  • 7:121

    قَالُوا آمَنَّا بِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

    ќōōлюю əəмəннəə бирōббиль-'əəлəмиин

    They said, ‘We have believed in the Lord of all the worlds,
  • 7:122

    رَبِّ مُوسَىٰ وَهَارُونَ

    рōбби муусəə вəhəəруун

    the Lord of Moses and Aaron.’
  • 7:123

    قَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ آمَنتُم بِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ آذَنَ لَكُمْ  ۖ إِنَّ هَـٰذَا لَمَكْرٌ مَّكَرْتُمُوهُ فِي الْمَدِينَةِ لِتُخْرِجُوا مِنْهَا أَهْلَهَا  ۖ فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ

    ќōōлə фир'əуну əəмəŋŋтумм-биhи ќōблə əн əəз̃əнə лəкум, иннə həəз̃əə лəмəкрумм-мəкəртумууhу фииль-мəдиинəти литухриджуу минhəə əhлəhəə, фəсəуфə тə'лəмуун

    Pharaoh said, ‘Do you profess faith in Him before I may permit you? It is indeed a plot you have devised in the city to expel its people from it. Soon you will know [the consequences]!
  • 7:124

    لَأُقَطِّعَنَّ أَيْدِيَكُمْ وَأَرْجُلَكُم مِّنْ خِلَافٍ ثُمَّ لَأُصَلِّبَنَّكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

    лə`уќōтты'əннə əйдийəкум вə`əрджулəкум-мин хылəəфин c̃уммə лə`усōллибəннəкум əджмə'иин

    Surely I will cut off your hands and feet on opposite sides, and then I will surely crucify all of you.’
  • 7:125

    قَالُوا إِنَّا إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا مُنقَلِبُونَ

    ќōōлюю иннəə илəə рōббинəə муŋŋќōлибуун

    They said, ‘Indeed we shall return to our Lord.
  • 7:126

    وَمَا تَنقِمُ مِنَّا إِلَّا أَنْ آمَنَّا بِآيَاتِ رَبِّنَا لَمَّا جَاءَتْنَا  ۚ رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَتَوَفَّنَا مُسْلِمِينَ

    вəмəə тəŋŋќиму миннəə ильлəə əн əəмəннəə би`əəйəəти рōббинəə лəммəə джəə`əтнəə, рōббəнəə əфриґ 'əлэйнəə сōбрōу-вəтəвəффəнəə муслимиин

    You are vindictive toward us only because we have believed in the signs of our Lord, when they came to us.’ ‘Our Lord! Pour patience upon us, and grant us to die as Muslims.’
  • 7:127

    وَقَالَ الْمَلَأُ مِن قَوْمِ فِرْعَوْنَ أَتَذَرُ مُوسَىٰ وَقَوْمَهُ لِيُفْسِدُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَيَذَرَكَ وَآلِهَتَكَ  ۚ قَالَ سَنُقَتِّلُ أَبْنَاءَهُمْ وَنَسْتَحْيِي نِسَاءَهُمْ وَإِنَّا فَوْقَهُمْ قَاهِرُونَ

    вəќōōлəль-мəлə`у миŋŋ-ќōуми фир'əунə əтəз̃əру муусəə вəќōумəhу лийуфсидуу фииль-əрды вəйəз̃əрōкə вə`əəлиhəтəк, ќōōлə сəнуќōттилю əбнəə`əhум вəнəстəhйии нисəə`əhум вə`иннəə фəуќōhум ќōōhируун

    The elite of Pharaoh’s people said, ‘Will you leave Moses and his people to cause corruption in the land, and to abandon you and your gods?’ He said, ‘We will kill their sons and spare their women, and indeed we are dominant over them.’
  • 7:128

    قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِهِ اسْتَعِينُوا بِاللَّهِ وَاصْبِرُوا  ۖ إِنَّ الْأَرْضَ لِلَّهِ يُورِثُهَا مَن يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ  ۖ وَالْعَاقِبَةُ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ

    ќōōлə муусəə лиќōумиhи-стə'иинуу биль-лəhи вəəсбируу, иннəль-əрдō лильлəhи йууриc̃уhəə мəй-йəшəə`у мин 'ибəəдиh, вəəль'əəќибəту ли-ль-муттəќиин

    Moses said to his people, ‘Turn to Allah for help and be patient. The earth indeed belongs to Allah, and He gives its inheritance to whomever He wishes of His servants, and the outcome will be in favour of the Godwary.’
  • 7:129

