3:41
قَالَ رَبِّ اجْعَل لِّي آيَةً ۖ قَالَ آيَتُكَ أَلَّا تُكَلِّمَ النَّاسَ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ إِلَّا رَمْزًا ۗ وَاذْكُر رَّبَّكَ كَثِيرًا وَسَبِّحْ بِالْعَشِيِّ وَالْإِبْكَارِќōōлə рōбби-дж'əл-лии əəйəh, ќōōлə əəйəтукə əльлəə тукəллимəн-нəəсə c̃əлəəc̃əтə əййəəмин ильлəə рōмзə, вəəз̃кур-рōббəкə кəc̃иирōу-вəсəббиh би-ль-'əшиййи вəəль`ибкəəр
He said, ‘My Lord, grant me a sign.’ Said He, ‘Your sign is that you will not speak to people for three days except in gestures. Remember Your Lord much, and glorify Him morning and evening.’ -
3:42
وَإِذْ قَالَتِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ يَا مَرْيَمُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ اصْطَفَاكِ وَطَهَّرَكِ وَاصْطَفَاكِ عَلَىٰ نِسَاءِ الْعَالَمِينَвə`из̃ ќōōлəтиль-мəлəə`икəту йəə мəрйəму иннəл-лаhə-стōфəəки вəтōhhəрōки вəəстōфəəки 'əлəə нисəə`иль-'əəлəмиин
And when the angels said, ‘O Mary, Allah has chosen you and purified you, and He has chosen you above the world’s women. -
3:44
ذَٰلِكَ مِنْ أَنبَاءِ الْغَيْبِ نُوحِيهِ إِلَيْكَ ۚ وَمَا كُنتَ لَدَيْهِمْ إِذْ يُلْقُونَ أَقْلَامَهُمْ أَيُّهُمْ يَكْفُلُ مَرْيَمَ وَمَا كُنتَ لَدَيْهِمْ إِذْ يَخْتَصِمُونَз̃əəликə мин əмм-бəə`иль-ґōйби нууhииhи илəйк, вəмəə куŋŋтə лəдəйhим из̃ йульќуунə əќлəəмəhум əййуhум йəкфулю мəрйəмə вəмəə куŋŋтə лəдəйhим из̃ йəхтəсымуун
These accounts are from the Unseen, which We reveal to you, and you were not with them when they were casting lots [to see] which of them would take charge of Mary’s care, nor were you with them when they were contending. -
3:45
إِذْ قَالَتِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ يَا مَرْيَمُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُبَشِّرُكِ بِكَلِمَةٍ مِّنْهُ اسْمُهُ الْمَسِيحُ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ وَجِيهًا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَمِنَ الْمُقَرَّبِينَиз̃ ќōōлəтиль-мəлəə`икəту йəə мəрйəму иннəл-лаhə йубəшшируки бикəлимəтимм-минhу-смуhуль-мəсииhу 'иисəə-бну мəрйəмə вəджииhəн фиид-дунйəə вəəль`əəхырōти вəминəль-муќōррōбиин
When the angels said, ‘O Mary, Allah gives you the good news of a Word from Him whose name is Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, distinguished in the world and the Hereafter and one of those brought near [to Allah]. -
3:47
قَالَتْ رَبِّ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لِي وَلَدٌ وَلَمْ يَمْسَسْنِي بَشَرٌ ۖ قَالَ كَذَٰلِكِ اللَّهُ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَاءُ ۚ إِذَا قَضَىٰ أَمْرًا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُќōōлəт рōбби əннəə йəкууну лии вəлəдуу-вəлəм йəмсəснии бəшəр, ќōōлə кəз̃əəликиль-лəhу йəхлюќу мəə йəшəə, из̃əə ќōдōō əмрōн фə`иннəмəə йəќуулю лəhу куŋŋ-фəйəкуун
She said, ‘My Lord, how shall I have a child seeing that no human has ever touched me?’ He said, ‘So it is that Allah creates whatever He wishes. When He decides on a matter He just says to it ‘‘Be!’’ and it is. -
3:49
وَرَسُولًا إِلَىٰ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ أَنِّي قَدْ جِئْتُكُم بِآيَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ ۖ أَنِّي أَخْلُقُ لَكُم مِّنَ الطِّينِ كَهَيْئَةِ الطَّيْرِ فَأَنفُخُ فِيهِ فَيَكُونُ طَيْرًا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ ۖ وَأُبْرِئُ الْأَكْمَهَ وَالْأَبْرَصَ وَأُحْيِي الْمَوْتَىٰ بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ ۖ وَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا تَأْكُلُونَ وَمَا تَدَّخِرُونَ فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَвəрōсуулəн илəə бəнии исрōō`иилə əннии ќōд джи`тукумм-би`əəйəтимм-мир-рōббикум, əннии əхлюќу лəкум-минəт-тыыни кəhəй`əтит-тōйри фə`əŋŋфуху фииhи фəйəкууну тōйрōмм-би`из̃ниль-лəh, вə`убри`уль-əкмəhə вəəль`əбрōсō вə`уhйииль-мəутəə би`из̃ниль-лəh, вə`унəбби`укумм-бимəə тə`кулююнə вəмəə тəддəхыруунə фии буйуутикум, иннə фии з̃əəликə лə`əəйəтəль-лəкум иŋŋ-куŋŋтум-му`миниин
