6:121
وَلَا تَأْكُلُوا مِمَّا لَمْ يُذْكَرِ اسْمُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَإِنَّهُ لَفِسْقٌ ۗ وَإِنَّ الشَّيَاطِينَ لَيُوحُونَ إِلَىٰ أَوْلِيَائِهِمْ لِيُجَادِلُوكُمْ ۖ وَإِنْ أَطَعْتُمُوهُمْ إِنَّكُمْ لَمُشْرِكُونَвəлəə тə`кулюю миммəə лəм йуз̃кəри-смул-лаhи 'əлэйhи вə`иннəhу лəфисќ, вə`иннəш-шəйəəтыынə лəйууhуунə илəə əулийəə`иhим лийуджəəдилююкум, вə`ин əтō'тумууhум иннəкум лəмушрикуун
Do not eat [anything] of that over which Allah’s Name has not been mentioned, and that is indeed transgression. Indeed the satans inspire their friends to dispute with you; and if you obey them, you will indeed be polytheists. -
6:122
أَوَمَن كَانَ مَيْتًا فَأَحْيَيْنَاهُ وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُ نُورًا يَمْشِي بِهِ فِي النَّاسِ كَمَن مَّثَلُهُ فِي الظُّلُمَاتِ لَيْسَ بِخَارِجٍ مِّنْهَا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ زُيِّنَ لِلْكَافِرِينَ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَəвəмəŋŋ-кəəнə мəйтəн фə`əhйəйнəəhу вəджə'əльнəə лəhу нуурōй-йəмшии биhи фиин-нəəси кəмəмм-мəc̃əлюhу фииз̃-з̃улюмəəти лэйсə бихōōриджимм-минhəə, кəз̃əəликə зуййинə ли-ль-кəəфириинə мəə кəəнуу йə'мəлююн
Is he who was lifeless, then We gave him life and provided him with a light by which he walks among the people, like one who dwells in a manifold darkness which he cannot leave? To the faithless is thus presented as decorous what they have been doing. -
6:123
وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَا فِي كُلِّ قَرْيَةٍ أَكَابِرَ مُجْرِمِيهَا لِيَمْكُرُوا فِيهَا ۖ وَمَا يَمْكُرُونَ إِلَّا بِأَنفُسِهِمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَвəкəз̃əəликə джə'əльнəə фии кулли ќōрйəтин əкəəбирō муджримииhəə лийəмкуруу фииhəə, вəмəə йəмкуруунə ильлəə би`əŋŋфусиhим вəмəə йəш'уруун
Thus have We installed in every town its major criminals that they may plot therein. Yet they do not plot except against their own souls, but they are not aware. -
6:124
وَإِذَا جَاءَتْهُمْ آيَةٌ قَالُوا لَن نُّؤْمِنَ حَتَّىٰ نُؤْتَىٰ مِثْلَ مَا أُوتِيَ رُسُلُ اللَّهِ ۘ اللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ حَيْثُ يَجْعَلُ رِسَالَتَهُ ۗ سَيُصِيبُ الَّذِينَ أَجْرَمُوا صَغَارٌ عِندَ اللَّهِ وَعَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ بِمَا كَانُوا يَمْكُرُونَвə`из̃əə джəə`əтhум əəйəтун ќōōлюю лəн-ну`минə həттəə ну`тəə миc̃лə мəə уутийə русулюл-лаhиль-лəhу ə'лəму həйc̃у йəдж'əлю рисəəлəтəh, сəйусыыбуль-лəз̃иинə əджрōмуу сōґōōрун 'иŋŋдəл-лаhи вə'əз̃əəбун шəдиидумм-бимəə кəəнуу йəмкуруун
When a sign comes to them, they say, ‘We will not believe until we are given the like of what was given to Allah’s apostles.’ Allah knows best where to place His apostleship! Soon the guilty will be visited by a degradation and severe punishment from Allah because of the plots they used to devise. -
