3:21
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَكْفُرُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَيَقْتُلُونَ النَّبِيِّينَ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ وَيَقْتُلُونَ الَّذِينَ يَأْمُرُونَ بِالْقِسْطِ مِنَ النَّاسِ فَبَشِّرْهُم بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍиннəль-лəз̃иинə йəкфуруунə би`əəйəəтиль-лəhи вəйəќтулююнəн-нəбиййиинə биґōйри həќќиу-вəйəќтулююнəль-лəз̃иинə йə`муруунə би-ль-ќисты минəн-нəəси фəбəшширhумм-би'əз̃əəбин əлиим
Those who deny Allah’s signs and kill the prophets unjustly and kill those who call for justice from among the people, inform them of a painful punishment. -
3:22
أُولَـٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن نَّاصِرِينَуулəə`икəль-лəз̃иинə həбитōт ə'мəəлюhум фиид-дунйəə вəəль`əəхырōти вəмəə лəhум-мин-нəəсыриин
They are the ones whose works have failed in this world and the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers. -
3:23
أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا نَصِيبًا مِّنَ الْكِتَابِ يُدْعَوْنَ إِلَىٰ كِتَابِ اللَّهِ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَهُمْ ثُمَّ يَتَوَلَّىٰ فَرِيقٌ مِّنْهُمْ وَهُم مُّعْرِضُونَəлəм тəрō илəəль-лəз̃иинə уутуу нəсыыбəмм-минəль-китəəби йуд'əунə илəə китəəбиль-лəhи лийəhкумə бэйнəhум c̃уммə йəтəвəльлəə фəрииќумм-минhум вəhум-му'ридуун
Have you not regarded those who were given a share of the Book, who are summoned to the Book of Allah in order that it may judge between them, whereat a part of them refuse to comply and they are disregardful? -
3:24
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا لَن تَمَسَّنَا النَّارُ إِلَّا أَيَّامًا مَّعْدُودَاتٍ ۖ وَغَرَّهُمْ فِي دِينِهِم مَّا كَانُوا يَفْتَرُونَз̃əəликə би`əннəhум ќōōлюю лəŋŋ-тəмəссəнəəн-нəəру ильлəə əййəəмəмм-мə'дуудəəт, вəґōррōhум фии дииниhим-мəə кəəнуу йəфтəруун
That is because they say, ‘The Fire shall not touch us except for a number of days,’ and they have been misled in their religion by what they used to fabricate. -
3:25
فَكَيْفَ إِذَا جَمَعْنَاهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ لَّا رَيْبَ فِيهِ وَوُفِّيَتْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَфəкəйфə из̃əə джəмə'нəəhум лийəумиль-лəə рōйбə фииhи вəвуффийəт куллю нəфсимм-мəə кəсəбəт вəhум лəə йуз̃лəмуун
But how will it be [with them] when We gather them on a day in which there is no doubt, and every soul shall be recompensed fully for what it has earned, and they will not be wronged? -
3:26
قُلِ اللَّهُمَّ مَالِكَ الْمُلْكِ تُؤْتِي الْمُلْكَ مَن تَشَاءُ وَتَنزِعُ الْمُلْكَ مِمَّن تَشَاءُ وَتُعِزُّ مَن تَشَاءُ وَتُذِلُّ مَن تَشَاءُ ۖ بِيَدِكَ الْخَيْرُ ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌќулиль-лəhуммə мəəликəль-мульки ту`тииль-мулькə мəŋŋ-тəшəə`у вəтəŋŋзи'уль-мулькə миммəŋŋ-тəшəə`у вəту'иззу мəŋŋ-тəшəə`у вəтуз̃иллю мəŋŋ-тəшəə, бийəдикəль-хōйр, иннəкə 'əлəə кулли шэй`ин ќōдиир
Say, ‘O Allah, Master of all sovereignty! You give sovereignty to whomever You wish, and strip of sovereignty whomever You wish; You make mighty whomever You wish, and You degrade whomever You wish; all choice is in Your hand. Indeed You have power over all things.’ -
3:27
تُولِجُ اللَّيْلَ فِي النَّهَارِ وَتُولِجُ النَّهَارَ فِي اللَّيْلِ ۖ وَتُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ وَتُخْرِجُ الْمَيِّتَ مِنَ الْحَيِّ ۖ وَتَرْزُقُ مَن تَشَاءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍтуулиджуль-лэйлə фиин-нəhəəри вəтуулиджун-нəhəəрō фииль-лэйль, вəтухриджуль-həййə минəль-мəййити вəтухриджуль-мəййитə минəль-həйй, вəтəрзуќу мəŋŋ-тəшəə`у биґōйри hисəəб
