6:61
وَهُوَ الْقَاهِرُ فَوْقَ عِبَادِهِ ۖ وَيُرْسِلُ عَلَيْكُمْ حَفَظَةً حَتَّىٰ إِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدَكُمُ الْمَوْتُ تَوَفَّتْهُ رُسُلُنَا وَهُمْ لَا يُفَرِّطُونَвəhувəль-ќōōhиру фəуќō 'ибəəдиh, вəйурсилю 'əлэйкум həфəз̃ōтəн həттəə из̃əə джəə`ə əhəдəкумуль-мəуту тəвəффəтhу русулюнəə вəhум лəə йуфəрритуун
He is the All-dominant over His servants, and He sends guards to [protect] you. When death approaches anyone of you, Our messengers take him away and they do not neglect [their duty]. -
6:62
ثُمَّ رُدُّوا إِلَى اللَّهِ مَوْلَاهُمُ الْحَقِّ ۚ أَلَا لَهُ الْحُكْمُ وَهُوَ أَسْرَعُ الْحَاسِبِينَc̃уммə руддуу илəл-лаhи мəулəəhумуль-həќќ, əлəə лəhуль-hукму вəhувə əсрō'уль-həəсибиин
Then they are returned to Allah, their real master. Look! All judgement belongs to Him, and He is the swiftest of reckoners. -
6:63
قُلْ مَن يُنَجِّيكُم مِّن ظُلُمَاتِ الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ تَدْعُونَهُ تَضَرُّعًا وَخُفْيَةً لَّئِنْ أَنجَانَا مِنْ هَـٰذِهِ لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الشَّاكِرِينَќуль мəй-йунəджджиикум-миŋŋ-з̃улюмəəтиль-бəрри вəəльбəhри тəд'уунəhу тəдōрру'əу-вəхуфйəтəль-лə`ин əŋŋджəəнəə мин həəз̃иhи лəнəкуунəннə минəш-шəəкириин
Say, ‘Who delivers you from the darkness of land and sea, [when] You invoke Him suppliantly and secretly: ‘‘If He delivers us from this, we will surely be among the grateful’’?’ -
6:65
قُلْ هُوَ الْقَادِرُ عَلَىٰ أَن يَبْعَثَ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابًا مِّن فَوْقِكُمْ أَوْ مِن تَحْتِ أَرْجُلِكُمْ أَوْ يَلْبِسَكُمْ شِيَعًا وَيُذِيقَ بَعْضَكُم بَأْسَ بَعْضٍ ۗ انظُرْ كَيْفَ نُصَرِّفُ الْآيَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَفْقَهُونَќуль hувəль-ќōōдиру 'əлəə əй-йəб'əc̃ə 'əлэйкум 'əз̃əəбəмм-миŋŋ-фəуќикум əу миŋŋ-тəhти əрджуликум əу йəльбисəкум шийə'əу-вəйуз̃ииќō бə'дōкумм-бə`сə бə'д, уŋŋз̃ур кəйфə нусōррифуль-əəйəəти лə'əльлəhум йəфќōhуун
Say, ‘He is able to send upon you a punishment from above you or from under your feet, or confound you as [hostile] factions, and make you taste one another’s violence.’ Look, how We paraphrase the signs variously so that they may understand! -
6:68
وَإِذَا رَأَيْتَ الَّذِينَ يَخُوضُونَ فِي آيَاتِنَا فَأَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ حَتَّىٰ يَخُوضُوا فِي حَدِيثٍ غَيْرِهِ ۚ وَإِمَّا يُنسِيَنَّكَ الشَّيْطَانُ فَلَا تَقْعُدْ بَعْدَ الذِّكْرَىٰ مَعَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَвə`из̃əə рō`əйтəль-лəз̃иинə йəхуудуунə фии əəйəəтинəə фə`ə'рид 'əнhум həттəə йəхуудуу фии həдииc̃ин ґōйриh, вə`иммəə йуŋŋсийəннəкəш-шэйтōōну фəлəə тəќ'уд бə'дəз̃-з̃икрōō мə'əль-ќōумиз̃-з̃ōōлимиин
When you see those who gossip impiously about Our signs, avoid them until they engage in some other discourse; but if Satan makes you forget, then, after remembering, do not sit with the wrongdoing lot. -
6:69
وَمَا عَلَى الَّذِينَ يَتَّقُونَ مِنْ حِسَابِهِم مِّن شَيْءٍ وَلَـٰكِن ذِكْرَىٰ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَвəмəə 'əлəəль-лəз̃иинə йəттəќуунə мин hисəəбиhим-миŋŋ-шэй`иу-вəлəəкиŋŋ-з̃икрōō лə'əльлəhум йəттəќуун
Those who are Godwary are in no way accountable for them, but this is merely for admonition’s sake, so that they may beware. -
6:70