6:125
فَمَن يُرِدِ اللَّهُ أَن يَهْدِيَهُ يَشْرَحْ صَدْرَهُ لِلْإِسْلَامِ ۖ وَمَن يُرِدْ أَن يُضِلَّهُ يَجْعَلْ صَدْرَهُ ضَيِّقًا حَرَجًا كَأَنَّمَا يَصَّعَّدُ فِي السَّمَاءِ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يَجْعَلُ اللَّهُ الرِّجْسَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَфəмəй-йуридиль-лəhу əй-йəhдийəhу йəшрōh сōдрōhу ли-ль-ислəəм, вəмəй-йурид əй-йудыльлəhу йəдж'əль сōдрōhу дōййиќōн həрōджəн кə`əннəмəə йəссō''əду фиис-сəмəə, кəз̃əəликə йəдж'əлюл-лаhур-риджсə 'əлəəль-лəз̃иинə лəə йу`минуун
Whomever Allah desires to guide, He opens his breast to Islam, and whomever He desires to lead astray, He makes his breast narrow and straitened as if he were climbing to a height. Thus does Allah lay [spiritual] defilement on those who do not have faith. -
6:126
وَهَـٰذَا صِرَاطُ رَبِّكَ مُسْتَقِيمًا ۗ قَدْ فَصَّلْنَا الْآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَذَّكَّرُونَвəhəəз̃əə сырōōту рōббикə мустəќиимə, ќōд фəссōльнəəль-əəйəəти лиќōумий-йəз̃з̃əккəруун
This is the straight path of your Lord. We have already elaborated the signs for a people who take admonition. -
6:128
وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ جَمِيعًا يَا مَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ قَدِ اسْتَكْثَرْتُم مِّنَ الْإِنسِ ۖ وَقَالَ أَوْلِيَاؤُهُم مِّنَ الْإِنسِ رَبَّنَا اسْتَمْتَعَ بَعْضُنَا بِبَعْضٍ وَبَلَغْنَا أَجَلَنَا الَّذِي أَجَّلْتَ لَنَا ۚ قَالَ النَّارُ مَثْوَاكُمْ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا إِلَّا مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ ۗ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌвəйəумə йəhшуруhум джəмии'əй-йəə мə'шəрōль-джинни ќōди-стəкc̃əртум-минəль-иŋŋс, вəќōōлə əулийəə`уhум-минəль-иŋŋси рōббəнəə-стəмтə'ə бə'дунəə бибə'дыу-вəбəлəґнəə əджəлəнəəль-лəз̃ии əджджəльтə лəнəə, ќōōлəн-нəəру мəc̃вəəкум хōōлидиинə фииhəə ильлəə мəə шəə`əл-лаh, иннə рōббəкə həкиимун 'əлиим
On the day He will gather them all together, [He will say], ‘O company of jinn! You claimed many of the humans.’ Their friends from among the humans will say, ‘Our Lord, we used each other, and we completed our term which You had appointed for us.’ He will say, ‘The Fire is your abode, to remain in it [forever], except what Allah may wish.’ Indeed your Lord is all-wise, all-knowing. -
6:130
