  • 23:101
    فَإِذَا نُفِخَ فِي الصُّورِ فَلَا أَنسَابَ بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَلَا يَتَسَاءَلُونَ

    фə`из̃əə нуфихō фиис-суури фəлəə əŋŋсəəбə бэйнəhум йəумə`из̃иу-вəлəə йəтəсəə`əлююн

    When the Trumpet is blown, there will be no ties between them on that day, nor will they ask [about] each other.

    فَمَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَازِينُهُ فَأُولَـٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ

    фəмəŋŋ-c̃əќулəт мəвəəзиинуhу фə`уулəə`икə hумуль-муфлиhуун

    Then those whose deeds weigh heavy in the scales—it is they who are the felicitous.

    وَمَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِينُهُ فَأُولَـٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ خَسِرُوا أَنفُسَهُمْ فِي جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدُونَ

    вəмəн хōффəт мəвəəзиинуhу фə`уулəə`икəль-лəз̃иинə хōсируу əŋŋфусəhум фии джəhəннəмə хōōлидуун

    As for those whose deeds weigh light in the scales—they will be the ones who have ruined their souls, and they will remain in hell [forever].

    تَلْفَحُ وُجُوهَهُمُ النَّارُ وَهُمْ فِيهَا كَالِحُونَ

    тəльфəhу вуджууhəhумун-нəəру вəhум фииhəə кəəлиhуун

    The Fire will scorch their faces, while they snarl baring their teeth.

    أَلَمْ تَكُنْ آيَاتِي تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ فَكُنتُم بِهَا تُكَذِّبُونَ

    əлəм тəкун əəйəəтии тутлəə 'əлэйкум фəкуŋŋтумм-биhəə тукəз̃з̃ибуун

    ‘Was it not that My signs were recited to you but you would deny them?’

    قَالُوا رَبَّنَا غَلَبَتْ عَلَيْنَا شِقْوَتُنَا وَكُنَّا قَوْمًا ضَالِّينَ

    ќōōлюю рōббəнəə ґōлəбəт 'əлэйнəə шиќвəтунəə вəкуннəə ќōумəн дōōллиин

    They will say, ‘Our Lord! Our wretchedness overcame us, and we were an astray lot.

    رَبَّنَا أَخْرِجْنَا مِنْهَا فَإِنْ عُدْنَا فَإِنَّا ظَالِمُونَ

    рōббəнəə əхриджнəə минhəə фə`ин 'уднəə фə`иннəə з̃ōōлимуун

    Our Lord! Bring us out of this! Then, if we revert [to our previous conduct], we will indeed be wrongdoers.’

    قَالَ اخْسَئُوا فِيهَا وَلَا تُكَلِّمُونِ

    ќōōлə-хсə`уу фииhəə вəлəə тукəллимуун

    He will say, ‘Begone in it, and do not speak to Me!

    إِنَّهُ كَانَ فَرِيقٌ مِّنْ عِبَادِي يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ

    иннəhу кəəнə фəрииќумм-мин 'ибəəдии йəќуулююнə рōббəнəə əəмəннəə фəəґфир лəнəə вəəрhəмнəə вə`əŋŋтə хōйрур-рōōhимиин

    Indeed there was a part of My servants who would say, ‘‘Our Lord! We have believed. So forgive us, and have mercy on us, and You are the best of the merciful.’’

  • 23:110
    فَاتَّخَذْتُمُوهُمْ سِخْرِيًّا حَتَّىٰ أَنسَوْكُمْ ذِكْرِي وَكُنتُم مِّنْهُمْ تَضْحَكُونَ

    фəəттəхōз̃тумууhум сихриййəн həттəə əŋŋсəукум з̃икрии вəкуŋŋтум-минhум тəдhəкуун

    But you took them by ridicule until they made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them.

  • 23:111
    إِنِّي جَزَيْتُهُمُ الْيَوْمَ بِمَا صَبَرُوا أَنَّهُمْ هُمُ الْفَائِزُونَ

    иннии джəзəйтуhумуль-йəумə бимəə сōбəруу əннəhум hумуль-фəə`изуун

    Indeed I have rewarded them today for their patience. They are indeed the triumphant.’

    قَالَ كَمْ لَبِثْتُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ عَدَدَ سِنِينَ

    ќōōлə кəм лəбиc̃тум фииль-əрды 'əдəдə синиин

    He will say, ‘How many years did you remain on earth?’

    قَالُوا لَبِثْنَا يَوْمًا أَوْ بَعْضَ يَوْمٍ فَاسْأَلِ الْعَادِّينَ

    ќōōлюю лəбиc̃нəə йəумəн əу бə'дō йəумин фəəс`əлиль-'əəддиин

    They will say, ‘We remained for a day, or part of a day; yet ask those who keep the count.’

  • 23:114
    قَالَ إِن لَّبِثْتُمْ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا  ۖ لَّوْ أَنَّكُمْ كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ

    ќōōлə иль-лəбиc̃тум ильлəə ќōлиилə, лəу əннəкум куŋŋтум тə'лəмуун

    He will say, ‘You only remained a little; if only you had known.

  • 23:115
    أَفَحَسِبْتُمْ أَنَّمَا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ عَبَثًا وَأَنَّكُمْ إِلَيْنَا لَا تُرْجَعُونَ

    əфəhəсибтум əннəмəə хōлəќнəəкум 'əбəc̃əу-вə`əннəкум илəйнəə лəə турджə'уун

    Did you suppose that We created you aimlessly, and that you will not be brought back to Us?’

  • 23:116
    فَتَعَالَى اللَّهُ الْمَلِكُ الْحَقُّ  ۖ لَا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ

    фəтə'əəлəл-лаhуль-мəликуль-həќќ, лəə илəəhə ильлəə hувə рōббуль-'əршиль-кəриим

    So exalted is Allah, the True Sovereign, there is no god except Him, the Lord of the Noble Throne.

  • 23:117
    وَمَن يَدْعُ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَـٰهًا آخَرَ لَا بُرْهَانَ لَهُ بِهِ فَإِنَّمَا حِسَابُهُ عِندَ رَبِّهِ  ۚ إِنَّهُ لَا يُفْلِحُ الْكَافِرُونَ

    вəмəй-йəд'у мə'əл-лаhи илəəhəн əəхōрō лəə бурhəəнə лəhу биhи фə`иннəмəə hисəəбуhу 'иŋŋдə рōббиh, иннəhу лəə йуфлиhуль-кəəфируун

    Whoever invokes besides Allah another god of which he has no proof, his reckoning will indeed rest with his Lord. Indeed the faithless will not be felicitous.

  • 23:118
    وَقُل رَّبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ

    вəќур-рōбби-ґфир вəəрhəм вə`əŋŋтə хōйрур-рōōhимиин

    Say, ‘My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of the merciful.’