and [he will be] an apostle to the Children of Israel, [and he will declare,] “I have certainly brought you a sign from your Lord: I will create for you the form of a bird out of clay, then I will breathe into it, and it will become a bird by Allah’s leave. I heal the blind and the leper and I revive the dead by Allah’s leave. I will tell you what you have eaten and what you have stored in your houses. There is indeed a sign in that for you, should you be faithful. -
3:50
وَمُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيَّ مِنَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَلِأُحِلَّ لَكُم بَعْضَ الَّذِي حُرِّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ ۚ وَجِئْتُكُم بِآيَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِвəмусōддиќōл-лимəə бэйнə йəдəййə минəт-тəурōōти вəли`уhильлə лəкумм-бə'дōль-лəз̃ии hурримə 'əлэйкум, вəджи`тукумм-би`əəйəтимм-мир-рōббикум фəəттəќуул-лаhə вə`əтыы'уун
And [I come] to confirm [the truth of] that which is before me of the Torah, and to make lawful for you some of the things that were forbidden you. I have brought you a sign from your Lord; so be wary of Allah and obey me. -
3:52
۞ فَلَمَّا أَحَسَّ عِيسَىٰ مِنْهُمُ الْكُفْرَ قَالَ مَنْ أَنصَارِي إِلَى اللَّهِ ۖ قَالَ الْحَوَارِيُّونَ نَحْنُ أَنصَارُ اللَّهِ آمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ وَاشْهَدْ بِأَنَّا مُسْلِمُونَфəлəммəə əhəссə 'иисəə минhумуль-куфрō ќōōлə мəн əŋŋсōōрии илəл-лаh, ќōōлəль-həвəəриййуунə нəhну əŋŋсōōрул-лаhи əəмəннəə биль-лəhи вəəшhəд би`əннəə муслимуун
When Jesus sensed their faithlessness, he said, ‘Who will be my helpers [on the path] toward Allah?’ The Disciples said, ‘We will be helpers of Allah. We have faith in Allah, and you be witness that we have submitted [to Him]. -
3:55
إِذْ قَالَ اللَّهُ يَا عِيسَىٰ إِنِّي مُتَوَفِّيكَ وَرَافِعُكَ إِلَيَّ وَمُطَهِّرُكَ مِنَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَجَاعِلُ الَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوكَ فَوْقَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ ۖ ثُمَّ إِلَيَّ مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَأَحْكُمُ بَيْنَكُمْ فِيمَا كُنتُمْ فِيهِ تَخْتَلِفُونَиз̃ ќōōлəл-лаhу йəə 'иисəə иннии мутəвəффиикə вəрōōфи'укə илəййə вəмутōhhирукə минəль-лəз̃иинə кəфəруу вəджəə'илюль-лəз̃иинə-ттəбə'уукə фəуќōль-лəз̃иинə кəфəруу илəə йəумиль-ќийəəмəh, c̃уммə илəййə мəрджи'укум фə`əhкуму бэйнəкум фиимəə куŋŋтум фииhи тəхтəлифуун
When Allah said, ‘O Jesus, I shall take you[r soul], and I shall raise you up toward Myself, and I shall clear you of [the calumnies of] the faithless, and I shall set those who follow you above the faithless until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me will be your return, whereat I will judge between you concerning that about which you used to differ. -
3:56
فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فَأُعَذِّبُهُمْ عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن نَّاصِرِينَфə`əммəəль-лəз̃иинə кəфəруу фə`у'əз̃з̃ибуhум 'əз̃əəбəн шəдиидəн фиид-дунйəə вəəль`əəхырōти вəмəə лəhум-мин-нəəсыриин
As for the faithless, I will punish them with a severe punishment in the world and the Hereafter; and they will have no helpers.’ -
3:57
وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَيُوَفِّيهِمْ أُجُورَهُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الظَّالِمِينَвə`əммəəль-лəз̃иинə əəмəнуу вə'əмилююс-сōōлиhəəти фəйувəффииhим уджуурōhум, вəл-лаhу лəə йуhиббуз̃-з̃ōōлимиин
But as for those who have faith and do righteous deeds, He will pay them in full their rewards, and Allah does not like the wrongdoers. -
3:59
إِنَّ مَثَلَ عِيسَىٰ عِندَ اللَّهِ كَمَثَلِ آدَمَ ۖ خَلَقَهُ مِن تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُиннə мəc̃əлə 'иисəə 'иŋŋдəл-лаhи кəмəc̃əли əəдəм, хōлəќōhу миŋŋ-турōōбин c̃уммə ќōōлə лəhу куŋŋ-фəйəкуун
Indeed the case of Jesus with Allah is like the case of Adam: He created him from dust, then said to him, ‘Be,’ and he was.