    قَالُوا أُوذِينَا مِن قَبْلِ أَن تَأْتِيَنَا وَمِن بَعْدِ مَا جِئْتَنَا  ۚ قَالَ عَسَىٰ رَبُّكُمْ أَن يُهْلِكَ عَدُوَّكُمْ وَيَسْتَخْلِفَكُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرَ كَيْفَ تَعْمَلُونَ

    ќōōлюю ууз̃иинəə миŋŋ-ќōбли əŋŋ-тə`тийəнəə вəмимм-бə'ди мəə джи`тəнəə, ќōōлə 'əсəə рōббукум əй-йуhликə 'əдуувəкум вəйəстəхлифəкум фииль-əрды фəйəŋŋз̃урō кəйфə тə'мəлююн

    They said, ‘We were tormented before you came to us and [also] after you came to us.’ He said, ‘Maybe your Lord will destroy your enemy and make you successors in the land, and then He will see how you act.’
  • 7:130

    وَلَقَدْ أَخَذْنَا آلَ فِرْعَوْنَ بِالسِّنِينَ وَنَقْصٍ مِّنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَذَّكَّرُونَ

    вəлəќōд əхōз̃нəə əəлə фир'əунə бис-синиинə вəнəќсымм-минəc̃-c̃əмəрōōти лə'əльлəhум йəз̃з̃əккəруун

    Certainly We afflicted Pharaoh’s clan with droughts and loss of produce, so that they may take admonition.
  • 7:131

    فَإِذَا جَاءَتْهُمُ الْحَسَنَةُ قَالُوا لَنَا هَـٰذِهِ  ۖ وَإِن تُصِبْهُمْ سَيِّئَةٌ يَطَّيَّرُوا بِمُوسَىٰ وَمَن مَّعَهُ  ۗ أَلَا إِنَّمَا طَائِرُهُمْ عِندَ اللَّهِ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

    фə`из̃əə джəə`əтhумуль-həсəнəту ќōōлюю лəнəə həəз̃иh, вə`иŋŋ-тусыбhум сəййи`əтуй-йəттōййəруу бимуусəə вəмəмм-мə'əh, əлəə иннəмəə тōō`ируhум 'иŋŋдəл-лаhи вəлəəкиннə əкc̃əрōhум лəə йə'лəмуун

    But whenever any good came to them, they would say, ‘This is our due.’ And if any ill visited them, they took it for ill omens attending Moses and those who were with him. (Look! Indeed the cause of their ill omens is from Allah, but most of them do not know.)
  • 7:132

    وَقَالُوا مَهْمَا تَأْتِنَا بِهِ مِنْ آيَةٍ لِّتَسْحَرَنَا بِهَا فَمَا نَحْنُ لَكَ بِمُؤْمِنِينَ

    вəќōōлюю мəhмəə тə`тинəə биhи мин əəйəтил-литəсhəрōнəə биhəə фəмəə нəhну лəкə биму`миниин

    And they said, ‘Whatever sign you may bring us to bewitch us, we are not going to believe you.’
  • 7:133

    فَأَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ الطُّوفَانَ وَالْجَرَادَ وَالْقُمَّلَ وَالضَّفَادِعَ وَالدَّمَ آيَاتٍ مُّفَصَّلَاتٍ فَاسْتَكْبَرُوا وَكَانُوا قَوْمًا مُّجْرِمِينَ

    фə`əрсəльнəə 'əлэйhимут-тууфəəнə вəəльджəрōōдə вəəльќуммəлə вəд-дōфəəди'ə вəд-дəмə əəйəəтимм-муфəссōлəəтин фəəстəкбəруу вəкəəнуу ќōумəмм-муджримиин

    So We sent against them a flood and locusts, lice, frogs and blood, as distinct signs. But they acted arrogantly, and they were a guilty lot.
  • 7:134

    وَلَمَّا وَقَعَ عَلَيْهِمُ الرِّجْزُ قَالُوا يَا مُوسَى ادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ بِمَا عَهِدَ عِندَكَ  ۖ لَئِن كَشَفْتَ عَنَّا الرِّجْزَ لَنُؤْمِنَنَّ لَكَ وَلَنُرْسِلَنَّ مَعَكَ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ

    вəлəммəə вəќō'ə 'əлэйhимур-риджзу ќōōлюю йəə муусəə-д'у лəнəə рōббəкə бимəə 'əhидə 'иŋŋдəк, лə`иŋŋ-кəшəфтə 'əннəəр-риджзə лəну`минəннə лəкə вəлəнурсилəннə мə'əкə бəнии исрōō`ииль