وَذَرِ الَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا دِينَهُمْ لَعِبًا وَلَهْوًا وَغَرَّتْهُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا ۚ وَذَكِّرْ بِهِ أَن تُبْسَلَ نَفْسٌ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ لَيْسَ لَهَا مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ وَلِيٌّ وَلَا شَفِيعٌ وَإِن تَعْدِلْ كُلَّ عَدْلٍ لَّا يُؤْخَذْ مِنْهَا ۗ أُولَـٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ أُبْسِلُوا بِمَا كَسَبُوا ۖ لَهُمْ شَرَابٌ مِّنْ حَمِيمٍ وَعَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْفُرُونَвəз̃əриль-лəз̃иинə-ттəхōз̃уу диинəhум лə'ибəу-вəлəhвəу-вəґōррōтhумуль-həйəəтуд-дунйəə, вəз̃əккир биhи əŋŋ-тубсəлə нəфсумм-бимəə кəсəбəт лэйсə лəhəə миŋŋ-дууниль-лəhи вəлиййуу-вəлəə шəфии'уу-вə`иŋŋ-тə'диль кульлə 'əдлиль-лəə йу`хōз̃ минhəə, уулəə`икəль-лəз̃иинə убсилюю бимəə кəсəбуу, лəhум шəрōōбумм-мин həмиимиу-вə'əз̃əəбун əлиимумм-бимəə кəəнуу йəкфуруун
Leave alone those who take their religion for play and diversion and whom the life of this world has deceived, and admonish with it, lest any soul should perish because of what it has earned: It shall not have any guardian besides Allah, nor any intercessor; and though it should offer every kind of ransom, it shall not be accepted from it. They are the ones who perish because of what they have earned; they shall have boiling water for drink and a painful punishment because of what they used to defy. -
6:71
قُلْ أَنَدْعُو مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنفَعُنَا وَلَا يَضُرُّنَا وَنُرَدُّ عَلَىٰ أَعْقَابِنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَانَا اللَّهُ كَالَّذِي اسْتَهْوَتْهُ الشَّيَاطِينُ فِي الْأَرْضِ حَيْرَانَ لَهُ أَصْحَابٌ يَدْعُونَهُ إِلَى الْهُدَى ائْتِنَا ۗ قُلْ إِنَّ هُدَى اللَّهِ هُوَ الْهُدَىٰ ۖ وَأُمِرْنَا لِنُسْلِمَ لِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَќуль əнəд'уу миŋŋ-дууниль-лəhи мəə лəə йəŋŋфə'унəə вəлəə йəдуррунəə вəнурōдду 'əлəə ə'ќōōбинəə бə'дə из̃ həдəəнəл-лаhу кəəльлəз̃ии-стəhвəтhуш-шəйəəтыыну фииль-əрды həйрōōнə лəhу əсhəəбуй-йəд'уунəhу илəəль-hудəə-тинəə, ќуль иннə hудəл-лаhи hувəль-hудəə, вə`умирнəə линуслимə лирōббиль-'əəлəмиин
Say, ‘Shall we invoke besides Allah that which can neither benefit us nor harm us, and turn back on our heels after Allah has guided us, like someone seduced by the devils and bewildered on the earth, who has companions that invite him to guidance, [saying,] ‘‘Come to us!’’?’ Say, ‘Indeed it is the guidance of Allah which is [true] guidance. And we have been commanded to submit to the Lord of all the worlds, -
6:73
وَهُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ ۖ وَيَوْمَ يَقُولُ كُن فَيَكُونُ ۚ قَوْلُهُ الْحَقُّ ۚ وَلَهُ الْمُلْكُ يَوْمَ يُنفَخُ فِي الصُّورِ ۚ عَالِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ ۚ وَهُوَ الْحَكِيمُ الْخَبِيرُвəhувəль-лəз̃ии хōлəќōс-сəмəəвəəти вəəль`əрдō би-ль-həќќ, вəйəумə йəќуулю куŋŋ-фəйəкуун, ќōулюhуль-həќќ, вəлəhуль-мульку йəумə йуŋŋфəху фиис-суур, 'əəлимуль-ґōйби вəш-шəhəəдəh, вəhувəль-həкиимуль-хōбиир
It is He who created the heavens and the earth with reason, and the day He says [to something], ‘Be!’ it is. His word is the truth, and to Him belongs all sovereignty on the day when the Trumpet will be blown. Knower of the sensible and the Unseen, He is the All-wise, the All-aware. -
6:74