يَا مَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنسِ أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ رُسُلٌ مِّنكُمْ يَقُصُّونَ عَلَيْكُمْ آيَاتِي وَيُنذِرُونَكُمْ لِقَاءَ يَوْمِكُمْ هَـٰذَا ۚ قَالُوا شَهِدْنَا عَلَىٰ أَنفُسِنَا ۖ وَغَرَّتْهُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا وَشَهِدُوا عَلَىٰ أَنفُسِهِمْ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا كَافِرِينَйəə мə'шəрōль-джинни вəəль`иŋŋси əлəм йə`тикум русулюмм-миŋŋкум йəќуссуунə 'əлэйкум əəйəəтии вəйуŋŋз̃ируунəкум лиќōō`ə йəумикум həəз̃əə, ќōōлюю шəhиднəə 'əлəə əŋŋфусинəə, вəґōррōтhумуль-həйəəтуд-дунйəə вəшəhидуу 'əлəə əŋŋфусиhим əннəhум кəəнуу кəəфириин
‘O company of jinn and humans! Did there not come to you apostles from yourselves, recounting to you My signs and warning you of the encounter of this Day?’ They will say, ‘We testify against ourselves.’ The life of this world had deceived them, and they will testify against themselves that they had been faithless. -
6:133
وَرَبُّكَ الْغَنِيُّ ذُو الرَّحْمَةِ ۚ إِن يَشَأْ يُذْهِبْكُمْ وَيَسْتَخْلِفْ مِن بَعْدِكُم مَّا يَشَاءُ كَمَا أَنشَأَكُم مِّن ذُرِّيَّةِ قَوْمٍ آخَرِينَвəрōббукəль-ґōниййу з̃уур-рōhмəh, ий-йəшə йуз̃hибкум вəйəстəхлиф мимм-бə'дикум-мəə йəшəə`у кəмəə əŋŋшə`əкум-миŋŋ-з̃урриййəти ќōумин əəхōриин
Your Lord is the All-sufficient dispenser of mercy. If He wishes, He will take you away, and make whomever He wishes succeed you, just as He produced you from the descendants of another people. -
6:135
قُلْ يَا قَوْمِ اعْمَلُوا عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِكُمْ إِنِّي عَامِلٌ ۖ فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ مَن تَكُونُ لَهُ عَاقِبَةُ الدَّارِ ۗ إِنَّهُ لَا يُفْلِحُ الظَّالِمُونَќуль йəə ќōуми-'мəлюю 'əлəə мəкəəнəтикум иннии 'əəмиль, фəсəуфə тə'лəмуунə мəŋŋ-тəкууну лəhу 'əəќибəтуд-дəəр, иннəhу лəə йуфлиhуз̃-з̃ōōлимуун
Say, ‘O my people, act according to your ability; I too am acting. Soon you will know in whose favour the outcome of that abode will be. Indeed the wrongdoers will not be felicitous.’ -
6:136
وَجَعَلُوا لِلَّهِ مِمَّا ذَرَأَ مِنَ الْحَرْثِ وَالْأَنْعَامِ نَصِيبًا فَقَالُوا هَـٰذَا لِلَّهِ بِزَعْمِهِمْ وَهَـٰذَا لِشُرَكَائِنَا ۖ فَمَا كَانَ لِشُرَكَائِهِمْ فَلَا يَصِلُ إِلَى اللَّهِ ۖ وَمَا كَانَ لِلَّهِ فَهُوَ يَصِلُ إِلَىٰ شُرَكَائِهِمْ ۗ سَاءَ مَا يَحْكُمُونَвəджə'əлюю лильлəhи миммəə з̃əрō`ə минəль-həрc̃и вəəль`əн'əəми нəсыыбəн фəќōōлюю həəз̃əə лильлəhи бизə'миhим вəhəəз̃əə лишурōкəə`инəə, фəмəə кəəнə лишурōкəə`иhим фəлəə йəсылю илəл-лаh, вəмəə кəəнə лильлəhи фəhувə йəсылю илəə шурōкəə`иhим, сəə`ə мəə йəhкумуун
They dedicate a portion to Allah out of what He has created of the crops and cattle, and say, ‘This is for Allah,’ so do they maintain, ‘and this is for our partners.’ But what is for their partners does not reach Allah, and what is for Allah reaches their partners. Evil is the judgement that they make. -
6:137
