  • 26:201

    لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ حَتَّىٰ يَرَوُا الْعَذَابَ الْأَلِيمَ

    лəə йу`минуунə биhи həттəə йəрōвуль-'əз̃əəбəль-əлиим

    they do not believe in it until they sight the painful punishment.
  • 26:202

    فَيَأْتِيَهُم بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ

    фəйə`тийəhумм-бəґтəтəу-вəhум лəə йəш'уруун

    It will overtake them suddenly while they are unaware.
  • 26:203

    فَيَقُولُوا هَلْ نَحْنُ مُنظَرُونَ

    фəйəќуулюю həль нəhну муŋŋз̃ōруун

    Thereupon they will say, ‘Shall we be granted any respite?’
  • 26:204

    أَفَبِعَذَابِنَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونَ

    əфəби'əз̃əəбинəə йəстə'джилююн

    So do they seek to hasten on Our punishment?
  • 26:205

    أَفَرَأَيْتَ إِن مَّتَّعْنَاهُمْ سِنِينَ

    əфəрō`əйтə имм-мəттə'нəəhум синиин

    Tell me, should We let them enjoy for some years,
  • 26:206

    ثُمَّ جَاءَهُم مَّا كَانُوا يُوعَدُونَ

    c̃уммə джəə`əhум-мəə кəəнуу йуу'əдуун

    then there comes to them what they have been promised,
  • 26:207

    مَا أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا يُمَتَّعُونَ

    мəə əґнəə 'əнhум-мəə кəəнуу йумəттə'уун

    of what avail to them will be that which they were given to enjoy?
  • 26:208

    وَمَا أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَرْيَةٍ إِلَّا لَهَا مُنذِرُونَ

    вəмəə əhлəкнəə миŋŋ-ќōрйəтин ильлəə лəhəə муŋŋз̃ируун

    We have not destroyed any town without its having warners,
  • 26:209

    ذِكْرَىٰ وَمَا كُنَّا ظَالِمِينَ

    з̃икрōō вəмəə куннəə з̃ōōлимиин

    for the sake of admonition, and We were not unjust.
  • 26:210

    وَمَا تَنَزَّلَتْ بِهِ الشَّيَاطِينُ

    вəмəə тəнəззəлəт биhиш-шəйəəтыын

    It has not been brought down by the devils.
  • 26:211

    وَمَا يَنبَغِي لَهُمْ وَمَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ

    вəмəə йəмм-бəґии лəhум вəмəə йəстəтыы'уун

    Neither does it behoove them, nor are they capable [of doing that].
  • 26:212

    إِنَّهُمْ عَنِ السَّمْعِ لَمَعْزُولُونَ

    иннəhум 'əнис-сəм'и лəмə'зуулююн

    Indeed, they are kept at bay [even] from hearing it.
  • 26:213

    فَلَا تَدْعُ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَـٰهًا آخَرَ فَتَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُعَذَّبِينَ

    фəлəə тəд'у мə'əл-лаhи илəəhəн əəхōрō фəтəкуунə минəль-му'əз̃з̃əбиин

    So do not invoke any god besides Allah, lest you should be among the punished.
  • 26:214

    وَأَنذِرْ عَشِيرَتَكَ الْأَقْرَبِينَ

    вə`əŋŋз̃ир 'əшиирōтəкəль-əќрōбиин

    Warn the nearest of your kinsfolk,
  • 26:215

    وَاخْفِضْ جَنَاحَكَ لِمَنِ اتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

    вəəхфид джəнəəhəкə лимəни-ттəбə'əкə минəль-му`миниин

    and lower your wing to the faithful who follow you.
  • 26:216

    فَإِنْ عَصَوْكَ فَقُلْ إِنِّي بَرِيءٌ مِّمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ

    фə`ин 'əсōукə фəќуль иннии бəрии`умм-миммəə тə'мəлююн

    But if they disobey you, say, ‘I am absolved of what you do.’
  • 26:217

    وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى الْعَزِيزِ الرَّحِيمِ

    вəтəвəккəль 'əлəəль-'əзиизир-рōhиим

    And put your trust in the All-mighty, the All-merciful,
  • 26:218

    الَّذِي يَرَاكَ حِينَ تَقُومُ

    əльлəз̃ии йəрōōкə hиинə тəќуум

    who sees you when you stand [for prayer],
  • 26:219

    وَتَقَلُّبَكَ فِي السَّاجِدِينَ

    вəтəќōллюбəкə фиис-сəəджидиин

    and your going about among those who prostrate.
  • 26:220

    إِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ

    иннəhу hувəс-сəмии'уль-'əлиим

    Indeed He is the All-hearing, the All-knowing.