۞ وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ لِأَبِيهِ آزَرَ أَتَتَّخِذُ أَصْنَامًا آلِهَةً ۖ إِنِّي أَرَاكَ وَقَوْمَكَ فِي ضَلَالٍ مُّبِينٍвə`из̃ ќōōлə ибрōōhииму ли`əбииhи əəзəрō əтəттəхыз̃у əснəəмəн əəлиhəh, иннии əрōōкə вəќōумəкə фии дōлəəлимм-мубиин
When Abraham said to Azar, his father, ‘Do you take idols for gods? Indeed I see you and your people in manifest error.’ -
6:75
وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُرِي إِبْرَاهِيمَ مَلَكُوتَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلِيَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُوقِنِينَвəкəз̃əəликə нурии ибрōōhиимə мəлəкуутəс-сəмəəвəəти вəəль`əрды вəлийəкуунə минəль-мууќиниин
Thus did We show Abraham the dominions of the heavens and the earth, that he might be of those who possess certitude. -
6:76
فَلَمَّا جَنَّ عَلَيْهِ اللَّيْلُ رَأَىٰ كَوْكَبًا ۖ قَالَ هَـٰذَا رَبِّي ۖ فَلَمَّا أَفَلَ قَالَ لَا أُحِبُّ الْآفِلِينَфəлəммəə джəннə 'əлэйhиль-лэйлю рō`əə кəукəбə, ќōōлə həəз̃əə рōббий, фəлəммəə əфəлə ќōōлə лəə уhиббуль-əəфилиин
When night darkened over him, he saw a star and said, ‘This is my Lord!’ But when it set, he said, ‘I do not like those who set.’ -
6:77
فَلَمَّا رَأَى الْقَمَرَ بَازِغًا قَالَ هَـٰذَا رَبِّي ۖ فَلَمَّا أَفَلَ قَالَ لَئِن لَّمْ يَهْدِنِي رَبِّي لَأَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الضَّالِّينَфəлəммəə рō`əəль-ќōмəрō бəəзиґōн ќōōлə həəз̃əə рōббий, фəлəммəə əфəлə ќōōлə лə`иль-лəм йəhдинии рōббии лə`əкуунəннə минəль-ќōумид-дōōллиин
Then, when he saw the moon rising, he said, ‘This is my Lord!’ But when it set, he said, ‘Had my Lord not guided me, I would surely have been among the astray lot.’ -
6:78
فَلَمَّا رَأَى الشَّمْسَ بَازِغَةً قَالَ هَـٰذَا رَبِّي هَـٰذَا أَكْبَرُ ۖ فَلَمَّا أَفَلَتْ قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ إِنِّي بَرِيءٌ مِّمَّا تُشْرِكُونَфəлəммəə рō`əəш-шəмсə бəəзиґōтəн ќōōлə həəз̃əə рōббии həəз̃əə əкбəр, фəлəммəə əфəлəт ќōōлə йəə ќōуми иннии бəрии`умм-миммəə тушрикуун
Then, when he saw the sun rising, he said, ‘This is my Lord! This is bigger!’ But when it set, he said, ‘O my people, indeed I disown what you take as [His] partners.’ -
6:79
إِنِّي وَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِيَ لِلَّذِي فَطَرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ حَنِيفًا ۖ وَمَا أَنَا مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَиннии вəджджəhту вəджhийə лильлəз̃ии фəтōрōс-сəмəəвəəти вəəль`əрдō həниифə, вəмəə əнəə минəль-мушрикиин
‘Indeed I have turned my face toward Him who originated the heavens and the earth, as a Hanif, and I am not one of the polytheists.’ -
6:80
وَحَاجَّهُ قَوْمُهُ ۚ قَالَ أَتُحَاجُّونِّي فِي اللَّهِ وَقَدْ هَدَانِ ۚ وَلَا أَخَافُ مَا تُشْرِكُونَ بِهِ إِلَّا أَن يَشَاءَ رَبِّي شَيْئًا ۗ وَسِعَ رَبِّي كُلَّ شَيْءٍ عِلْمًا ۗ أَفَلَا تَتَذَكَّرُونَвəhəəджджəhу ќōумуh, ќōōлə əтуhəəджджууннии фиил-лаhи вəќōд həдəəн, вəлəə əхōōфу мəə тушрикуунə биhи ильлəə əй-йəшəə`ə рōббии шэй`ə, вəси'ə рōббии кульлə шэй`ин 'ильмə, əфəлəə тəтəз̃əккəруун
His people argued with him. He said, ‘Do you argue with me concerning Allah, while He has guided me for certain? I do not fear what you ascribe to Him as [His] partners, excepting anything that my Lord may wish. My Lord embraces all things in [His] knowledge. Will you not then take admonition?
