3:101
وَكَيْفَ تَكْفُرُونَ وَأَنتُمْ تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ آيَاتُ اللَّهِ وَفِيكُمْ رَسُولُهُ ۗ وَمَن يَعْتَصِم بِاللَّهِ فَقَدْ هُدِيَ إِلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍвəкəйфə тəкфуруунə вə`əŋŋтум тутлəə 'əлэйкум əəйəəтул-лаhи вəфиикум рōсуулюh, вəмəй-йə'тəсымм-биль-лəhи фəќōд hудийə илəə сырōōтымм-мустəќиим
And how would you be faithless while the signs of Allah are recited to you and His Apostle is in your midst? Whoever takes recourse in Allah is certainly guided to a straight path. -
3:102
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ حَقَّ تُقَاتِهِ وَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنتُم مُّسْلِمُونَйəə əййуhəəль-лəз̃иинə əəмəнуу-ттəќуул-лаhə həќќō туќōōтиhи вəлəə тəмуутуннə ильлəə вə`əŋŋтум-муслимуун
O you who have faith! Be wary of Allah with the wariness due to Him and do not die except as Muslims. -
3:103
وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِحَبْلِ اللَّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا ۚ وَاذْكُرُوا نِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ كُنتُمْ أَعْدَاءً فَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُم بِنِعْمَتِهِ إِخْوَانًا وَكُنتُمْ عَلَىٰ شَفَا حُفْرَةٍ مِّنَ النَّارِ فَأَنقَذَكُم مِّنْهَا ۗ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ آيَاتِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَвəə'тəсымуу биhəблиль-лəhи джəмии'əу-вəлəə тəфəррōќуу, вəəз̃куруу ни'мəтəл-лаhи 'əлэйкум из̃ куŋŋтум ə'дəə`əн фə`əльлəфə бэйнə ќулююбикум фə`əсбəhтумм-бини'мəтиhи ихвəəнəу-вəкуŋŋтум 'əлəə шəфəə hуфрōтимм-минəн-нəəри фə`əŋŋќōз̃əкум-минhəə, кəз̃əəликə йубəййинул-лаhу лəкум əəйəəтиhи лə'əльлəкум тəhтəдуун
Hold fast, all together, to Allah’s cord, and do not be divided [into sects]. Remember Allah’s blessing upon you when you were enemies, then He brought your hearts together, so you became brothers with His blessing. And you were on the brink of a pit of Fire, whereat He saved you from it. Thus does Allah clarify His signs for you so that you may be guided. -
3:104
وَلْتَكُن مِّنكُمْ أُمَّةٌ يَدْعُونَ إِلَى الْخَيْرِ وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ ۚ وَأُولَـٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَвəльтəкумм-миŋŋкум уммəтуй-йəд'уунə илəəль-хōйри вəйə`муруунə би-ль-мə'рууфи вəйəнhəунə 'əниль-муŋŋкəр, вə`уулəə`икə hумуль-муфлиhуун
There has to be a nation among you summoning to the good, bidding what is right, and forbidding what is wrong. It is they who are the felicitous. -
3:105
وَلَا تَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ تَفَرَّقُوا وَاخْتَلَفُوا مِن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَهُمُ الْبَيِّنَاتُ ۚ وَأُولَـٰئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌвəлəə тəкуунуу кəəльлəз̃иинə тəфəррōќуу вəəхтəлəфуу мимм-бə'ди мəə джəə`əhумуль-бэййинəəт, вə`уулəə`икə лəhум 'əз̃əəбун 'əз̃ыым
Do not be like those who became divided [into sects] and differed after manifest signs had come to them. For such there will be a great punishment -
3:106
يَوْمَ تَبْيَضُّ وُجُوهٌ وَتَسْوَدُّ وُجُوهٌ ۚ فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ اسْوَدَّتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ أَكَفَرْتُم بَعْدَ إِيمَانِكُمْ فَذُوقُوا الْعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَйəумə тəбйəдду вуджууhуу-вəтəсвəдду вуджууh, фə`əммəəль-лəз̃иинə-свəддəт вуджууhуhум əкəфəртумм-бə'дə иимəəникум фəз̃ууќууль-'əз̃əəбə бимəə куŋŋтум тəкфуруун
on the day when [some] faces will turn white and [some] faces will turn black. As for those whose faces turn black [it will be said to them], ‘Did you disbelieve after your faith? So taste the punishment because of what you used to disbelieve.’ -
3:107
وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ ابْيَضَّتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ فَفِي رَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَвə`əммəəль-лəз̃иинə-бйəддōт вуджууhуhум фəфии рōhмəтиль-лəhи hум фииhəə хōōлидуун
But as for those whose faces become white, they shall dwell in Allah’s mercy, and they will remain in it [forever]. -
3:108
تِلْكَ آيَاتُ اللَّهِ نَتْلُوهَا عَلَيْكَ بِالْحَقِّ ۗ وَمَا اللَّهُ يُرِيدُ ظُلْمًا لِّلْعَالَمِينَтилькə əəйəəтул-лаhи нəтлююhəə 'əлэйкə би-ль-həќќ, вəмəл-лаhу йурииду з̃ульмəл-ли-ль-'əəлəмиин
These are the signs of Allah, which We recite to you in truth, and Allah does not desire any wrong for the creatures. -
3:110
كُنتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ تَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَتَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ ۗ وَلَوْ آمَنَ أَهْلُ الْكِتَابِ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَّهُم ۚ مِّنْهُمُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَأَكْثَرُهُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَкуŋŋтум хōйрō уммəтин ухриджəт лин-нəəси тə`муруунə би-ль-мə'рууфи вəтəнhəунə 'əниль-муŋŋкəри вəту`минуунə биль-лəh, вəлəу əəмəнə əhлюль-китəəби лəкəəнə хōйрōль-лəhум, минhумуль-му`минуунə вə`əкc̃əруhумуль-фəəсиќуун
You are the best nation [ever] brought forth for mankind: you bid what is right and forbid what is wrong, and have faith in Allah. And if the People of the Book had believed, it would have been better for them. Among them [some] are faithful, but most of them are transgressors. -
3:111
لَن يَضُرُّوكُمْ إِلَّا أَذًى ۖ وَإِن يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ يُوَلُّوكُمُ الْأَدْبَارَ ثُمَّ لَا يُنصَرُونَлэй-йəдурруукум ильлəə əз̃əн, вə`ий-йуќōōтилююкум йувəллююкумуль-əдбəəрō c̃уммə лəə йуŋŋсōруун
They will never do you any harm, except for some hurt; and if they fight you, they will turn their backs [to flee], then they will not be helped. -
3:112
ضُرِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الذِّلَّةُ أَيْنَ مَا ثُقِفُوا إِلَّا بِحَبْلٍ مِّنَ اللَّهِ وَحَبْلٍ مِّنَ النَّاسِ وَبَاءُوا بِغَضَبٍ مِّنَ اللَّهِ وَضُرِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمَسْكَنَةُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يَكْفُرُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَيَقْتُلُونَ الْأَنبِيَاءَ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِمَا عَصَوا وَّكَانُوا يَعْتَدُونَдурибəт 'əлэйhимуз̃-з̃ильлəту əйнə мəə c̃уќифуу ильлəə биhəблимм-минəл-лаhи вəhəблимм-минəн-нəəси вəбəə`уу биґōдōбимм-минəл-лаhи вəдурибəт 'əлэйhимуль-мəскəнəh, з̃əəликə би`əннəhум кəəнуу йəкфуруунə би`əəйəəтиль-лəhи вəйəќтулююнəль-əмм-бийəə`ə биґōйри həќќ, з̃əəликə бимəə 'əсōу-вəкəəнуу йə'тəдуун
Wherever they are found, abasement is stamped upon them, except for an asylum from Allah and an asylum from the people. They have earned the wrath of Allah, and poverty has been stamped upon them. That, because they would deny the signs of Allah and kill the prophets unjustly. That, because they would disobey and commit transgression. -
3:113
۞ لَيْسُوا سَوَاءً ۗ مِّنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ أُمَّةٌ قَائِمَةٌ يَتْلُونَ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ آنَاءَ اللَّيْلِ وَهُمْ يَسْجُدُونَлэйсуу сəвəə`ə, мин əhлиль-китəəби уммəтун ќōō`имəтуй-йəтлююнə əəйəəтиль-лəhи əəнəə`əль-лэйли вəhум йəсджудуун
Yet they are not all alike. Among the People of the Book is an upright nation; they recite Allah’s signs in the watches of the night and prostrate. -
3:114
يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَيُسَارِعُونَ فِي الْخَيْرَاتِ وَأُولَـٰئِكَ مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَйу`минуунə биль-лəhи вəəльйəумиль-əəхыри вəйə`муруунə би-ль-мə'рууфи вəйəнhəунə 'əниль-муŋŋкəри вəйусəəри'уунə фииль-хōйрōōти вə`уулəə`икə минəс-сōōлиhиин
