  • 37:101

    فَبَشَّرْنَاهُ بِغُلَامٍ حَلِيمٍ

    фəбəшшəрнəəhу биґулəəмин həлиим

    So We gave him the good news of a forbearing son.
  • 37:102

    فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ مَعَهُ السَّعْيَ قَالَ يَا بُنَيَّ إِنِّي أَرَىٰ فِي الْمَنَامِ أَنِّي أَذْبَحُكَ فَانظُرْ مَاذَا تَرَىٰ  ۚ قَالَ يَا أَبَتِ افْعَلْ مَا تُؤْمَرُ  ۖ سَتَجِدُنِي إِن شَاءَ اللَّهُ مِنَ الصَّابِرِينَ

    фəлəммəə бəлəґō мə'əhус-сə'йə ќōōлə йəə бунəййə иннии əрōō фииль-мəнəəми əннии əз̃бəhукə фəəŋŋз̃ур мəəз̃əə тəрōō, ќōōлə йəə əбəти-ф'əль мəə ту`мəр, сəтəджидунии иŋŋ-шəə`əл-лаhу минəс-сōōбириин

    When he was old enough to assist in his endeavour, he said, ‘My son! I see in dreams that I am sacrificing you. See what you think.’ He said, ‘Father! Do whatever you have been commanded. If Allah wishes, you will find me to be patient.’
  • 37:103

    فَلَمَّا أَسْلَمَا وَتَلَّهُ لِلْجَبِينِ

    фəлəммəə əслəмəə вəтəльлəhу ли-ль-джəбиин

    So when they had both surrendered [to Allah’s will], and he had laid him down on his forehead,
  • 37:104

    وَنَادَيْنَاهُ أَن يَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ

    вəнəəдəйнəəhу əй-йəə ибрōōhиим

    We called out to him, ‘O Abraham!
  • 37:105

    قَدْ صَدَّقْتَ الرُّؤْيَا  ۚ إِنَّا كَذَ‌ٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ

    ќōд сōддəќтəр-ру`йəə, иннəə кəз̃əəликə нəджзииль-муhсиниин

    You have indeed fulfilled your vision! Thus indeed do We reward the virtuous!
  • 37:106

    إِنَّ هَـٰذَا لَهُوَ الْبَلَاءُ الْمُبِينُ

    иннə həəз̃əə лəhувəль-бəлəə`уль-мубиин

    This was indeed a manifest test.’
  • 37:107

    وَفَدَيْنَاهُ بِذِبْحٍ عَظِيمٍ

    вəфəдəйнəəhу биз̃ибhин 'əз̃ыым

    Then We ransomed him with a great sacrifice,
  • 37:108

    وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِي الْآخِرِينَ

    вəтəрōкнəə 'əлэйhи фииль-əəхыриин

    and left for him a good name in posterity:
  • 37:109

    سَلَامٌ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ

    сəлəəмун 'əлəə ибрōōhиим

    ‘Peace be to Abraham!’
  • 37:110

    كَذَ‌ٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ

    кəз̃əəликə нəджзииль-муhсиниин

    Thus do We reward the virtuous.
  • 37:111

    إِنَّهُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

    иннəhу мин 'ибəəдинəəль-му`миниин

    He is indeed one of Our faithful servants.
  • 37:112

    وَبَشَّرْنَاهُ بِإِسْحَاقَ نَبِيًّا مِّنَ الصَّالِحِينَ

    вəбəшшəрнəəhу би`исhəəќō нəбиййəмм-минəс-сōōлиhиин

    And We gave him the good news of [the birth of] Isaac, a prophet, one of the righteous.
  • 37:113

    وَبَارَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَىٰ إِسْحَاقَ  ۚ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا مُحْسِنٌ وَظَالِمٌ لِّنَفْسِهِ مُبِينٌ

    вəбəəрōкнəə 'əлэйhи вə'əлəə исhəəќ, вəмиŋŋ-з̃урриййəтиhимəə муhсинуу-вəз̃ōōлимул-линəфсиhи мубиин

    And We blessed him and Isaac. Among their descendants [some] are virtuous, and [some] who manifestly wrong themselves.
  • 37:114

    وَلَقَدْ مَنَنَّا عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَارُونَ

    вəлəќōд мəнəннəə 'əлəə муусəə вəhəəруун

    Certainly We favoured Moses and Aaron,
  • 37:115

    وَنَجَّيْنَاهُمَا وَقَوْمَهُمَا مِنَ الْكَرْبِ الْعَظِيمِ

    вəнəджджəйнəəhумəə вəќōумəhумəə минəль-кəрбиль-'əз̃ыым

    and delivered them and their people from their great distress,
  • 37:116

    وَنَصَرْنَاهُمْ فَكَانُوا هُمُ الْغَالِبِينَ

    вəнəсōрнəəhум фəкəəнуу hумуль-ґōōлибиин

    and We helped them so that they became the victors.
  • 37:117

    وَآتَيْنَاهُمَا الْكِتَابَ الْمُسْتَبِينَ

    вə`əəтəйнəəhумəəль-китəəбəль-мустəбиин

    We gave them the illuminating scripture
  • 37:118

    وَهَدَيْنَاهُمَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ

    вəhəдəйнəəhумəəс-сырōōтōль-мустəќиим

    and guided them to the straight path,
  • 37:119

    وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِمَا فِي الْآخِرِينَ

    вəтəрōкнəə 'əлэйhимəə фииль-əəхыриин

    and left for them a good name in posterity.
  • 37:120

    سَلَامٌ عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَارُونَ

    сəлəəмун 'əлəə муусəə вəhəəруун

    ‘Peace be to Moses and Aaron!’
