7:41
لَهُم مِّن جَهَنَّمَ مِهَادٌ وَمِن فَوْقِهِمْ غَوَاشٍ ۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الظَّالِمِينَлəhум-миŋŋ-джəhəннəмə миhəəдуу-вəмиŋŋ-фəуќиhим ґōвəəш, вəкəз̃əəликə нəджзииз̃-з̃ōōлимиин
They shall have hell for their resting place, and over them shall be sheets [of fire], and thus do We requite the wrongdoers. -
7:42
وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَا نُكَلِّفُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا أُولَـٰئِكَ أَصْحَابُ الْجَنَّةِ ۖ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَвəəльлəз̃иинə əəмəнуу вə'əмилююс-сōōлиhəəти лəə нукəллифу нəфсəн ильлəə вус'əhəə уулəə`икə əсhəəбуль-джəннəh, hум фииhəə хōōлидуун
As for those who have faith and do righteous deeds—We task no soul except according to its capacity—they shall be the inhabitants of paradise, and they shall remain in it [forever]. -
7:43
وَنَزَعْنَا مَا فِي صُدُورِهِم مِّنْ غِلٍّ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهِمُ الْأَنْهَارُ ۖ وَقَالُوا الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي هَدَانَا لِهَـٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لِنَهْتَدِيَ لَوْلَا أَنْ هَدَانَا اللَّهُ ۖ لَقَدْ جَاءَتْ رُسُلُ رَبِّنَا بِالْحَقِّ ۖ وَنُودُوا أَن تِلْكُمُ الْجَنَّةُ أُورِثْتُمُوهَا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَвəнəзə'нəə мəə фии судууриhим-мин ґиллин тəджрии миŋŋ-тəhтиhимуль-əнhəəр, вəќōōлююль-həмду лильлəhиль-лəз̃ии həдəəнəə лиhəəз̃əə вəмəə куннəə линəhтəдийə лəулəə əн həдəəнəл-лаh, лəќōд джəə`əт русулю рōббинəə би-ль-həќќ, вəнуудуу əŋŋ-тилькумуль-джəннəту ууриc̃тумууhəə бимəə куŋŋтум тə'мəлююн
We will remove whatever rancour there is in their breasts, and streams will run for them. They will say, ‘All praise belongs to Allah, who guided us to this. We would have never been guided had not Allah guided us. Our Lord’s apostles had certainly brought the truth.’ And the call would be made to them: ‘This is paradise, which you have been given to inherit because of what you used to do!’ -
7:44
وَنَادَىٰ أَصْحَابُ الْجَنَّةِ أَصْحَابَ النَّارِ أَن قَدْ وَجَدْنَا مَا وَعَدَنَا رَبُّنَا حَقًّا فَهَلْ وَجَدتُّم مَّا وَعَدَ رَبُّكُمْ حَقًّا ۖ قَالُوا نَعَمْ ۚ فَأَذَّنَ مُؤَذِّنٌ بَيْنَهُمْ أَن لَّعْنَةُ اللَّهِ عَلَى الظَّالِمِينَвəнəəдəə əсhəəбуль-джəннəти əсhəəбəн-нəəри əŋŋ-ќōд вəджəднəə мəə вə'əдəнəə рōббунəə həќќōн фəhəль вəджəттум-мəə вə'əдə рōббукум həќќō, ќōōлюю нə'əм, фə`əз̃з̃əнə му`əз̃з̃инумм-бэйнəhум əль-лə'нəтул-лаhи 'əлəəз̃-з̃ōōлимиин
The inhabitants of paradise will call out to the inmates of the Fire, ‘We found what our Lord promised us to be true; did you find what your Lord promised you to be true?’ ‘Yes,’ they will say. Then a caller will announce in their midst, ‘May Allah’s curse be on the wrongdoers!’ -
7:45
الَّذِينَ يَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَيَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجًا وَهُم بِالْآخِرَةِ كَافِرُونَəльлəз̃иинə йəсуддуунə 'əŋŋ-сəбиилиль-лəhи вəйəбґуунəhəə 'ивəджəу-вəhумм-би-ль-əəхырōти кəəфируун
—Those who bar [others] from the way of Allah, and seek to make it crooked, and disbelieve in the Hereafter. -
7:46
وَبَيْنَهُمَا حِجَابٌ ۚ وَعَلَى الْأَعْرَافِ رِجَالٌ يَعْرِفُونَ كُلًّا بِسِيمَاهُمْ ۚ وَنَادَوْا أَصْحَابَ الْجَنَّةِ أَن سَلَامٌ عَلَيْكُمْ ۚ لَمْ يَدْخُلُوهَا وَهُمْ يَطْمَعُونَвəбэйнəhумəə hиджəəб, вə'əлəəль-ə'рōōфи риджəəлюй-йə'рифуунə кульлəмм-бисиимəəhум, вəнəəдəу əсhəəбəль-джəннəти əŋŋ-сəлəəмун 'əлэйкум, лəм йəдхулююhəə вəhум йəтмə'уун
There will be a veil between them. And on the Elevations will be certain men who recognize each of them by their mark. They will call out to the inhabitants of paradise, ‘Peace be to you!’ (They will not have entered it, though they would be eager to do so. -
7:47