They have faith in Allah and the Last Day, and bid what is right and forbid what is wrong, and they are active in [performing] good deeds. Those are among the righteous. -
3:116
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَن تُغْنِيَ عَنْهُمْ أَمْوَالُهُمْ وَلَا أَوْلَادُهُم مِّنَ اللَّهِ شَيْئًا ۖ وَأُولَـٰئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ ۚ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَиннəль-лəз̃иинə кəфəруу лəŋŋ-туґнийə 'əнhум əмвəəлюhум вəлəə əулəəдуhум-минəл-лаhи шэй`ə, вə`уулəə`икə əсhəəбун-нəəр, hум фииhəə хōōлидуун
As for the faithless, neither their wealth nor their children will avail them anything against Allah. They shall be the inmates of the Fire and remain in it [forever]. -
3:117
مَثَلُ مَا يُنفِقُونَ فِي هَـٰذِهِ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا كَمَثَلِ رِيحٍ فِيهَا صِرٌّ أَصَابَتْ حَرْثَ قَوْمٍ ظَلَمُوا أَنفُسَهُمْ فَأَهْلَكَتْهُ ۚ وَمَا ظَلَمَهُمُ اللَّهُ وَلَـٰكِنْ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَмəc̃əлю мəə йуŋŋфиќуунə фии həəз̃иhиль-həйəəтид-дунйəə кəмəc̃əли рииhин фииhəə сыррун əсōōбəт həрc̃ə ќōумин з̃ōлəмуу əŋŋфусəhум фə`əhлəкəтh, вəмəə з̃ōлəмəhумул-лаhу вəлəəкин əŋŋфусəhум йəз̃лимуун
The parable of what they spend in the life of this world is that of a cold wind that strikes the tillage of a people who wronged themselves, destroying it. Allah does not wrong them, but they wrong themselves. -
3:118
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا بِطَانَةً مِّن دُونِكُمْ لَا يَأْلُونَكُمْ خَبَالًا وَدُّوا مَا عَنِتُّمْ قَدْ بَدَتِ الْبَغْضَاءُ مِنْ أَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَمَا تُخْفِي صُدُورُهُمْ أَكْبَرُ ۚ قَدْ بَيَّنَّا لَكُمُ الْآيَاتِ ۖ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْقِلُونَйəə əййуhəəль-лəз̃иинə əəмəнуу лəə тəттəхыз̃уу битōōнəтəмм-миŋŋ-дууникум лəə йə`лююнəкум хōбəəлəу-вəддуу мəə 'əниттум ќōд бəдəтиль-бəґдōō`у мин əфвəəhиhим вəмəə тухфии судууруhум əкбəр, ќōд бэййəннəə лəкумуль-əəйəəт, иŋŋ-куŋŋтум тə'ќилююн
O you who have faith! Do not take your confidants from others than yourselves; they will spare nothing to ruin you. They are eager to see you in distress. Hatred has already shown itself from their mouths, and what their breasts hide [within] is yet worse. We have certainly made the signs clear for you, should you exercise your reason. -
3:119
هَا أَنتُمْ أُولَاءِ تُحِبُّونَهُمْ وَلَا يُحِبُّونَكُمْ وَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْكِتَابِ كُلِّهِ وَإِذَا لَقُوكُمْ قَالُوا آمَنَّا وَإِذَا خَلَوْا عَضُّوا عَلَيْكُمُ الْأَنَامِلَ مِنَ الْغَيْظِ ۚ قُلْ مُوتُوا بِغَيْظِكُمْ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِhəə əŋŋтум уулəə`и туhиббуунəhум вəлəə йуhиббуунəкум вəту`минуунə би-ль-китəəби куллиhи вə`из̃əə лəќуукум ќōōлюю əəмəннəə вə`из̃əə хōлəу 'əддуу 'əлэйкумуль-əнəəмилə минəль-ґōйз̃, ќуль муутуу биґōйз̃ыкум, иннəл-лаhə 'əлиимумм-биз̃əəтис-судуур
Ah! You are the ones who bear love towards them, while they do not love you, though you believe in all the Books. When they meet you, they say, ‘We believe,’ but when they are alone, they bite their fingertips at you out of rage. Say, ‘Die of your rage!’ Indeed Allah knows well what is in the breasts. -
3:120
إِن تَمْسَسْكُمْ حَسَنَةٌ تَسُؤْهُمْ وَإِن تُصِبْكُمْ سَيِّئَةٌ يَفْرَحُوا بِهَا ۖ وَإِن تَصْبِرُوا وَتَتَّقُوا لَا يَضُرُّكُمْ كَيْدُهُمْ شَيْئًا ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ مُحِيطٌиŋŋ-тəмсəскум həсəнəтун тəсу`hум вə`иŋŋ-тусыбкум сəййи`əтуй-йəфрōhуу биhəə, вə`иŋŋ-тəсбируу вəтəттəќуу лəə йəдуррукум кəйдуhум шэй`ə, иннəл-лаhə бимəə йə'мəлююнə муhиит
If some good should befall you, it upsets them, but if some ill befalls you, they rejoice at it. Yet if you are patient and Godwary, their guile will not harm you in any way. Indeed Allah encompasses what they do.
