allah, for she belonged to a faithless people. -
27:44
قِيلَ لَهَا ادْخُلِي الصَّرْحَ ۖ فَلَمَّا رَأَتْهُ حَسِبَتْهُ لُجَّةً وَكَشَفَتْ عَن سَاقَيْهَا ۚ قَالَ إِنَّهُ صَرْحٌ مُّمَرَّدٌ مِّن قَوَارِيرَ ۗ قَالَتْ رَبِّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي وَأَسْلَمْتُ مَعَ سُلَيْمَانَ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَќиилə лəhəə-дхулиис-сōрh, фəлəммəə рō`əтhу həсибəтhу люджджəтəу-вəкəшəфəт 'əŋŋ-сəəќōйhəə, ќōōлə иннəhу сōрhумм-мумəррōдумм-миŋŋ-ќōвəəриир, ќōōлəт рōбби иннии з̃ōлəмту нəфсии вə`əслəмту мə'ə сулəймəəнə лильлəhи рōббиль-'əəлəмиин
It was said to her, ‘Enter the palace.’ So when she saw it, she supposed it to be a pool of water, and she bared her shanks. He said, ‘It is a palace paved with crystal.’ She said, ‘My Lord! Indeed I have wronged myself, and I submit with Solomon to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds.’ -
27:45
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا إِلَىٰ ثَمُودَ أَخَاهُمْ صَالِحًا أَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ فَإِذَا هُمْ فَرِيقَانِ يَخْتَصِمُونَвəлəќōд əрсəльнəə илəə c̃əмуудə əхōōhум сōōлиhəн əни-'будуул-лаhə фə`из̃əə hум фəрииќōōни йəхтəсымуун
Certainly We sent to Thamud Salih, their brother, [with the summons:] ‘Worship Allah!’ But thereat they became two groups contending with each other. -
27:46
قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ لِمَ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ بِالسَّيِّئَةِ قَبْلَ الْحَسَنَةِ ۖ لَوْلَا تَسْتَغْفِرُونَ اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَќōōлə йəə ќōуми лимə тəстə'джилююнə бис-сəййи`əти ќōблəль-həсəнəh, лəулəə тəстəґфируунəл-лаhə лə'əльлəкум турhəмуун
He said, ‘O My people! Why do you press for evil sooner than for good? Why do you not plead to Allah for forgiveness so that you may receive His mercy?’ -
27:47
قَالُوا اطَّيَّرْنَا بِكَ وَبِمَن مَّعَكَ ۚ قَالَ طَائِرُكُمْ عِندَ اللَّهِ ۖ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ تُفْتَنُونَќōōлюю-ттōййəрнəə бикə вəбимəмм-мə'əк, ќōōлə тōō`ирукум 'иŋŋдəл-лаh, бəль əŋŋтум ќōумун туфтəнуун
They said, ‘We take you and those who are with you for a bad omen.’ He said, ‘Your bad omens are from Allah. Indeed, you are a people being tested.’ -
27:49
قَالُوا تَقَاسَمُوا بِاللَّهِ لَنُبَيِّتَنَّهُ وَأَهْلَهُ ثُمَّ لَنَقُولَنَّ لِوَلِيِّهِ مَا شَهِدْنَا مَهْلِكَ أَهْلِهِ وَإِنَّا لَصَادِقُونَќōōлюю тəќōōсəмуу биль-лəhи лəнубəййитəннəhу вə`əhлəhу c̃уммə лəнəќуулəннə ливəлиййиhи мəə шəhиднəə мəhликə əhлиhи вə`иннəə лəсōōдиќуун
They said, ‘Swear by Allah that we will attack him and his family by night. Then we will tell his heir that we were not present at the murder of his family and that we speak the truth.’ -
27:52
فَتِلْكَ بُيُوتُهُمْ خَاوِيَةً بِمَا ظَلَمُوا ۗ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَфəтилькə буйуутуhум хōōвийəтəмм-бимəə з̃ōлəмуу, иннə фии з̃əəликə лə`əəйəтəл-лиќōумий-йə'лəмуун
So there lay their houses, fallen in ruin because of their wrongdoing. There is indeed a sign in that for a people who have knowledge. -
27:56
۞ فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِ إِلَّا أَن قَالُوا أَخْرِجُوا آلَ لُوطٍ مِّن قَرْيَتِكُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ أُنَاسٌ يَتَطَهَّرُونَфəмəə кəəнə джəвəəбə ќōумиhи ильлəə əŋŋ-ќōōлюю əхриджуу əəлə люютымм-миŋŋ-ќōрйəтикум, иннəhум унəəсуй-йəтəтōhhəруун
But the only answer of his people was that they said, ‘Expel Lot’s family from your town! They are indeed a puritanical lot.’ -
27:59
قُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَسَلَامٌ عَلَىٰ عِبَادِهِ الَّذِينَ اصْطَفَىٰ ۗ آللَّهُ خَيْرٌ أَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَќулиль-həмду лильлəhи вəсəлəəмун 'əлəə 'ибəəдиhиль-лəз̃иинə-стōфəə, əл-лаhу хōйрун əммəə йушрикуун
Say, ‘All praise belongs to Allah, and Peace be to the servants whom He has chosen.’ Is Allah better, or the partners they ascribe [to Him]? -
27:60
أَمَّنْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَأَنزَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَنبَتْنَا بِهِ حَدَائِقَ ذَاتَ بَهْجَةٍ مَّا كَانَ لَكُمْ أَن تُنبِتُوا شَجَرَهَا ۗ أَإِلَـٰهٌ مَّعَ اللَّهِ ۚ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ يَعْدِلُونَəммəн хōлəќōс-сəмəəвəəти вəəль`əрдō вə`əŋŋзəлə лəкум-минəс-сəмəə`и мəə`əн фə`əмм-бəтнəə биhи həдəə`иќō з̃əəтə бəhджəтимм-мəə кəəнə лəкум əŋŋ-тумм-битуу шəджəрōhəə, ə`илəəhумм-мə'əл-лаh, бəль hум ќōумуй-йə'дилююн
Is He who created the heavens and the earth, and sends down for you water from the sky, whereby We grow delightful gardens, whose trees you could never cause to grow...? What! Is there a god besides Allah? Indeed, they are a lot who equate [others with Allah].