۞ وَإِذَا صُرِفَتْ أَبْصَارُهُمْ تِلْقَاءَ أَصْحَابِ النَّارِ قَالُوا رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا مَعَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَвə`из̃əə сурифəт əбсōōруhум тильќōō`ə əсhəəбин-нəəри ќōōлюю рōббəнəə лəə тəдж'əльнəə мə'əль-ќōумиз̃-з̃ōōлимиин
And when their look is turned toward the inmates of the Fire, they will say, ‘Our Lord, do not put us among the wrongdoing lot!’) -
7:48
وَنَادَىٰ أَصْحَابُ الْأَعْرَافِ رِجَالًا يَعْرِفُونَهُم بِسِيمَاهُمْ قَالُوا مَا أَغْنَىٰ عَنكُمْ جَمْعُكُمْ وَمَا كُنتُمْ تَسْتَكْبِرُونَвəнəəдəə əсhəəбуль-ə'рōōфи риджəəлəй-йə'рифуунəhумм-бисиимəəhум ќōōлюю мəə əґнəə 'əŋŋкум джəм'укум вəмəə куŋŋтум тəстəкбируун
The occupants of the Elevations will call out to certain men whom they recognize by their marks, ‘Your rallying did not avail you, nor what you used to disdain. -
7:49
أَهَـٰؤُلَاءِ الَّذِينَ أَقْسَمْتُمْ لَا يَنَالُهُمُ اللَّهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ ۚ ادْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَا أَنتُمْ تَحْزَنُونَəhəə`улəə`иль-лəз̃иинə əќсəмтум лəə йəнəəлюhумул-лаhу бирōhмəh, удхулююль-джəннəтə лəə хōуфун 'əлэйкум вəлəə əŋŋтум тəhзəнуун
Are these the ones concerning whom you swore that Allah will not extend them any mercy?’ ‘Enter paradise! You shall have no fear, nor shall you grieve.’ -
7:50
وَنَادَىٰ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ أَصْحَابَ الْجَنَّةِ أَنْ أَفِيضُوا عَلَيْنَا مِنَ الْمَاءِ أَوْ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ اللَّهُ ۚ قَالُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ حَرَّمَهُمَا عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَвəнəəдəə əсhəəбун-нəəри əсhəəбəль-джəннəти əн əфиидуу 'əлэйнəə минəль-мəə`и əу миммəə рōзəќōкумул-лаh, ќōōлюю иннəл-лаhə həррōмəhумəə 'əлəəль-кəəфириин
The inmates of the Fire will call out to the inhabitants of paradise, ‘Pour on us some water, or something of what Allah has provided you.’ They will say, ‘Allah has indeed forbidden these two to the faithless!’ -
7:51
الَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا دِينَهُمْ لَهْوًا وَلَعِبًا وَغَرَّتْهُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا ۚ فَالْيَوْمَ نَنسَاهُمْ كَمَا نَسُوا لِقَاءَ يَوْمِهِمْ هَـٰذَا وَمَا كَانُوا بِآيَاتِنَا يَجْحَدُونَəльлəз̃иинə-ттəхōз̃уу диинəhум лəhвəу-вəлə'ибəу-вəґōррōтhумуль-həйəəтуд-дунйəə, фəəльйəумə нəŋŋсəəhум кəмəə нəсуу лиќōō`ə йəумиhим həəз̃əə вəмəə кəəнуу би`əəйəəтинəə йəджhəдуун
Those who took their religion for diversion and play and whom the life of the world had deceived. So today, We will forget them as they forgot the encounter of this day of theirs, and as they used to impugn Our signs. -
7:52
وَلَقَدْ جِئْنَاهُم بِكِتَابٍ فَصَّلْنَاهُ عَلَىٰ عِلْمٍ هُدًى وَرَحْمَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَвəлəќōд джи`нəəhумм-бикитəəбин фəссōльнəəhу 'əлəə 'ильмин hудəу-вəрōhмəтəл-лиќōумий-йу`минуун
Certainly We have brought them a Book, which We have elaborated with knowledge, as a guidance and mercy for a people who have faith. -
7:53
هَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا تَأْوِيلَهُ ۚ يَوْمَ يَأْتِي تَأْوِيلُهُ يَقُولُ الَّذِينَ نَسُوهُ مِن قَبْلُ قَدْ جَاءَتْ رُسُلُ رَبِّنَا بِالْحَقِّ فَهَل لَّنَا مِن شُفَعَاءَ فَيَشْفَعُوا لَنَا أَوْ نُرَدُّ فَنَعْمَلَ غَيْرَ الَّذِي كُنَّا نَعْمَلُ ۚ قَدْ خَسِرُوا أَنفُسَهُمْ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا يَفْتَرُونَhəль йəŋŋз̃уруунə ильлəə тə`виилəh, йəумə йə`тии тə`виилюhу йəќуулюль-лəз̃иинə нəсууhу миŋŋ-ќōблю ќōд джəə`əт русулю рōббинəə би-ль-həќќи фəhəль-лəнəə миŋŋ-шуфə'əə`ə фəйəшфə'уу лəнəə əу нурōдду фəнə'мəлə ґōйрōль-лəз̃ии куннəə нə'мəль, ќōд хōсируу əŋŋфусəhум вəдōльлə 'əнhум-мəə кəəнуу йəфтəруун