‘You make the night pass into the day and You make the day pass into the night. You bring forth the living from the dead and You bring forth the dead from the living, and You provide for whomever You wish without any reckoning.’ -
3:28
لَّا يَتَّخِذِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الْكَافِرِينَ أَوْلِيَاءَ مِن دُونِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۖ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَٰلِكَ فَلَيْسَ مِنَ اللَّهِ فِي شَيْءٍ إِلَّا أَن تَتَّقُوا مِنْهُمْ تُقَاةً ۗ وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ اللَّهُ نَفْسَهُ ۗ وَإِلَى اللَّهِ الْمَصِيرُлəə йəттəхыз̃иль-му`минуунəль-кəəфириинə əулийəə`ə миŋŋ-дууниль-му`миниин, вəмəй-йəф'əль з̃əəликə фəлэйсə минəл-лаhи фии шэй`ин ильлəə əŋŋ-тəттəќуу минhум туќōōh, вəйуhəз̃з̃ирукумул-лаhу нəфсəh, вə`илəл-лаhиль-мəсыыр
The faithful should not take the faithless for allies instead of the faithful, and Allah will have nothing to do with those who do that, except when you are wary of them, out of caution. Allah warns you to beware of [disobeying] Him, and toward Allah is the return. -
3:29
قُلْ إِن تُخْفُوا مَا فِي صُدُورِكُمْ أَوْ تُبْدُوهُ يَعْلَمْهُ اللَّهُ ۗ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌќуль иŋŋ-тухфуу мəə фии судуурикум əу тубдууhу йə'лəмhул-лаh, вəйə'лəму мəə фиис-сəмəəвəəти вəмəə фииль-əрд, вəл-лаhу 'əлəə кулли шэй`ин ќōдиир
Say, ‘Whether you hide what is in your hearts or disclose it, Allah knows it, and He knows whatever there is in the heavens and whatever there is in the earth; and Allah has power over all things.’ -
3:30
يَوْمَ تَجِدُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا عَمِلَتْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ مُّحْضَرًا وَمَا عَمِلَتْ مِن سُوءٍ تَوَدُّ لَوْ أَنَّ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَهُ أَمَدًا بَعِيدًا ۗ وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ اللَّهُ نَفْسَهُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ رَءُوفٌ بِالْعِبَادِйəумə тəджиду куллю нəфсимм-мəə 'əмилəт мин хōйримм-муhдōрōу-вəмəə 'əмилəт миŋŋ-суу`ин тəвəдду лəу əннə бэйнəhəə вəбэйнəhу əмəдəмм-бə'иидə, вəйуhəз̃з̃ирукумул-лаhу нəфсəh, вəл-лаhу рō`ууфумм-би-ль-'ибəəд
The day when every soul will find present whatever good it has done; and as for the evil, it has done, it will wish there were a far distance between it and itself. Allah warns you to beware of [disobeying] Him, and Allah is most kind to [His] servants. -
3:31
قُلْ إِن كُنتُمْ تُحِبُّونَ اللَّهَ فَاتَّبِعُونِي يُحْبِبْكُمُ اللَّهُ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌќуль иŋŋ-куŋŋтум туhиббуунəл-лаhə фəəттəби'уунии йуhбибкумул-лаhу вəйəґфир лəкум з̃унуубəкум, вəл-лаhу ґōфуурур-рōhиим
Say, ‘If you love Allah, then follow me; Allah will love you and forgive you your sins, and Allah is all-forgiving, all-merciful.’ -
3:33
۞ إِنَّ اللَّهَ اصْطَفَىٰ آدَمَ وَنُوحًا وَآلَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَآلَ عِمْرَانَ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَиннəл-лаhə-стōфəə əəдəмə вəнууhəу-вə`əəлə ибрōōhиимə вə`əəлə 'имрōōнə 'əлəəль-'əəлəмиин
Indeed Allah chose Adam and Noah, and the progeny of Abraham and the progeny of Imran above all the nations; -
3:35
إِذْ قَالَتِ امْرَأَتُ عِمْرَانَ رَبِّ إِنِّي نَذَرْتُ لَكَ مَا فِي بَطْنِي مُحَرَّرًا فَتَقَبَّلْ مِنِّي ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُиз̃ ќōōлəти-мрō`əту 'имрōōнə рōбби иннии нəз̃əрту лəкə мəə фии бəтнии муhəррōрōн фəтəќōббəль минний, иннəкə əŋŋтəс-сəмии'уль-'əлиим