وَكَذَٰلِكَ زَيَّنَ لِكَثِيرٍ مِّنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ قَتْلَ أَوْلَادِهِمْ شُرَكَاؤُهُمْ لِيُرْدُوهُمْ وَلِيَلْبِسُوا عَلَيْهِمْ دِينَهُمْ ۖ وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ مَا فَعَلُوهُ ۖ فَذَرْهُمْ وَمَا يَفْتَرُونَвəкəз̃əəликə зəййəнə ликəc̃ииримм-минəль-мушрикиинə ќōтлə əулəəдиhим шурōкəə`уhум лийурдууhум вəлийəльбисуу 'əлэйhим диинəhум, вəлəу шəə`əл-лаhу мəə фə'əлююh, фəз̃əрhум вəмəə йəфтəруун
That is how to most of the polytheists the slaying of their children is presented as decorous by those whom they ascribe as partners [to Allah], that they may ruin them and confound their religion for them. Had Allah wished, they would not have done it. So leave them with what they fabricate. -
6:138
وَقَالُوا هَـٰذِهِ أَنْعَامٌ وَحَرْثٌ حِجْرٌ لَّا يَطْعَمُهَا إِلَّا مَن نَّشَاءُ بِزَعْمِهِمْ وَأَنْعَامٌ حُرِّمَتْ ظُهُورُهَا وَأَنْعَامٌ لَّا يَذْكُرُونَ اسْمَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهَا افْتِرَاءً عَلَيْهِ ۚ سَيَجْزِيهِم بِمَا كَانُوا يَفْتَرُونَвəќōōлюю həəз̃иhи əн'əəмуу-вəhəрc̃ун hиджруль-лəə йəт'əмуhəə ильлəə мəн-нəшəə`у бизə'миhим вə`əн'əəмун hурримəт з̃уhууруhəə вə`əн'əəмуль-лəə йəз̃куруунə-смəл-лаhи 'əлэйhəə-фтирōō`əн 'əлэйh, сəйəджзииhимм-бимəə кəəнуу йəфтəруун
And they say, ‘These cattle and tillage are a taboo: none may eat them except whom we please,’ so they maintain, and there are cattle whose backs are forbidden and cattle over which they do not mention Allah’s Name, fabricating a lie against Him. Soon He will requite them for what they used to fabricate. -
6:139
وَقَالُوا مَا فِي بُطُونِ هَـٰذِهِ الْأَنْعَامِ خَالِصَةٌ لِّذُكُورِنَا وَمُحَرَّمٌ عَلَىٰ أَزْوَاجِنَا ۖ وَإِن يَكُن مَّيْتَةً فَهُمْ فِيهِ شُرَكَاءُ ۚ سَيَجْزِيهِمْ وَصْفَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌвəќōōлюю мəə фии бутууни həəз̃иhиль-əн'əəми хōōлисōтул-лиз̃укууринəə вəмуhəррōмун 'əлəə əзвəəджинəə, вə`ий-йəкумм-мəйтəтəн фəhум фииhи шурōкəə, сəйəджзииhим вəсфəhум, иннəhу həкиимун 'əлиим
And they say, ‘That which is in the bellies of these cattle is exclusively for our males and forbidden to our wives. But if it be still-born, they will all share it.’ Soon He will requite them for their allegations. Indeed, He is all-wise, all-knowing. -
6:140
قَدْ خَسِرَ الَّذِينَ قَتَلُوا أَوْلَادَهُمْ سَفَهًا بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَحَرَّمُوا مَا رَزَقَهُمُ اللَّهُ افْتِرَاءً عَلَى اللَّهِ ۚ قَدْ ضَلُّوا وَمَا كَانُوا مُهْتَدِينَќōд хōсирōль-лəз̃иинə ќōтəлюю əулəəдəhум сəфəhəмм-биґōйри 'ильмиу-вəhəррōмуу мəə рōзəќōhумул-лаhу-фтирōō`əн 'əлəл-лаh, ќōд дōллюю вəмəə кəəнуу муhтəдиин
They are certainly losers who slay their children foolishly without knowledge, and forbid what Allah has provided them, fabricating a lie against Allah. Certainly, they have gone astray and are not guided.