Do they not consider [the consequences of] its fulfillment? The day when its fulfillment comes, those who had forgotten it before will say, ‘Our Lord’s apostles had certainly brought the truth. If only we had some intercessors to intercede for us, or we would be returned, so that we may do differently from what we did!’ They have certainly ruined their souls, and what they used to fabricate has forsaken them. -
7:54
إِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ اللَّهُ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ يُغْشِي اللَّيْلَ النَّهَارَ يَطْلُبُهُ حَثِيثًا وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ وَالنُّجُومَ مُسَخَّرَاتٍ بِأَمْرِهِ ۗ أَلَا لَهُ الْخَلْقُ وَالْأَمْرُ ۗ تَبَارَكَ اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَиннə рōббəкумул-лаhуль-лəз̃ии хōлəќōс-сəмəəвəəти вəəль`əрдō фии ситтəти əййəəмин c̃уммə-стəвəə 'əлəəль-'əрши йуґшииль-лэйлəн-нəhəəрō йəтлюбуhу həc̃ииc̃əу-вəш-шəмсə вəəльќōмəрō вəн-нуджуумə мусəххōрōōтимм-би`əмриh, əлəə лəhуль-хōльќу вəəль`əмр, тəбəəрōкəл-лаhу рōббуль-'əəлəмиин
Indeed your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and the earth in six days, and then settled on the Throne. He draws the night’s cover over the day, which pursues it swiftly, and [He created] the sun, the moon, and the stars, [all of them] disposed by His command. Look! All creation and command belong to Him. Blessed is Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. -
7:56
وَلَا تُفْسِدُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ بَعْدَ إِصْلَاحِهَا وَادْعُوهُ خَوْفًا وَطَمَعًا ۚ إِنَّ رَحْمَتَ اللَّهِ قَرِيبٌ مِّنَ الْمُحْسِنِينَвəлəə туфсидуу фииль-əрды бə'дə ислəəhиhəə вəəд'ууhу хōуфəу-вəтōмə'ə, иннə рōhмəтəл-лаhи ќōриибумм-минəль-муhсиниин
And do not cause corruption on the earth after its restoration, and supplicate Him with fear and hope: indeed Allah’s mercy is close to the virtuous. -
7:57
وَهُوَ الَّذِي يُرْسِلُ الرِّيَاحَ بُشْرًا بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَحْمَتِهِ ۖ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا أَقَلَّتْ سَحَابًا ثِقَالًا سُقْنَاهُ لِبَلَدٍ مَّيِّتٍ فَأَنزَلْنَا بِهِ الْمَاءَ فَأَخْرَجْنَا بِهِ مِن كُلِّ الثَّمَرَاتِ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نُخْرِجُ الْمَوْتَىٰ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَвəhувəль-лəз̃ии йурсилюр-рийəəhə бушрōмм-бэйнə йəдəй рōhмəтиh, həттəə из̃əə əќōльлəт сəhəəбəн c̃иќōōлəн суќнəəhу либəлəдимм-мəййитин фə`əŋŋзəльнəə биhиль-мəə`ə фə`əхрōджнəə биhи миŋŋ-куллиc̃-c̃əмəрōōт, кəз̃əəликə нухриджуль-мəутəə лə'əльлəкум тəз̃əккəруун
It is He who sends forth the winds as harbingers of His mercy. When they bear [rain-] laden clouds, We drive them toward a dead land and send down water on it, and with it We bring forth all kinds of crops. Thus shall We raise the dead; maybe you will take admonition. -
7:58
وَالْبَلَدُ الطَّيِّبُ يَخْرُجُ نَبَاتُهُ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِ ۖ وَالَّذِي خَبُثَ لَا يَخْرُجُ إِلَّا نَكِدًا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نُصَرِّفُ الْآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَشْكُرُونَвəəльбəлəдут-тōййибу йəхруджу нəбəəтуhу би`из̃ни рōббиh, вəəльлəз̃ии хōбуc̃ə лəə йəхруджу ильлəə нəкидə, кəз̃əəликə нусōррифуль-əəйəəти лиќōумий-йəшкуруун
The good land—its vegetation comes out by the permission of its Lord, and as for that which is bad, it does not come out except sparsely. Thus do We paraphrase the signs variously for a people who give thanks. -
7:59
لَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِ فَقَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَـٰهٍ غَيْرُهُ إِنِّي أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍлəќōд əрсəльнəə нууhəн илəə ќōумиhи фəќōōлə йəə ќōуми-'будуул-лаhə мəə лəкум-мин илəəhин ґōйруhу иннии əхōōфу 'əлэйкум 'əз̃əəбə йəумин 'əз̃ыым
Certainly We sent Noah to his people. He said, ‘O my people, worship Allah! You have no other god besides Him. Indeed I fear for you the punishment of a tremendous day.’