When the wife of Imran said, ‘My Lord, I dedicate to You in consecration what is in my belly. Accept it from me; indeed You are the All-hearing, the All-knowing.’ -
3:36
فَلَمَّا وَضَعَتْهَا قَالَتْ رَبِّ إِنِّي وَضَعْتُهَا أُنثَىٰ وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا وَضَعَتْ وَلَيْسَ الذَّكَرُ كَالْأُنثَىٰ ۖ وَإِنِّي سَمَّيْتُهَا مَرْيَمَ وَإِنِّي أُعِيذُهَا بِكَ وَذُرِّيَّتَهَا مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِфəлəммəə вəдō'əтhəə ќōōлəт рōбби иннии вəдō'туhəə уŋŋc̃əə вəл-лаhу ə'лəму бимəə вəдō'əт вəлэйсəз̃-з̃əкəру кəəль`уŋŋc̃əə, вə`иннии сəммəйтуhəə мəрйəмə вə`иннии у'ииз̃уhəə бикə вəз̃урриййəтəhəə минəш-шэйтōōнир-рōджиим
When she bore her, she said, ‘My Lord, I have borne a female [child]’—and Allah knew better what she had borne, and the male [child she expected] was no match for the female [child she had borne] —‘and I have named her Mary, and I commend her and her offspring to Your care against [the evil of] the outcast Satan.’ -
3:37
فَتَقَبَّلَهَا رَبُّهَا بِقَبُولٍ حَسَنٍ وَأَنبَتَهَا نَبَاتًا حَسَنًا وَكَفَّلَهَا زَكَرِيَّا ۖ كُلَّمَا دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا زَكَرِيَّا الْمِحْرَابَ وَجَدَ عِندَهَا رِزْقًا ۖ قَالَ يَا مَرْيَمُ أَنَّىٰ لَكِ هَـٰذَا ۖ قَالَتْ هُوَ مِنْ عِندِ اللَّهِ ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَرْزُقُ مَن يَشَاءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍфəтəќōббəлəhəə рōббуhəə биќōбуулин həсəниу-вə`əмм-бəтəhəə нəбəəтəн həсəнəу-вəкəффəлəhəə зəкəриййəə, кульлəмəə дəхōлə 'əлэйhəə зəкəриййəəль-миhрōōбə вəджəдə 'иŋŋдəhəə ризќō, ќōōлə йəə мəрйəму əннəə лəки həəз̃əə, ќōōлəт hувə мин 'иŋŋдиль-лəh, иннəл-лаhə йəрзуќу мəй-йəшəə`у биґōйри hисəəб
Thereupon her Lord accepted her with a gracious acceptance, and made her grow up in a worthy fashion, and He charged Zechariah with her care. Whenever Zechariah visited her in the sanctuary, he would find provisions with her. He said, ‘O Mary, from where does this come for you?’ She said, ‘It comes from Allah. Allah provides whomever He wishes without any reckoning.’ -
3:38
هُنَالِكَ دَعَا زَكَرِيَّا رَبَّهُ ۖ قَالَ رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِن لَّدُنكَ ذُرِّيَّةً طَيِّبَةً ۖ إِنَّكَ سَمِيعُ الدُّعَاءِhунəəликə дə'əə зəкəриййəə рōббəh, ќōōлə рōбби həб лии миль-лəдуŋŋкə з̃урриййəтəн тōййибəh, иннəкə сəмии'уд-ду'əə
Thereat Zechariah supplicated his Lord. He said, ‘My Lord! Grant me a good offspring from You! Indeed You hear all supplications.’ -
3:39
فَنَادَتْهُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ يُصَلِّي فِي الْمِحْرَابِ أَنَّ اللَّهَ يُبَشِّرُكَ بِيَحْيَىٰ مُصَدِّقًا بِكَلِمَةٍ مِّنَ اللَّهِ وَسَيِّدًا وَحَصُورًا وَنَبِيًّا مِّنَ الصَّالِحِينَфəнəəдəтhуль-мəлəə`икəту вəhувə ќōō`имуй-йусōллии фииль-миhрōōби əннəл-лаhə йубəшширукə бийəhйəə мусōддиќōмм-бикəлимəтимм-минəл-лаhи вəсəййидəу-вəhəсуурōу-вəнəбиййəмм-минəс-сōōлиhиин
Then, as he stood praying in the sanctuary the angels called out to him: ‘Allah gives you the good news of John, as a confirmer of a Word of Allah, eminent and chaste, a prophet, and one of the righteous.’ -
3:40
قَالَ رَبِّ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لِي غُلَامٌ وَقَدْ بَلَغَنِيَ الْكِبَرُ وَامْرَأَتِي عَاقِرٌ ۖ قَالَ كَذَٰلِكَ اللَّهُ يَفْعَلُ مَا يَشَاءُќōōлə рōбби əннəə йəкууну лии ґулəəмуу-вəќōд бəлəґōнийəль-кибəру вəəмрō`əтии 'əəќир, ќōōлə кəз̃əəликəл-лаhу йəф'əлю мəə йəшəə
He said, ‘My Lord, how shall I have a son while old age has overtaken me and my wife is barren?’ Said He, ‘So it is that Allah does whatever He wishes.’