    Whenever a plague fell upon them, they would say, ‘O Moses, invoke your Lord for us by the covenant He has made with you. If you remove the plague from us, we will certainly believe in you and let the Children of Israel go along with you.’
  • 7:135

    فَلَمَّا كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُمُ الرِّجْزَ إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ هُم بَالِغُوهُ إِذَا هُمْ يَنكُثُونَ

    фəлəммəə кəшəфнəə 'əнhумур-риджзə илəə əджəлин hумм-бəəлиґууhу из̃əə hум йəŋŋкуc̃уун

    But when We had removed the plague from them until a term that they should have completed, behold, they broke their promise.
  • 7:136

    فَانتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ فَأَغْرَقْنَاهُمْ فِي الْيَمِّ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا وَكَانُوا عَنْهَا غَافِلِينَ

    фəəŋŋтəќōмнəə минhум фə`əґрōќнəəhум фииль-йəмми би`əннəhум кəз̃з̃əбуу би`əəйəəтинəə вəкəəнуу 'əнhəə ґōōфилиин

    So We took vengeance on them and drowned them in the sea, for they denied Our signs and were oblivious to them.
  • 7:137

    وَأَوْرَثْنَا الْقَوْمَ الَّذِينَ كَانُوا يُسْتَضْعَفُونَ مَشَارِقَ الْأَرْضِ وَمَغَارِبَهَا الَّتِي بَارَكْنَا فِيهَا  ۖ وَتَمَّتْ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ الْحُسْنَىٰ عَلَىٰ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ بِمَا صَبَرُوا  ۖ وَدَمَّرْنَا مَا كَانَ يَصْنَعُ فِرْعَوْنُ وَقَوْمُهُ وَمَا كَانُوا يَعْرِشُونَ

    вə`əурōc̃нəəль-ќōумəль-лəз̃иинə кəəнуу йустəд'əфуунə мəшəəриќōль-əрды вəмəґōōрибəhəəль-лəтии бəəрōкнəə фииhəə, вəтəммəт кəлимəту рōббикəль-hуснəə 'əлəə бəнии исрōō`иилə бимəə сōбəруу, вəдəммəрнəə мəə кəəнə йəснə'у фир'əуну вəќōумуhу вəмəə кəəнуу йə'ришуун

    We made the people who were abased the heirs to the east and west of the land which We had blessed, and your Lord’s best word [of promise] was fulfilled for the Children of Israel because of their patience, and We destroyed what Pharaoh and his people had built and what they used to erect.
  • 7:138

    وَجَاوَزْنَا بِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ الْبَحْرَ فَأَتَوْا عَلَىٰ قَوْمٍ يَعْكُفُونَ عَلَىٰ أَصْنَامٍ لَّهُمْ  ۚ قَالُوا يَا مُوسَى اجْعَل لَّنَا إِلَـٰهًا كَمَا لَهُمْ آلِهَةٌ  ۚ قَالَ إِنَّكُمْ قَوْمٌ تَجْهَلُونَ

    вəджəəвəзнəə бибəнии исрōō`иилəль-бəhрō фə`əтəу 'əлəə ќōумий-йə'куфуунə 'əлəə əснəəмиль-лəhум, ќōōлюю йəə муусəə-дж'əль-лəнəə илəəhəн кəмəə лəhум əəлиhəh, ќōōлə иннəкум ќōумун тəджhəлююн

    We carried the Children of Israel across the sea, whereat they came upon a people cleaving to certain idols that they had. They said, ‘O Moses, make for us a god like the gods that they have.’ He said, ‘You are indeed an ignorant lot.
  • 7:139

    إِنَّ هَـٰؤُلَاءِ مُتَبَّرٌ مَّا هُمْ فِيهِ وَبَاطِلٌ مَّا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ

    иннə həə`улəə`и мутəббəрумм-мəə hум фииhи вəбəəтылюмм-мəə кəəнуу йə'мəлююн

    What they are engaged in is indeed bound to perish, and what they have been doing shall come to naught.’
  • 7:140

    قَالَ أَغَيْرَ اللَّهِ أَبْغِيكُمْ إِلَـٰهًا وَهُوَ فَضَّلَكُمْ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ

    ќōōлə əґōйрōл-лаhи əбґиикум илəəhəу-вəhувə фəддōлəкум 'əлəəль-'əəлəмиин

    He said, ‘Shall I find you a god other than Allah, while He has graced you over all the nations?’
